彡 detailed description, nagisa is a petite-looking wolfdog, sizing approximately 24 to 25 inches, and only weighting about 70-75—depending on whether or not he's dieting healthily. he could easily be mis-identified as a husky.

it's safe to say he's not your average wolf; large, stocky and muscular, topping off with a dense double-coating. he falls on the other side of the spectrum, with a small, sleeker build. he's lean, lanky, but rather elegant. smaller than the ordinary specimen, a first-borne one year old can easily tower over him. he isn't sickly-looking, however, but any larger canid may believe otherwise. he's often disregarded for his size, but could in fact he a valuable member of the pack would they account his speed.

underneath that thick fur, he's angular, with a slim musculature and slender limbs. nagisa has favors his left frontal leg over his right, having suffered a fracture that left him limp for the rest of his life. his life would've been cut short, had it not been for human interferance. it still lingers, like a ghost in his scent—the wildflowers, honey and bitter musk of freshly-eaten elk mask the spice of human in his coat—and in the radio collar strapped tightly around his neck.

with a limp, he's still one of the fastests of his pack. he's able to break the average speed of a wolf if only for a few meager strides. he could mantain speed with the rest of his packmates, but his limp sores and pains after consistant running and pressure.

his head is well-proportionized with his body, and perhaps the lesser angular part of him. large, spherical eyes and a soft honey hue emphasize his naïvety. in his ears remain his malamute heritage, with smaller, perkier auricles rather than the large, rounded ones of a pure gray wolf. his tail, furthermore, has a slight curl to it.
➳ scarifications,      he has a vast array of scars peppered across almost every area of his body. from his muzzle to the base of his rump. most of them tail to when the rival pack attacked his family, and he was held back by his small stature and unstable gait as a result of his panic.

      he has the remains of a gnaw on his left hind leg, and three large claw marks on his right hindquarter. on his flank, he has a cured gash; a long, winding scar from the beginning of his right hindleg muscle down to his underbelly.

      once aided and re-introduced into the forest, his fresher scars are attempts at interacting with other wolves of what was once his pack, now led by his elder brother, umbra. being an omega, he was bullied and abused constantly, which is where his torned ears, and muzzle and  shoulder scars come from. he furthermore sports small nips and scrapes on the side of the abdomen.

      being a subordinate, he still suffers from the occassional hogging and nip to the tail, but it wasn't as bad as when he was a lone wolf and then an omega.

➳ gullible
      彡      nagisa's innocence is almost child-like. from the way his round eyes explore the world around him to the manner he approaches stranger wolves, or wolves of higher hierarchy in his pack. he's quite indifferent to the bullying and abuse he's suffered as an omega, and now as a subordinate whenever he's being roughhoused, he merely thinks of it as a game.

his kindness and trustworthiness gets him into a lot of trouble, as some wolves enjoy taking advantage of his easygoing nature. but that never ceased him from being a benevolent hound.

➳ inquisitive
      彡      finding interest in the smallest of detail, and finding intriguement at the most bizzare of things, he's similar to a pup who's stepping out of its den for the first time. especially after he was re-introduced into the wild and into his pack. venturing out and exploring every nook and cranny is perhaps his favorite pasttime. his curiousity is not only reserved for his pack's domain and the other creatures that inhabit it, but he can also be a pain in the rump when he's prying into other wolves' businesses. he's a naturally nosy boy, and it's not uncommon for him to recieve a cuff to the ear for his meddling.

after spending so much time away from the wild life of a wolf and cared for by humans, nagisa has taken a keen interest in watching and studying every single movement of his packmates.

➳ diffident
      彡 astoundingly, nagisa is a shy, introverted, and timid canine. when it comes to strangers and acquaintances, he behaves distant and aloof. not in a malicious way, but he's the kind of wolf that would rather be alone that accompanied by unfamiliar faces. he headily dislikes fights and conflicts. he's a peacemaker; a lover, not a fighter. nagisa is the last wolf you will see fighting. when it comes to more tame interactions, he's very socially awkward. his stutter worsens, and he's a flop when it comes to mantaining eye contact—unless it is a wolf of high hierarchy, in which he's learned never to look at in the eye. being a naturally curious lupine, he will pry in and play with other wolves yes, but he has an internal battery that needs recharging every few minutes.

his introverted demeanor is much more present in the aforementioned fact, and that he has a personal bubble only his closest, most bondest friends—and pups—are allowed in and eagerly welcomed. if not, nagisa will get continously uncomfortable. and, similar to a young child, he's prone to emotional temper tantrums—when not in the presence of the rest of his pack, that is.

➳ nurturing
      彡      it is not a secret that nagisa absolutely loves pups. in the motherly kind of way. he's found a place in a pack taking care of the little ones twenty-four seven. he is not the best hunter, nor the best fighter, but he definitely is one of the best puppy-sitters, and the mothers—although sometimes it is not easy for them to admit it—are rather grateful for his presence. he lifts up a burden off their shoulders, be it for a few minutes to a few hours. he's found a place in the nursery, and many distant acquaintances may mistake him for a female, with the sweet aroma of milk, honey, and wildflowers clinging tightly to his coat.

      his nurturing and affectionate demeanor isn't only reserved for pups, but it also extends to his friends and next of kin. nagisa may be called clingy and meddling—because he is—but he's in reality worried and ensuring his friends' and family's health. he's always pondering and concerning wether or not they've eaten their share that that, or if they're feeling worn or fatigued or down. he's the kind of wolf that lends an ear to anyone; allows them to vent and then he'll give them a comforting lick to the ear. and if he can, he'll also give advice—though he isn't the most wise of wolves—he'll try.

➳ mellow
      彡      as aforementioned, nagisa isn't fond of skirmishes, and he will do anything in his power to avoid any type of conflict with any wolf. he is small, and he knows he won't win at least ninety percent of his fights.

      nevertheless, he's a naturally docile canid. his obedient nature is both advantageous and hazardous regarding whomever wolf he is interacting with. he can effortlessly elude scuffles with his submissive, threat-les snature. however, it is easy to manipulate and take advantage of this pup for any type of malicious invocations. he's ever catious, but he would never be able to guess from afar which wolf will treat him fairly. he avoids anyone with a cold, leering eye or any wolf who sincerely appears that they will not hesitate to rip fur off with their incisors should you approach them. on the other hand, nagisa is a fairly easy to approach wolf, benevolent and kind. he wouldn't stand his ground unless you give him a reason to. he's a canine quite simple to trust, but that trust is as fragile as a thin, silky thread, and if it breaks, it cannot be repaired.

➳ clingy
      彡      there are two sides of this trait; the previously mentioned constant concern for his friend, and the general clingy—overly-attached and not wanting to leave his friend's side. both are visible in different settings, but the latter is withheld for his best friends and love interest.

      he is clingy in the worried way. nagisa is a selfless being, and he always wants the best for his friends and next of kin—or any friendly wolf in general. he will lay down any scraps of food if he finds another who needs the aliment more than he does, and he'll furthermore lay  down any shelter he finds for the sick, weak and ill. his friends always tell him he's too generous and charitable—even in the worst of times—and that he should worry about himself more. he tries, but he finds himself feeling empty and antsy when he's not constantly watching over his friends like a mother hen does her chicks.

      his other clingy nature is the less meddling, more affixed and devoting kind of clinginess wolves may find more irritating than his persistant stressing. after being rescued and taken to a wildlife center, he never had anyone of his own species to rely on. now re-located back into the forest, he's only just learning to socialize with his kind. whenever he seizes over twinges of affection and friendliness, he will hold onto them tight, as though he was latching onto an elk's hindquarter.

      he's similar to a curious child, always wanting to know and always wanting to join his compation everywhere. it's endearing, in a way, a he's learning the boundaries of his partners. on the other hand, yes, it can be infuriating.

➳ mental,      nagisa has undergone many traumatic events in his puphood. most notably is the raid from the rival pack, that left him strayed from his family-pack with a broken leg and mauled hindquarters.

      this developed a lot of anxiety on his older juvenile life. now re-established back into the wilderness, he's exhibited a lot of anxiety symptoms, from physical panic attacks, exhaustion, increased heart rate, and trembling, to  the more cryptic sense of dread, nervousness, impending danger and failure to concentrate about anything other than concern and distress.

➳ physical,      he sports a noisy limp on his right frontal leg, and due to a scar running down one of his eyes, he is partially blind in that eye—he is not one-eyed, but one eye is blurrier than the other.

       the limp was caused by fractured bone that was left unattended for too long and was never completely healed. he is not entirely lamed, but he cannot run for long distances without feeling sore or pained in that particular limb. he is able to participate in hunting, however many of the wovles do leave him out of it because he'll more often than not be the first to lag behind the pack of ravenous canids and packining herds of elk, deer, and buffalo.

      furthermore, he has a natural stutter that worsens alongside his anxiety, and whenever he's overly-excited or exhausted.

➳ fears,      any creature bigger than him is leg-trembling for nagisa. elk, even. he's seen those things' hooves crush a skull before, and it wasn't fun.

      wolves in general, particularly the large, muscular high higherarchy canids that never bother glancing down at such a small wolf. they're intimidating, and he knows they never hesitate to gnaw at a subordinate should they show any twinge of disrespect. his friends deserting him for another better wolf is terrifying to think about, particularly his anxiety always chews his mind about this issue, and continously doubts wether or not they like him as a genuine friend or not.

     lastly, the whirring blades in the sky put him on edge. he swears it's always following him. that thunderous noise and the pirouetting wings of metal that cut through air. perhaps the collar strapped around his neck has something to do with it.
      彡 phobias,      the river was a major part of his traumatic event in the past. nagisa isn't entire hydrophobic; shallow pools and little creeks aren't enough to send him into panic, however large bodies of water such as deep, massive rivers and lakes do frighten him, and he'll stay away from them as much as he can.
