You really do hate Makima. Someone you've been watching out for. Someone you've been weary of for months. Someone who you knew wasn't what they pretended to be. You wish you could hate every devil too. Yet then you would hate one of the few friends you had ever had the pleasure of meeting.

You never understood the importance of your own life. Always content with the thought of dying from the next devil you face. If you were okay with dying why is it so hard when others go and leave you forever.

In a few months you had made more friends than you had the past 17 years of your life, only to loose them just as fast. Why was the world like this? Why couldn't everyone experience normal lives away from devils and anything else that might bring pain?

The brief happiness brought through a stupid group chat was unimaginable. The brief escape brought to you from a group chat you weren't even meant to be in. A group chat that gave you a few minutes of a happiness. A group chat that everyday allowed you to shut out the rest of the world.

Did Aki and Power really have to go?

Why did they have to go?

Why did you even have to meet them in the first place?

The world really is unfair.

All that was left was a forlorn feeling in the pit of your stomach. A feeling that you hadn't felt in so long. For it had been so long since you had felt the loss of a family.
