ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) presents itself typically in three ways:


~inattentive type - most commonly found in girls or femme-presenting individuals*

~hyperactive-impulsive type - commonly found in boys*

~combined type - qualities of other presentations, most common presentation

*even though these presentations are more commonly found in certain genders, such as girls having the inattentive presentation more commonly than boys, are not exclusive. some boys may have an inattentive presentation and some girls may have a hyperactive presentation. it just tends to present differently. for example, a girl with a hyperactive presentation will probably be fidgety and hyper talkative, rather than constantly on the move.
