Hank, December 2020

"Trust you??? You'd rather believe anyone, especially that HORRIBLE man, but me!" -Hank watched with pure horror the argument, on one hand there was Caroline with tremendous fury she could hit somebody and knock that person down, although after all they did to the young girl it was understandable, and on the other hand there was Catherine, crying inconsolably as William tried to calm her down. β€”Cece, my baby, please let me explaiβ€”STOP CALLING ME THAT! You know how much i hate you use that stupid nickname and try to defend yourselvesβ€”.

Caroline's maternal family, along with Hank and Helen watched the tremendous disaster that formed when all they tried to do is try a reconciliation between parents and daughter. Hank could notice a staring at him, it was Pippa and her husband staring at him angrily, but before he could say anything, Caroline's tears burst out. -WHY??? Just why?? Why do you all want to mend things as nothing happened when all the harm has been done??-.

The young girl trembled every time she spoke and got worse and worse, if there was something that Caroline was especially bad at was speaking in public, even with her family, friends, teachers, definitely the whole situation was taking its toll on the poor girl, since from one moment to another she began to lack the air of the terrible anxiety she was having. Catherine, immediately noticed it and as she could, she wiped her tears and approached her firstborn, trying to hug her, or at least touch her and calm her nerves, but Caroline (with the terrible distrust she had after her famous as she calls it "the incident") pushed her mother away from her and continued with her screams. -I hate you! I HATE YOU BOTH!! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!!! - Caroline ran away when she couldn't stand her nerves anymore, moving away from her grandparents' house - CAROLINE!! Please honey, come back!!- Her parents both started running, trying to catch her.

Meanwhile, in the Middleton's' home silence reigned. Alizee (James' fiancΓ©e) took the children to another room far enough away so that they would not hear the fight that was forming every second. The others were sitting at the table, each looking at their dinner plate that they had not even finished. No one dared to say anything, they just let the silence run its course. Hank was devastated, the little girl he saw growing up before his eyes, the little girl who longed so much to have at least a second of attention from her parents, had exploded from the anger she had accumulated for so many years. He had to have realized that it was all a bad idea from the beginning to make them forcibly reconcile in front of everyone. Everyone thought it would be a good idea, except Pippa.

Everyone was in their mind until James dared to break the ice β€”We really screwed it up this time...β€”Everyone turned, nobody said anything but in their minds, they were agreeing with the comment he made, but Pippa wasn't happy β€”You're happy, aren't you? After how she was raised and after everything that idiot did to her....-She got up from the table and went to see the children and Alizee, followed by her husband, it had already been half an hour since what happened.

Hank's mind became so disconnected from time that when he realised, he was already at home, at his desk, as he continued to write the third letter to Caroline. He was more than clear that he wanted to finish the fifteen letters until at least the thirteenth birthday of the young girl. He decided to pick up the letter where he left off...

(Continuation of the letter - 2009)

[-Many times we make mistakes throughout our lives, and some of those times we drag people to be victims of it. Even if I would rather not sound cruel, I will always consider horrible the way your family raised you, at least the first 6 years of your life. As sad as this sounds, I think the time has come to talk about what you are trying to avoid, that even if you do not like it, you know that deep down it is necessary.

[-Now we head to November, in which during these months your parents began to "represent" the monarchy in official acts and thus create a good image. While they went about their business, you stayed with both parts of your grandparents, depending on the days, but mostly with your maternal family. On weekends, you stayed with your parents, although many times they invited their friends to keep up with them. I think the most you spent with them were at lunch, dinner and a little while before bed. But before we turn to that topic, there is another one that we will now have to talk about.-]

[-And it is about Robert.-]

[-Do you remember that at the beginning of the letter I told you that he was serious at your baptism?
Well, apparently your mother told me a story about that, and it also has to do with one of those weekends ...-]

Update: This chapter and the next one will be updated in the next days. Stay tuned!

Hello! I know that the chapter is incomplete and that I have practically been missing from here since January (you will probably kill me for that) but I am back. At the moment, I am still making some small changes because I want the story to be read well and that you can enjoy it as you deserve since you have been waiting for many months, and honestly i want to thank you all very much for the support and above all, interest you have. The chapter in itself it is not finished since as I said, I am making some arrangements, but I would rather not make you wait any longer since I am excited above all to see your reactions to reading the story, so I have decided to make a small spoiler of the next chapter. I know it's not much, but I think with this you can get an idea of how this whole story will be treated.

Thank you all very much, and I promise that I will return with the complete chapter in a few days.πŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ
