What if Andy wouldn't had replaced Y/n or Woody?

What if the trio gets along from the start?

Andy was playing with his toys. The boy was excited today, it was his birthday, well not really. His mother decided to celebrate Andy's birthday a week before they move away. "Come on Woody, Y/n!" called Andy to his cowboy doll and his first doll, while taking the two downstairs. Andy skipped down the stairs as Woody and Y/n were sliding down the stair fence. Andy caught the both in the air and took them to the living room.

You got a friend in me

Andy's laughter filled the living room as he played with the two dolls. He loved Woody and Y/n, they were his everything.

Yeah you got a friend in me

Andy looked at the decorations his mother set up for his birthday. "Can they stay on until we move?" the birthday kid asked it's mother.

"Of course honey, go get Molly. Your friends are going to be here soon" Andy's mother told him.

Without saying a word, Andy took Woody and Y/n and skipped upstairs to his room only to throw Woody and Y/n on his bed then closing the door behind him.

After the footsteps of the child faints, the toys come to live. Woody sat up and dusted himself off. He stayed on the bed as Y/n jumped down from the bed only to meet slinky. "Hey Y/n, wanna play checker?" Slinky asked as he pulled a checker board.

"Not now Slinky-" "Alright I'm gonna be black then"

"slinky, gather everyone together for a staff meeting, now. I have some bad news" Y/n said as Slinky shouted:"BAD NEWS?!" wich made the rest of the toys stop in their tracks.

Y/n walked in the middle of room clapping in their hands. "Attention everyone! There is no need to be worried, I would like you all to gather for a meeting, we have a lot to discuss. Please be so kind to show up at the usual meeting place, thank you" the toys were always amazed by the way Y/n spoke to them all, Woody on the other hand...

Was difficult to talk to sometimes..

Once Y/n arrived at the pedestal they didn't saw their clipboard. Searching for their clipboard they found it a few meters away from them. "Okay who put my clipboard there?" Y/n asked as they went to pick it up only to find Rex the green dinosaur jumping in front of them and roaring at Y/n. "Hey Rex how's it going?" Y/n asked as with a smile as they picked up the clipboard and skipping through it.

"Did I scare you? Come on be honest, we're you scared? " Rex asked while Y/n was walking back to the pedestal.

"You almost had me" Y/n said playfully arriving back at the pedestal and took the microphone from the karaoke toy.

Everyone was gathered in front of Y/n only to wait what they has to say.

"Test, test, 1 2 3, is everyone hearing me? You on the shelfs can you hear me?" Y/n called out to the toys on the shelf. They nodded and Y/n continued.

They skipped through the notes on their clipboard quick then looked up to their friends. "Okay um first step, has everyone found a moving partner?" Y/n asked the gang.

"Are you serious?" the pink money pig bank asked.

"Are we supposed to have one yet?" Rex was the next to ask a question.

"Do we have to hold hands?" Mr. Potato asked plugging his arm off while holding it up a bit with a smug smirk on his face.

"Ya'll think this is funny, we only got one week left till moving and I don't want a toy to be left behind. If you don't have one, get one" Y/n said sounding hurt before continuing.

"Alright, next. Oh yeah a reminder note here. Andy's birthday party was moved for today. Okay next we have-"

"WHAT?!" the gang shouted.

"What do you mean Andy's birthday is today? His birthday is next week!" Rex said with a hint of panic in his voice.

"What is going on down there? Are ya losing ya'll marbles?" Hamm said looking at Y/n.

"I guess Andy's mother wanted to celebrate Andy's birthday before they move" Y/n said. "I'm not worried, you shouldn't be worried" they said as Mr. Potato took a step forward.

"As Andy's favorite toy I wouldn't be worried too" Mr. Potato head said, leaving Y/n with a hurt expression.

"Hey hey, keep calm potato head. If Y/n said it's alright then it's true" Slinky said as Mr. Potato head turned to Mr. Spell and plugging his own mouth and touching it there where his butt would be in a manner of "kiss my ass"

"Come on guys, we go through this every Christmas and birthday" Y/n said trying to comfort them all, but it mostly came to no avail.

"But what if he gets another dinosaur? A mean one? I don't want to be replaced" Rex said.

