"Hey guys, we brought you macarons and muffi-"
Joonyoung and Hyoryung burst into the restaurant holding two bags each.
Both of their bags dropped to the floor and their jaw dropped wide open when they saw Namra chatting with others.
Daesu rushed to pick up the bags.
"Hey brother! You brought muffins and macarons!"
"Am I dreaming?" Hyoryung said.
"Am I hallucinating?" Joonyoung said.
Namra smiled. "Hi guys, how're you?"
"So she's real, right?" Joonyoung said.
Woojin walked over to Joonyoung and patted him in the back. Then whispered,
"It just happened."
After talking, Namra checked her watch. She looked at them.
"I guess I'll be going now."
"Already?" I-Sak complained.
"It has been 4 hours, already?"
"I can't believe it."
"I'll go home, too." Minji said.
"Let's meet up again soon, what'd you say?" Onjo asked.
"Sure.Text me." Namra smiled.
Namra went outside, waiting to the car to come quickly. Jimin tapped her shoulder from behind.
"I'm sorry I didn't talk to you back then. It was so awkward."
"It's okay if you don't want to, I don't mind."
"No, no. I'm ashamed. I've hated you without even knowing. It's not like I like you now, that's not it. It's just that, I've did something I shouldn't have. I'm really sorry."
"It's okay. At least there's not any misunderstandings left."
"Let's get close." Jimin raised her hand and they handshaked.
Meanwhile, the boys won't let Sooheon go. Daesu, Joonyoung, Wujin and Gyeongsu held him in his chair. Cheongsan and Onjo who was looking at their pitiful friend and I-Sak who was hitting Gyeongsu while laughing. Hyoryung stood in a corner looking at Jimin and Namra, forming a friendship.
A soft smile appeared on her lips.
"That won't do it." Cheongsan steps up. Onjo looked at him, curious.
"Hey, let him go. His dad called, he needs to go immediately."
All of them let go. Sooheon couldn't believe his best friend. Onjo's hand flew to her mouth at her boyfriend's lying skills. Even Cheongsan couldn't believe what he just did.
Gladly, they bought the lie but Joonyoung raised an eyebrow.
Sooheon hurriedly grabbed his belongings and walked out of the restaurant to see Jimin and Hyoryung talking to Namra. The duo smirked seeing him and said goodbye to her.
Jimin winked at him before entering the restaurant. He took a deep breath and walked up to the girl.
"Why are you just standing here?"
Namra shifted her gaze from him to the bike. Then she processed to think.
"Can I?"
"Of course." He smiled wide. "Hop in." He said handing her a helmet.
"Let me cancel the driver."
Namra and Sooheon sat on a bench near a lake. The sun was providing warm light. Namra's side profile, the warm rays and the silence was perfect.
"I heard you're going to start this upcoming week."
Sooheon decided to break the silence.
"Yeah." She paused. "We're in the same class."
"Oh really, that'll be great!"
"Hey, do you know where your dad was last night?"
"Suddenly?"
"He's Mr. Choi Yeon Jun, right?"
"Right."
"He's my father's best friend. They both got wasted yesterday so.."
"Really? I never would've known."
"Right, what a coincidence."
It got silent again. Sooheon turned to look at her, but was surprised when he found Namra, already staring at him.
Her soft smile made his heart pound, his skin ablaze and made him forget his words.
Jaebom kept spending more and more time in his art room. The painting is almost done, but he's still seeking imperfections. It should be flawless.
There's a mission that he has to do with the painting.
During he was taking a break, he called Chanmi. She picked up quickly.
"Looks like you were on your phone."
Chanmi felt the emptiness in Jaebom's voice. She tries to change the topic.
"Don't worry, it'll be fine. Let's not talk about that." Jaebom said.
"It will. Anyway, did you in get touch with Sooheon?"
"No, you're the first person I called within a few days."
Chanmi felt special. She was never a first choice to anyone except her parents. Not even to Sooheon, who was her first choice.
She cleared her throat.
"You're really good at making people flutter."
"Am I?" He laughed.
Jaebom and Chanmi talked and talked, for so long.
Sooheon walked her home. It was Namra's choice. He could've just drove his motorcycle, but she said she wanted to walk.
"We're here. Go in."
Namra nodded.
"See you on Sunday."
She started walking towards the door. He looked at her back which was getting distant from him.
"Hey." He called her, with his voice deep and soft.
She turned back and gave him a questioning look. He hurriedly walked to her, handing her his phone.
"Can I get your number?"
Namra looked at the phone before taking it. She quickly typed her number and made a call.
"Here." She smiled and returned the phone.
"Bye, Ji Sooheon."
"Good night."
Sooheon stood there and watched her safely entering the mansion. He shoved his hands in his pocket and started walking.
Sooheon entered the living room to find his dad, watching TV. He decided to go in his room to avoid a awkward conversation.
"Sooheon."
"Yeah?"
"Was it you..." He paused. "Who brought us here?"
"Yes." He answered. "Isn't he Choi Yeon Jun? The businessman?"
"Yes. He's my best friend, since childhood." Mr. Ji proudly said.
"I see. I'll go, then."
"Wait, Son!"
Sooheon turns back.
"I'm thinking of introducing to him. Would you like that?"
"Sure, why not? Let's do that."
"Namra."
"Yeah, dad?"
Mr. Choi sat opposite to Namra in the couch. His face is straight, which means he is going to say something serious.
"Why are you so adamant to go to Hyerong-dong?"
Namra totally didn't expect that.
"That was so sudden."
