we arrived at home and was greeted by our parents we greeted them back and headed to our rooms to pack since our parents told us and we'll probably go tomorrow at 5, and by seeing our house most of the things are already at their boxes, wow mom and dad did this so fast i said in my head, well maybe they asked for help.

i wore my headphones and began listening to my comfort music 'You belong with me' as i pack my clothes and placing it on my luggage.

"But she wears short skirts
I wear T-shirts
She's Cheer Captain, and I'm on the bleachers

i began singing as if i'm in a tour with taylor, anywho i continued packing my clothes.

"gosh, i need another luggage for this" i stood up from the ground before grabbing the other luggage next to my drawer.

i took my headphones of and placed them on my drawer before flopping myself on my bed who's only the mattress, well i'll definitely have a good sleep later without my pillow, comforter and so on.

"briar!" i heard someone shouted my name "what!" i yelled back, they opened my door "where's my jersey jacket?" parker asked, i sat up hurriedly "oh my god, i'm dizzy hold on..." i held my head before speaking again "your what?" i faced him.

"my jersey jacket, have you seen it?" he asked, "stupid, you're wearing it" i scoffed before laying my head back "oh yeah.. hehe sorry briar" he closes the door.

the next day 𓇼𖦹

my alarm started ringing, i yawned before pressing it "gosh i don't wanna get up!" i exclaimed before fixing my position and staring at the ceiling before standing up "you can do this, briar. but no, i'm gonna make new friends again no, no i hate that, then they'll probably bully me? wait what! what am i thinking, forget it" i groaned in annoyance before standing up, going to my bathroom to get ready.

"mom she's talking again!" parker yelled from a far, "parker, stop it, honey" their mom yelled back. when everyone is already done getting ready we head outside, the boys putting our luggages in the back of the car, while me and mom had to bring the small bags.

he closes the back "well, that's all the bags and luggages" dad sighed deeply before speaking again, "alright now the boxes" he ordered as all of us went back inside, "gosh, this is tiring than hockey practice" parker sighed before going inside.

we finished and headed inside the car as dad began starting the car, he took a quick glance at the rear view mirror to check the truck behind us. "alright, they're in, riverside here we come!" he exclaimed before starting the car's engine, i sighed and laid my elbow on the window and began looking outside,
dad began driving, the truck tailing behind us.

dad said we're halfway to riverside a while ago, oliver decides to break the silence ones again "why are we suddenly moving out anyway, is there a reason?" he asked as he stopped leaning against the chair. mom sighed deeply before responding to his question "there's no reason, i just think it would be a better option" she turns to look at them.

oliver nodded slightly before leaning back "oh okay" he retorted, "okay, we are 10 minutes away now i hope your butts aren't numb yet" he chuckled, "mines still okay" parker answered which made me giggle softly.

10 mins later 𓇼𖦹

"alright paynes, we're here in riverside" dad asserted before looking at the house we are staying "not bad" i said continuely looking at the house, "okay! let's get unpacking so that tomorrow we'll be unpacking lesser things" mom demanded as all of us went to the back to grab our luggages and then we headed inside to leave them there.

as we do our thing we put our stuffs inside suddenly a bunch of teenagers came, well i think they're probably my age or oliver's i don't know but they went to us. "hey, you must be the paynes" one handsome-looking guy asked, "uh yeah that's us" i replied before looking at oliver.

"i'm jax, this is jonathan" he glance at the guy beside "hey" jonathan waved his hand at us, i smiled and waved back "well.. this is our routine whenever there's a new town member, so ya'll dig a quick look at riverside?" jax questioned, both me and oliver turned to eachother before answering.

"we would love to, our parents wouldn't mind us being gone for about minutes, sooo why not" i shrugged, "yeah she's right, hey parker mind covering for us while we're gone?" he asked. "oh yeah sure i'll cover for the both of you, like i always do" he said sarcastically before rolling his eyes and turned around afterwards.

"alright! let's go" jonathan exclaimed before the four of us started walking "gosh sorry for being rude, we haven't introduce ourselves yet, i'm briar and this is my older brother" oliver answered "oliver."

"cool, anyway.. this spot is where most kooks stay" he says as he pointed since it's kind of far, "kooks?" i asked while furrowing my brows. "kooks and pogues, technically you guys are pogues like us" jonathan explained "well you see kooks are more wealthier that us pogues, atleast us pogues are more tougher than those kooks" jonathan laughes.

"i'm sorry but.. for real? kooks and pogues, are we in outer banks, i thought this is riverside" i continued asking since i couldn't believe what they had said. the two began laughing which made the two of us look at them weirdly, "well you can say it like that" jax chuckled.

"i mean other towns are also like this, well maybe some" jax blurted, "anywho.. would you look at that one of the pogues are near there, colton! kaya! over here" he yelled before waving his hand, which made the two turned around and immediately walked to them.

"hey!" the girl named kaya exclaimed, "this must be the new town members, "hi, i'm colton welcome to pogue life" he smiled, "well i guess we are known here.." oliver said, "silly of course you guys are, well except for the kooks they don't know ya'll" kaya added before smiling.

"what are you two waiting for? go show them around our place" she demanded before she started walking "sorry in advance that's how she is" colton apologized "shut up, colton" kaya turned around to face her brother before rolling her eyes, "they're like us" oliver whispered, "couldn't agree with you" i whispered back.
