Chapter 2: Appearances.

3rd POV:

Today is a new day. For the SMP members. As the sun shines bright into the sky and awakes people from their sweet and deep slumber.

And, today is the day.... Punz search and find Dream.

Punz's POV:
___________

I woke up, when I heard my alarm go off. I slowly sat, as I set the alarm off. I yawned slightly before I sat on the edge of my bed.

"Right.. it's the day, I go and find Dream.." I mumbled to myself, as I stretches myself out before standing up and going to the bathroom.

'I suppose, I should take a bath first.. and breakfast.. then, I just go out in the SMP without being notice.' I thought to myself, whilst I took a quick bath and washes my face.

("Let's just time-skip this-")

After I took the bath. I ate my breakfast and got ready with my gear and stuff. As usual, I wore my white hoodie, with black jeans and black boots. With my platinum-blonde hair being a bit messy, but it's fine, for now.

I looked around my base, in case I might forgot to bring stuff that is needed. And after a while, I walk out of my base. Without a second thought, I began to walk around and search, without being noticed and being careful.

As I was walking around, I saw the eggpire members.. planning about something, in a place that is quiet and is barely been visit. I ignored them and continued to search for Dream.

Whilst I was walking... The only thing in my mind is just.. Dream. And all I did was hope. Hoping that he's okay.. but, I also started to doubt about it. I walk mindlessly, as I didn't really know where I'm going...

I sighed, as I look around. Before I got an idea popped in my head....

'could Dream be hiding in a.. underground place?'

'wait.. but, which one..? There's.. some underground places in the SMP... I doubted that he'll be in a place like the mines or something..'

This got me thinking a lot. I stopped on track as I was now in deep thoughts about where Dream could be hiding after the prison chase....

My eyes then widened open, as I thought of Dream hiding with the egg, underground... Now, this caught my attention and my guard was fully up as I started it run.. running fast to the eggpire underground base...

As I felt how my mind was being controlled by the egg already, but I'm already used to this... I kept running.. and running... A bit surprisingly.. no one saw me.

But, that's not any problem nor it is in any of my worries... I'm just worried about Dream. I kept running.. until I reaches the base, I ran fast down the stairs and look at the egg with my eyes, still widened.

I saw how the egg had some little cracks on them.. and a bit of black smokes coming out. I looked around.. around and around.. as I then saw blood dripping down to the ground...

I walked closer to the egg, and stopped when I was close enough.. the blood was dripping from the top of the ceiling... This intrigued me.. as I slowly looked up and.. saw..

Dream's dead body hanging on top of the ceiling with the vines wrapping around him..?!?!

3rd POV:

Punz saw it.. he saw Dream.. but, he's dead.

A look of shock was on Punz's face as he felt his breaths hitches.. his mouth was hanging slightly open, as his eyes furrowed slightly and his pupils were going smaller..

"W-wha..-" Punz was too shock and stunned to even form a correct sentences. Punz never felt this way before.. but.. he felt how his heart was sinking in, just by the look of Dream's dead body.. covered in his own blood.

Just then. Some of the red vines wrapped themselves around Punz, as it startled Punz by the suddenness. Punz struggled on escaping from the grasp but, it was useless when the vines were wrapping themselves around him.. a bit too strong.

"What?! What's happening??!" Punz was confused, shocked and stunned at the same time. He was struggling a lot.. but, soon, he sighed in defeat.. as he stopped trying to escape.

Punz then saw a figure behind the egg.. and it caught his attention. Punz was about to say something, but the figure spoke first.. in a soft, quiet and gentle tone of voice..

"Who are you...?", 'That voice...!'

Punz recognize the voice immediately, as they spoke. The owner of the voice was Dream! But.. this really confused Punz.. though, he didn't think about it too much. As he look around, to either find a way to break of the vines grasp.. he just wanted to see Dream again..

Even if Dream's dead body was right Infront and on top of him. He still wants to see him.. not in a dead state.. but, in an alive state..

As Punz looked around, his eyes widened even more... As he saw some dead corpses with their own blood covering them. Punz was slightly disgust, and look at the egg, whilst he tries to escape from the vines grasp.

"..Please answer... Who are you..?"

"If you don't answer.. you might be like them.."

This made Punz shuddered in a bit of fear. 'So... If I don't say anything, or tell him my identity... I get kill just like those people..?!-'; "Ah! Well.. my name is Punz! I-i uh..", Punz was nervous. "I'm a member of the SMP, and I'm also part of the Eggpire.!"

The other male stays silent.. processing what Punz had told him. Slowly, the vines loosen their grasp around Punz, as they slowly un-wrap themselves and leave Punz alone.. Punz sighed in relief, that he was getting released.

"U-uhm... If you don't mind, may you.. show yourself to me?" Punz asked, raising a brow slightly. He was quite intrigued.. yet, he was still on guard. He still didn't trust this figure yet.. even if they sounds like Dream..

Then, the figure walked out. Punz was still shock and stunned, as he saw them. 'Oh...', "Wait.. D-Dream..?" Punz stammered out, his voice sounded shaky and his tone sounded a bit soft.

"....You know me..?"

Now, this kinda caught Punz off-guard. "..Is that actually you, Dream..?" Punz spoke, once more.. making sure that he's not getting manipulate-

"..yes..??" Dream sounded confused. He was fully revealed, and Punz could see how much red was on him instead of green... 'wait.. is he effected by the egg?!' Punz thought to himself, as he looked quite panicked.

"D-Dream.. how long have you been here?" Punz asked, it hasn't been a long time since Dream's escape. It only have been 3 days.. "I've been here since...."

"Since..." Dream looked quite confused. Before he slowly went back to hide behind the egg, but he only peek his head out. "I don't.. remember.. sorry.."

"That's fine.." Punz says, a bit nervously. As he thinks for a moment.. then, a question came into his mind as he started to think about it. "Uh.. Dream, do you remember anything?"

"..no." Dream simply answer, as he look at Punz, with a confused and concerned expression. Punz looked surprised, as he thinks of Dream's answer. "No..? Does that mean.. you don't remember anything..? Not even, me..?"

"...." Silence.