"Hey no one is getting replaced. This Andy we are talking about, we are here for Andy when he needs us. It doesn't matter how much we are getting played with" Y/n explained, sounding like a parent, trying to assure them that nobody is going get replaced.

"Birthday presents on 12 o'clock!" Hamm said.

"Alright guys..." Y/n trailed off walking to Sarge. "Commander, we got a code red"

"You heard them soldiers! We got a code red! " the head leader, Sarge called out and the other soldier went out of the room with a kind of baby phone to keep Y/n and the others on track.

"Alright who is hungry?" Andy's mother asked as other kids ran around the house.

Sarge and his men stopped dead in their tracks as Andy's mom came out of the kitchen stepping on one of the soldiers wich left a crack noice.

"Ugh, I thought I cleaned them a up" she said pushing them with her feet away then made her way to the living room where the kids are.

The soldiers came back to live and made their way to their position. Except one. The one who got stepped on.

"Go on, leave me behind" the soldier said.

"A good soldier never gets left behind" Sarge said as he picked the soldier up and making his way to spot where they have to be.

They made right on time before kids came running because they were casing a ball.

°meanwhile with Y/n and the others°

The gang gathered around Y/n on the ground while Woody was sitting on the bed next to Y/n, who was turning the Babyphone on.

"Where are they? Shouldn't they be their by now? What's taking them so long?" Rex asked concerned.

"no need to worry, they are the best, and wich that I mean it" Woody said as he continued. "So what do you think what Andy will get?"

"I hope another dinosaur! So I will not be the only one!" Rex said only to gasp at his own words. "What if it replaces me?!" Rex complained.

"Nobody will be replaced Rex, if a new toy comes here then we will welcome them in Andy's room" Y/n said, sounding like a parent trying to calm their child.

Sarge liked trough his jumelles to see the presents. "Here they are" he said as he gave the others the signal to turn the babyphone on.

"Mother bird, mother bird over" Sarge said as Woody shushed the other toys on his side. "Andy is begging to unpack the presents"

"We got..." Sarge trailed off for sec making the other toys nervous.

"We got a lunchbox, I repeat we got a lunchbox" Sarge said.

"A lunchbox?" Y/n asked in disbelief.

"A lunchbox" Mr. Potato head said.

"For lunch" Slinky said.

"The second present is..bed sheets" Sarge said as Mr. Potato said:"Who invited that kid?"

A few moments later Sarge informed Y/n that they got to the last present now.

"Okay now we have the last present" Sarge informed. "It's a big it's.." he trailed off making the toys anxious. "It's game! It's battle ship!" he cheered as the other toys cheered as well.

"Mission complete. We move back" Sarge said  as a soldier turned the babyphone off but he should have let it turned on becasue...

°With Y/n and the others°

"See? I told ya'll not to be worried" Y/n said with a smile and sitting cross legged looking at their friends.

"You are always right Y/n" Slinky said with a smile.

°Back with Sarge and his men°

"Wait a minute" Andy's mom said taking Sarge by surprise and turning to Andy's mom. "What do we have here?" she said as Sarge looked trough his jumelles again to see a hidden present in Andy's mothers arms.

"STOP! Turn it back on immediately!" Sarge ordered his men and they did.

"Mother bird over! Andy's mom had a hidden present! Andy opens it. He is very excited" Sarge said making Y/n nervous.

"The pakete is huge. I can't see anything. I can't see anything" Sarge said as Mr. Potato made some prayers.

"It's a..." Sarge trailed off as Andy held the hidden present in the air. The other toys on the other line became anxious since Sarge didn't continue.

"It's a what? What is it??" Rex said wanting to know what it is. He shook the nightstand where the babyphone was on and it fell down taking Woody by surprise as it's battery fell out.

"Oh no!" Rex winced.

"You stupid reptile!" Mr. Potato said.

"Now we will never know what it is" Hamm complained.

The toys on the ground were struggling to pit the battery's back in place as Woody tried to tell how they should be placed in. After he had enough he jumped down from the bed and placed the battery's back in place on to hear from Sarge:" Andy is coming!"

"Andy is coming! Go back on your places!" Woody called out as the toys went back their where Andy's had left them.

