Elise and Draco quickly faded into a schedule that worked out for their family. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday Elise would wake up at six A.M. To feed the babies change them, and play with them. The Malfoy couple soon realized that the twins were growing up faster than regular babies would, so the children were now the size and maturity of three-year-olds, but technically were still only a few months into their life.
In their schedule, Draco would wake up at six A.M. To feed, change, and play with the twins every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. And Elise would do the same for every other day.
"Should we wake up daddy?" The little boy Elise and Draco agreed to name a couple of months ago, Ajax, asks Elise on a Monday spring morning.
"We just spray water at him!" The little girl Elise and Draco agreed to name Atlee says, jumping up and down with excitement.
Elise laughs at her pride and joy. "You want to splash daddy awake?" She asks already knowing their answer.
"Yeah!" They both yell and they run up to the door to get ready to dash to Elise and Draco's room.
"Okay, just first we have to sneak downstairs, grab a cup of water and sneak back upstairs and spray him." they both jump with more excitement bubbling. "You ready?" She asks and they get more restless to get their plan going. "Set, go," as soon as she says 'go' she opens the door and they sprint downstairs, racing each other.
"It's always a race between those two." She rolls her eyes with a smile and follows them downstairs.
"Mommy, mommy, hurry up! We just can't reach the cups!" Atlee says, reaching her hands towards the cupboard with the cups in it, proving she can't reach it.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Elise laughs and once she reached the kitchen she gets two plastic cups, just in case they drop the cups it won't break, and fills them up halfway.
"I want the pink one!" Atlee yells jumping up and down.
"I want the yellow one!" Ajax cries out, and Elise kneels down to his level.
"Sweetheart, you can have the yellow one and Atlee can have the pink one. It's okay." She hugs him, and he quickly wipes his face and waits to be handed the yellow cup of water, and their plan is in effect.
The twins race up the stairs, one hand on the wall to steady them while going to the stairs and the other holding the cup. "I'm going to win!" Atlee taunts her brother.
"No!" Ajax whines. "I want to win!" and tries to go faster. Though he was 25 seconds older than her, Atlee liked to take charge, like her mother.
"I win!" Atlee announces her triumph.
"Aw!" Ajax whines, and Elise sits on the ground and brings him into her chest, and he doesn't turn her down for a hug or cuddle.
"You gotta be quiet so we can get daddy awake remember? Should we go spray dad?" She asks.
He smiles and jumps out if her arms. "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" And he runs down the hall to their bedroom door and Elise and Atlee follow close behind.
Elise opens the door slowly not to wake him, and once the door is opened wide enough for the twins to slip through they run to Draco's side of the bed and toss their cups at his face.
"Oh!" Elise runs to the twins just as it happens and Draco gasps awake.
"Ow!" He yells.
Elise laughs. "Sorry, I didn't know they were going to throw the cups too."
Draco laughs, his eyes are closed and he blows out air with his lips almost shut to get the water out, then he wipes his eyes so he can open them.
"Good morning." He laughs and the twins jump into his lap.
"We wanted to wake you up daddy! And weโso we just threwd the water at your face!" Ajax laughs like it was the best thing ever.
"And was it cold for you daddy?" Atlee asks, you could hear the hope in her voice that it was cold.
"Pretty cold," Draco nodded and wipes more water from his face.
Ajax and Atlee laugh and jump onto Draco's chest knocking him down so he is laying down in the bed now.
"Got you! Got you!" Atlee starts chanting.
"Got you! Got you! Got you!" Ajax copies her and soon they are dancing and jumping around Draco.
Elise laughs and lays down next to Draco, who puts his arm around her shoulders, careful of her sore arm that was healed, but was still a bit painful. He pulls her into his side and they cuddle together as the twins jump and yell.

School with the twins was definitely a challenge considering their small attention span, so, though it was allowed sometimes, Elise and Draco had to miss some class time to keep their lives on track.
The most chaotic class was the Baby Assignment class for sure, a bunch of three-year-olds with no desire to listen all together in one room in a class for adults isn't the best idea, screaming, yelling, and crying were an everyday thing in that class. Elise didn't know how Mr. Bridging continued to teach with such a positive spirit every day, but he did, and she respected his patience.
In the Malfoy's day-to-day schedule, they decided to go on walks as a whole family together. Elise and Malfoy had different classes throughout the day, so, they would take the child who would fuss the least with each parent and go to classes, so they decided a family walk would be a good idea.
"Mommy! Mommy! Watch this!" Ajax jumps on a rock than when Elise is watching, jumps off and lands on his feet and raises his arms up with a big finish. "Tada! Did you see my trick mommy!?" He runs up to Elise and hugs her.
"I did! You are so good," She smiles at the blonde boy hugging her.
"Daddy! Daddy did you see?!" Ajax runs to Draco.
"I did see," Draco says smiling brightly. He soon picks up Ajax.
"I can do a better trick!" Atlee taunts her brother.
Elise rolls her eyes but laughs at her daughter, running away from her then attempts to do a cartwheel but doesn't straighten her legs enough and tumbles down. Crying in frustration, Elise runs to her aid. Draco grabs Ajax's hand and runs to Atlee close behind.
"I can tell you've been practicing Atlee, you are doing so good." Elise cups Atlee's face in her hands, Atlee shakes her head. "Hey. Look at me," Elise tilts Atlee's chin so her eyes met with hers. "Practice makes perfect, I promise you. And daddy and I are here to help you." Draco nods in assurance as he sets Ajax down and kneels next to Elise.
"I can't do it." Atlee cries into Elise's shoulder. Draco puts and arm on her back and rubs comforting circles.
"Yes you can." Elise tells her. "The only thing stopping you is you, Atlee." Elise tries to sooth her but she continues to cry.
Elise and Draco exchange glances, Draco nods to her, and Elise waits for what he will do.
Draco takes Atlee into his arms and cables her, as if she was still his little baby daughter. "How about we make a deal." Draco smiles at Elise in a mischievous manor. Atlee glance up from hiding her face in his cheat and is suddenly interested in what her father is about to say. "How about, a duel. A cartwheeling duel. Between you and me." He smiles at her.
She laughs. "You can't do a cartwheel daddy!" She laughs even harder at the silky works her father just spoke to her.
He gasps, "I can to!" He laughs.
"I'll beat daddy! I will! I will!" She jumps out of his lap and runs.
Elise and Draco laugh and watch Atlee do a cartwheel with no mistakes. She lands it with hands up in a finishing pose and runs to give Draco a hug.
Elise blinks in surprise and stares at Draco. He kisses Atlee on the head. "Well done darling. You did good." He smiles into her hair, then looks up to Elise, smiling with winning pride.
Elise smiles and kisses him on the cheek, he takes his turn to blink in surprise, as she takes Ajax's hand and begins to walk back to the school.
