Third person's pov

The bell rang signalling that it was time to go home. Children started coming out of the school with their backpacks and bottles. A girl of 8 year came outside and stood at the gate waiting for anyone to come and pick her.

A guard came and stood in front of her. She looked up to see him. "Beta , it's time to close the gates. Who will come to pick u up?"

She was about to answer him but at the same time a car came to a halt in front of the gate. It was a black colour Mercedes. A man who was in grey color tuxedo came out of the car. He moved fastly and sat on his knees and held his ear in front of the girl.

The girl moved her face to another side. He shifted to that side and again held his ear." Ri, princess I am sorry."

Riva didn't said anything."Baby I was in a important meeting and I really forgot the time. I am sorry this is last time. Pakka promise."

"You said that last time also dad. I will not talk to u this time. Katti." Riva walked towards the car and their bodyguard Sam, opened the door and picked her up and settled her on seat.

The guard was amused to see this scene. Kabir stood up a said sorry to him for being late and thanked him to care of her daughter. He sat in the car.

"Vo Ri baby I was thinking that the chocolates that I brought for u should I give it back. Because u r not talking to me." Kabir said.

"No. Give them to me." She snatched the chocolates from her dad's hand.

"Baby daddy is saying sorry. Please talk to me na. If u will not only talk to me then who will talk with me?" Kabir said making puppy dog faces.

She looked at her father to see him holding ears and looking sad. She jumped on her dad's lap and sat their and then hugged him and he hugged her back.

"This is last time. If u will be late again then I will go to mumma." Riva said innocently.

"Riva." Kabir shouted and hugged her tightly. Tears formed in his eyes.

Riva pulled out of the hug and saw tears in his dad's eyes. She wiped the tears and kissed his cheek.

"Sorry dadda. I will not go anywhere leaving you. I love you na." She said looking lovingly at him.

"It's ok baby. But next time don't say such things. If u leave me, i will die. I have no one other than u." Kabir said emotionally.

"Dadda, ishi maasi told me die is bad word. Don't say it." Riva said.

"Ok my baccha."

After that Kabir took Riva with her to an amusement park. Both of them enjoyed whole day. They sat on many rides and won many prizes in various games. They watched the sunset before going home.

As they reached their mansion, Riva opened the car door and ran inside the house with her big teddy bear which they won in a game.

Kabir picked her bag and bottle and came inside the house to see her daughter struggling with the door. He opened it and she ran inside .

"Arre how come this big teddy bear is moving and where is my ri?". Ishita said as she came in the hall.

"Maasi I am here." Said riva after putting her teddy on the sofa. She hugged ishita and kissed her cheek.

"Who gave u this Teddy?" Ishita asked Riva.

"Dadda won it in the shooting game. U know....". And then she started narrating all her activities which she did today. Ishita picked her up and took her in her room to change her dress.

Kabir smiled seeing his daughter happy.

"Omg!!! Bhai u r smiling." Said vivaan who came from the office to see his Bhai smiling.

"So what? Is it wrong to smile." Kabir asked him.

"It's not wrong. It's just that you smile rarely. So what's the reason for this smile?" Asked vivaan after sitting on one of the sofa.

Kabir told him what happened.

"Chachu." Shouted Ri came out of her and hugged her chachu.

"Rivu." Vivaan too shouted like her in baby voice.

After having a chitchat all of them sat together for dinner and had dinner. Ishita helped riva in-between.

They all went to their room.

Kabir's pov

I entered inside my room and switched on the lights. A large photo of love of my life Ayesha was hanging on the wall.

"I miss you Ayeshu. Our daughter ri, she is just like u. I see u in her. Please come back na. You knew that I can't live without u then also u left me. Why did you leave me? I loved u so much." Kabir said looking at her wife's photo. Tears were flowing from his eyes.

Suddenly there was knock on the door. He wiped away his tears and stood up.

"Come in." He said.

Ri entered inside the room in nightdress with a small stuff panda in her hand gifted by her mom on her 5th birthday.

"Ri, baby what happened?"

"Dadda I can't sleep in my room. So can I and my panda sleep with u?" asked ri with an innocent face.

Kabir picked her daughter and laid on the bed with her in his arms. He sung lullaby for her daughter.

And then both of them slept.

It was morning time and every was having breakfast on the table.

"Ri, what gift u want on ur birthday this time?" Asked Kabir to her daughter whose birthday was coming in next week.

"What I will ask u will give me?" asked ri.

"Yes baby. Now tell me what u want?" Asked Kabir who was looking at her daughter.

"I want a mom." Told ri.