"Where is my ear?!" Mr. Potato shouted.

A few moments later they all went liveless as the kids stormed inside the room with the hidden present in Andy's hands.

Andy pushed Woody off the bed as he placed the hidden present on his bed, while picking up Y/n.

"His space ship landed here! And Y/n will greet him!" Andy said he placed the toy on his bed. "Alright who wants to play some games!" Andy's mom called from downstairs which got the kids attention.

"Their are cool prices!" she said afterwards as the kids ran out of the room cheering amd closing the door behind them.

The toys came back to live slowly to be sure that the cost is clear. They looked around while walking to the bed where Woody and Y/n are always on." Okay cost is clear" one toy said.

"Hey Woody? Y/n? Who is that with you up there?" Rex asked looking up at the bed.

Woody came out from under the groaning.

"Woody? What are you doing under the bed?" Slinky asked.
"Uh, nothing. Nothing. I guess Andy was just a bit excited" Woody said as he stood up and dusted himself off and fixing his hat. "It was all just a mistake"

"Yeah that mistake is sitting by your spot" Mr. Potato said which caused Rex to freak out.

"Ah! Did you got replaced?!"  Rex said wich panic.

"Hey, what did Y/n tell you earlier? No one is getting replaced" Woody said and the other toys didn't seem to buy it.

"No one is getting replaced now let's be polite and give that whoever it is a nice welcome in Andy's room" Woody said as he climbed up the bed only to see a new toy on his own spot wich took Woody by surprise. Y/n was under the 'ship' as Andy liked to call it, so they were out of sight.

The new toy was a space ranger. The space toy started to move and Woody gulped hiding a bit from the space toy.

The space toy pressed a small red button on his suit. "Buzz Lightyear to Star Command. Star Command do you reach me?" he asked with confusion. "Why won't they answer?" he asked as he looked around as his eyes landed on his so called space ship. "My ship!" he called out and ran to forward to it.

"Blasts! It will take weeks to repear this!" he said as he opened his log. "Buzz Lightyear mission log four zero seven two. My ship landed on sector twelve. I landed on a strange planet" he said as he looked around. "the impact must hurted hyperspeed" he then jumped up and down on the bed a bit.

"the train is unstable" he said as then poked the sticker on his arm. "There are no signs that the air is breathable and there are no sign living-" Buzz was then cut off by Woody who came in by the side of Buzz's view. "Hello!" Woody said with a smile.

Buzz freaked out and jumped a bit then adjusting then I defending stance with his 'laser' pointed on Woody.

"Woah, woah, woah! Did I fright you? Sorry didn't mean to" he said then continued. "Howdy! I'm Woody and this is Andy's room" he explained as he moved and Buzz went around him. "That's all I wanted to say and also there has been a little of mixup. This is my bed spot" Woody said as Buzz's eyes landed on Woody star where 'Sheriff' is written on.

"I'm Buzz Lightyear space ranger, universe protector. My ship landed here by mistake" Buzz introduced himself to Woody and explained the situation.

"Yes it is a mistake. This bed here is mine and Y/n's spot" Woody said as Buzz walked to the edge of the bed with Woody following.

"I need to repear my super-booster...do ya'll have crystal usual?" Buzz said walking back to his ship. "Well you see we got double A's" Woody said as Buzz turned around then with a gasp.

"Watch out!" Buzz said tackling Woody down on the bed point his 'laser' in the direction where the novice came from. "Halt! Who's there?" Buzz asked as Rex and Slinky were see with their hands up.

"We're friends! We're friends" Rex explained

"Do you know these live forms?" Buzz asked Woody. "Yes these are Andy's toys" Y/n responded for Woody, coming out from under the box, as Buzz then stood up. "Alright then" he said walking to the toys

"I'm Buzz Lightyear, I come in peace" Buzz said as Rex came forward. "I'm so glad your not another dinosaur!" he said with excitement and relief as he shook Buzz's hand.

"Alright, thank you all for your kind welcomes" Buzz said spreading his arms. "Hey, what does that button do?" Rex asked.

(I'm honest this line reminded me of:"Ohhh~ What does this button do?" "Please, please do not push the button-")

"I show you" Buzz said as he pressed the read little button next to the green one as a then a little weird sound was heard with the following Text then:"Buzz Lightyear to the rescue" wich left the other toys in awe.

"Woody got something like that but his is a pull string" Slinky said. "And that Woody's voice box sounds old" Mr. Potato head said.

"So where are you from? Singapore? Hong Kong?" Hamm joined in then.

"We, no. Actually, I'm stationed up in the Gamma Quadrant of Sector Four. As a member of the elite Universe protection Unit of the Space Ranger Corps, I protect the galaxy from the threat of invasion from the Evil Empeor Zurg, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance" Buzz explained.

"Oh really? I'm from Playskool" Mr. Potato said pointing at himself. "And I'm from Mattel. Well, I'm not really from Mattel. I'm actually from a smaller company that was purchased in a leveraged buyout" Rex said leaving Buzz with a confused look on his face.

"You'd think they'd never seen a new toy before" Woody said walking next to Bo Peep. "Well, sure. Look at him. He's got more gadgets on him than a Swiss Army Knife" Bo said as Slinky pressed the laser button on Buzz's arm. "Please be careful, you don't want to be in the way when my laser goes off" Buzz said.

"Say Bo, how to you know about the gadgets on a Swiss Army Knife?" Y/n asked, looking at the female.

Bo just looked away, saying nothing.

"Hey a Lazer! How come you don't have a laser, Woody?" Mr. Potato asked the cowboy doll.

"It's not a laser! It's a...Its a light bulb that blinks" Wodly9 explained but the others doesn't seem to buy it.

"What with him?" Hamm asked. "Laser envy" Mr. Potato answered.

Y/n decided to walk up to Buzz, wanting to know what got the other stuck in awe.

"Alright that's enough!" Woody said walking next to Buzz "Look, we're all very impressed with Andy's new toy" Woody said gesturing to Buzz who is taken aback boy the word 'toy'

"Toy?" Buzz asked. "T-O-Y. toy!" Woody said turning to Buzz.

"Excuse me, I think the word you're searching for is"'Space Ranger'" Buzz corrected Woody." The word im searching for I can't say because there's preschool toys present" Woddy said Mr. Potato putted his hands on his...hips? "Gettin' kinda tense, aren't ya?" he said with a smirk on his face.

"Oh uh, Mr. Lightyear, now, I'm curious. What does a Space Ranger actually do?" Rex asked Buzz. "He's not a Space Ranger!" Woddy said Buzz was actually about to explain Rex what Space Ranger actually do but couldn't 'cause Woody continued talking.

"He doesn't fight evil or, or shoot lasers or fly!" Woody finsihed as Buzz cut in. "Exuse me" he said as he pressed a round red button on his suit wich caused wings to pop up making the others staring in awe.

"Oh, impressive wingspan! Very good!" Hamm said.

"Oh, what? What? These are plastic. He can't fly!" Woody said he shook Buzz's wings causing Buzz to lose his balance a bit, Y/n came to his side helping him gain his balance back. He looked at Y/n, gave them a mod as a thanks.
"They are a trillium-carbonic alloy, and I can fly" Buzz explain backing away from Woody.

"No, you can't" Woody said.

"Yes, I can" Buzz said sounding hopeful that he can actually fly.

"You can't"

"Can"

"Can't, can't, can't" Woody poked Buzz's helmet.

"I tell you, I could fly around this room with my eyes closed!" Buzz challenges Woody.

"OK, then, Mr. Light Beer, prove it" Woody said not buying it.

"All right, then, I will" Buzz said walking past Woody and towards the edge of the bed. "Stand back, everyone!" he gestured to the toys so they are not in the way. Woody just crossed his arms and shook his head with a smirk on his face.

Y/n had to help Wheezy on the shelf, getting dust away which bothered the broken Pinguin.

Buzz climbed up that bed foot top then closing eyes and standing there with a T-Pose before saying:"To Infinity and beyond!" and jumping down and jumping in the air from a ball on the ground. He landed on a small red car wich started to drive forward and doing the looping wich caused Buzz at the end to be boosted int he air and stuck on a plane toy at the celling and 'flying' around in circles.
