After 12 years

Kavya's pov

"Ok I will give you a call when she will be here. Bye." I cut the call and kept it on the side table.

It's really difficult to manage a graduation party. Men it's really hectic. Apparently it's Riva's graduation ceremony today and she wants everything to be perfect in her after party celebration and she made me the incharge. And my girl deserves best after what all she had gone through.

"I think Kabir said true when he said that you are being too much tensed and anxious." I turned around and saw Ayesha standing at the doorstep.

"Finally you are here. Now don't keep standing there. Come here and help me in selecting a dress for me." I said as I rummage through my closet.

"Kavya first of all relax. Its going to be fine. All the decoration are done. And I brought this dress for you. Just go and change. We have to go the university. Riva has already went." She said pushing me inside in the bathroom with my dress.

I changed into the dress she brought for me. I came out of the room and saw her standing there. She did my make-up and hair.

"You look beautiful." She said after I wore my heels and stood perfectly dress up.

"Thanks to you. Now tell me where is my princess shanaya." I asked about her daughter who was 10 years old and total cutiepie just like her.

"She is downstairs with Aviral her prince." I chuckled. They both have best friends from the time they are born.

"And before you ask yes Kabir and Avi both are ready to go. Now let's go. We don't want our to kill us." We both went downstairs. Mihir and Kabir both were busy in there business chats and Avi and shanaya were running after each other and playing.

"Let's go if your talk are over." I announced. Kabir looked at me and smiled. I passed back the smile and we made our way to cars.

"Mom can I go in Ayesha aunt's car. Please." He made the puppy face. I couldn't help myself and nodded and then he speeded to their car.

I sat in the car and Kabir started the drive. I can't believe Riva is graduating today. Time flies really fast. Aviral is growing up fast. He was born after two years of our marriage. And after a month only shanaya was born. That's explain their close friendship.

"What's my wifey is thinking so hard?" Kabir asked me. He looked at me and then again put his eyes on the road.

"Nothing serious. Just that how fast time flies. It feels like yesterday I got married. Now Riva is graduating, not to forget Aviral is gonna turn 10 soon. Its been hell of a ride." I smiled recalling the moments.

"True. My daughter is all grown up now. I am that I found you. You are my happiness." He kissed me fastly and then settled on his seat back. I just passed him a glare.

Soon we reached the university. Many children were running here there. I moved out and saw Ayesha already at the auditorium door. We all took our seats. I saw Riva at the backstage. She waved at me. I waved back.

The ceremony started and I saw students going the stages and collecting their degrees.

"And now we would like to call the top student of our university Miss Riva Raichand." I clapped as she came on the stages with all others.

"She is looking so gorgeous. My baby girl." I smiled and looked at Kabir. As she got her degree she passed her full-blown smile to us.

After her group pics got closer cord she came running to us.

"Daddy, I did it." She hugged Kabir. There were tears in Kabir's eyes seeing her daughter graduate now.

"Indeed doctor. My Dr. Riva Raichand. You made me feel so proud of my girl." Kabir said looking at her. After that she hugged me and and then Ayesha and all others.

She and Ayesha are on good terms now. It took time but now they are like mother daughter duo. I am happy for them.

"Congrats Riva." Someone came and congratulated Riva. I recognised him he was the one that of the graduates.

"Same to you karan." They both hugged. Kabir was about to object but I stopped him. He looked at me more like glared at me.

"Dad meet karan my bestfriend. And karan this is my dad and my mom." She introduced us. He looked a good boy.

"Karan do come at the party at our house." I invited him and I could feel kabir's eyes on me.

"Sure aunty." After that we all took our leave. Ayesha was going to her house and was gonna come at night. Riva and Avi were sitting at back seat.

"Dadda you know that I did my internship at Ayaan uncle's hospital. So he offered me a permanent placement there. So can I join? Also Karan is joining there too." Riva asked.

"But will you comfortable there. You know with veer and all." Avi asked riva and I could see how their moods changed.

"Dad, I will be fine. Ayaan uncle will be there. And moreover he won't be coming for two three years. So yeah." Riva said but I know how my ri was controlling her emotions.

"You can but no funny business with karan". Kabir said more like warned but he looked so funny.

"Daaad." Riva whined.

Me and Avi both laughed at them. Soon we reached at our house.

It was night time and everyone were here. Everyone were enjoying. Riva was with her friends and Kabir was with his colleagues and I was sitting with all my friends.

Soon a slow song started and many couples moved to the dance. Kabir asked me and we both started dancing.

"Thanks for being with me. I love you so much my wife." Kabir said.

"I love you too." I said kissed his cheek.

"This boy." Kabir whispered and i looked to the direction where he was seeing it was Karan and Riva dancing.

"Let them enjoy." But he didn't listened and went. He took hold of Riva's hand and started dancing. I smiled looking at them.

I am so happy that I have such an loving husband, beautiful daughter and my champ Avi. Thanks to 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙰𝙶𝚁𝙴𝙴𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃 that brought us together.
