The moment i stepped foot in the yard , rajah was sitting outside with imani . I couldn't tell what they were doing at first , but as i got closer they were both playing freefire.

Imani looks up and i gave her a hint to go inside and she did so. I took her seat next to rajah but he didn't say anything to me .

So i knew this would be the time to tell him before him find out .

" my boss is planning to send me to new york fi work ". I said and bit the inside of my cheek , god know weh him wudda tell me right now .

The game had paused and he looks down on the floor, as if side eye wasn't a thing . He then made eye contact with me and i could see the ignorance in his eyes.

" weh yuh mean guh new york? Yuh nuh pregnant, bredda move from fucking yaso yer " he says and tried to get up.

" ano my say, mi caa fucking dash weh di big opportunity weh mi get " i pleaded but that only made the situation worse at hand.

Rajah spins around and grip my neck pulling me from the seat . He didn't use much force to hurt me , but right now unda mi a flood out .

I laid my head ontop of his chest while he slept. We were watching Damsel on Netflix ( check it out) and he fell asleep leaving me to watch it by myself.

His phone had light up with a notification so i looked over and saw crawsis gyal🖕🏾 had sent a message.

I didn't have his password so i placed the phone in its position. Moments later i was back to watching the movie when the phone began to vibrate rapidly.

She was calling him.

I grabbed the phone and slid from under him going to the bathroom. Closing the door i answered the call placing it to my ears .

" doh fuck yuh bloodclaat self yer , yuh affi mind dah baby yah an mi nah ask yuh. Matter a fact court day a Wednesday " she says .

And my breath hitched .... Annakay still kept in contact with him? Thought he didn't want her around him anymore .

But i couldn't say anything due to a baby being in the position of their old relationship and i would never try to get rid of a child from their father.

And i didn't even open my mouth to breath . I quickly hung up the call and place the phone in my dress pocket slowly opening the door.

Glancing at rajah who was fast asleep, i turned around to close the door and then spin around seeing him wide awake starring at me .

" weh yuh guh?" He asked searching around for his phone . I didn't answer but walked pass him placing the phone behind the pillow.

" it did a ring ?" He asked after finding it under the pillow. I shrugged laying on the opposite side of the bed .

He rolled his eyes and open the phone sending a voice note .

" bredda stop fucking call an text mhi phone, how yuh even get dah number yah? Send di fucking Dna come gimmi dat yuh fi do boh court " he says and shut the phone off throwing it on the bed .

Getting off the bed , he walks around my side pulling me to the edge of the bed . Placing a pillow under my back so i didn't feel pressured on my stomach.

" when yah keep di baby shower?" He asked kissing my lips to my neck .

" i don't know " i told him cause i was new to this first mother stuff, suh mi nav a clue .

" well mi ago plan something real soon nuh worry " he smiled and honestly him juss mek mi wah gi him 40 more kids every time .

" yuh hungry? " he asked and i nodded.

" guh bade an get dressed mek wi guh devon house an get kfc " he smiles and i hurried into the shower.

After getting the ice cream, we head to the nearest kfc which was close by . Slowly licking the ice cream off mu finger rajah had his eyes watching my every move .

" babes....nuh wah lick me too?" He laughs and i playfully hit his shoulder " stop run joke nuh " .

We drove up to the window and began to collect our order but the lady kept starring at rajah with a big smile.

" omg!!! Rajah wild ! " she squeaks and began to record him , he didn't mind but i didn't want the camera light all up inna mi face .

The lady then hands us the food and we drove away.

" yah come a video shoot wid me tomorrow?" He asked driving down to the gas station.

" yeah juss tell me wah time an mi will meet yuh " i hummed and he gave me a side eye.

" weh yuh mean by meet me ? Wi nah leff out di same time?" He asked suspiciously making a turn into the gas station driving to the pump.

The woman came up to the window and he gave her the money and also told her how much he needed .

He kept his eyes on me waiting for an answer but i didn't give him one .

I hated when wi have dem silly arguments yah weh not even needed . But mi not even ago argue wid him right now .

I closed my eyes for a few minutes until my phone made a sound with a notification from mr rohan.

My throat got dry immediately and i could feel the coldness off the ice cream dripping down my fingers.

Rajah's eyes were right in the phone reading the messages. He didn't say anything but put the car in drive and went on the road .

" who dat?" He asked and I chirped up quickly " mi boss , di one weh wah mi come a new york".

He hums softly turning up the music to 50% driving without another word .
