Namra and Mr. Choi entered Seok mansion with bunch of bodyguards. They were warmly greeted by the Seok family.

"Hello, Mr. Choi. I'm so glad you came."
"I'm honored."

They shaked hands.

"This is my son and this is my wife." Mr. Seok introduced Jaebom and Mrs. Seok.
"Nice to meet you."

"This is my only daughter, Choi Namra."
"Glad to see you, dear." Mrs. Seok smiled.

An hour passed since the party began. Namra sat in a table at the corner. She's holding a glass filled with champagne, although it tasted gross. It was getting suffocating. She escaped and went to the rooftop to get some fresh air.

She scrolled through her phone. A familiar name caught her eye.

Nam Onjo

She opened the chat.

Prez, can we meet tomorrow? It's okay if you can't.

She typed quickly.

Sure. Where though?

Namra looked at the sky and took a deep breath. It felt refreshing.

Ji Sooheon was busy boxing at his private gym. He was covered in cold sweat. Suddenly, his phone rang. He took off his gloves and picked up the phone.

"What are you doing?" Cheongsan asked.
"Just...working out."
"Again?" Gyeongsu said in annoying tone.
"You guys are together?"
"Yeah, you jerk. We're eating fried chicken." Daesu said.
"Save me some." Sooheon smiled.

Chanmi was studying. Someone knocked into her door.

"Come in."

Mr. Ok entered her room.

"Dad, when you were back?"
"Just a little ago. I missed you, my lovely daughter."
"I missed you too."

She hugged her dad.

"I see you're studying hard."
"Yes, I am."
"Good luck with studying then." He placed a coffee on her desk.
"Hmm."

Chanmi called Sooheon while sipping her coffee. After three failed attempts, she called Jaebom.

"Hey, Jaebom. Where did you go today?"
"Where again, at home of course."
"Are you free?"

"For a bit."
"Try calling Sooheon."
"Why? Why don't you do it?"
"He isn't picking up."
"Then he's busy."
"I guess so. By the way, what's that noise? A party?"
"Yeah, my parents going crazy over this again."
"Who is it this time?"
"Mr. Choi. The top businessman of Seoul."
"Ahh." She sighed. "Then, good luck!"
"Bye."

Jaebom zoomed in the picture.
Ok Chanmi's picture.

Then his gaze shifted to the girl, who was the main guest's daughter on the other side of the roof, on her phone.

It is past midnight. Ji Sooheon just stepped out of the shower, wearing a bathrobe. He ran his fingers through his hair. Water is dripping from his hair.

He is super confused nowdays. He always finds himself zoning out, being unable to focus and having dirty imaginations.

Why is this happening to me?
Is it because I'm an adult now?

"Oh right." He picked up the folded note from his diary.

His heart pounded louder as he proceeded to open the note.

"Je viendrai Γ  toi quand tu cΕ“ur sera prΓͺt Γ  le porter"

"Wow." He thought to himself. "She's flexing her multilingual abilities."

He quickly snapped a picture and translated it.

"I will come to you when your heart is ready to carry it."

He gasped.

"Oh..my...god."

Sooheon blushed hard. He threw his feet into the air and jumped on the bed.

"Did she mean that?"

Namra was combing her hair. After a rough day, it feels nice. It feels like someone's patting her head. She imagines Ji Sooheon standing beside her, smiling, patting her hair softly and everything is getting blurry...and blurrier.

Namra quickly opened her eyes to avoid the fall. She became awkward with herself and left the mirror.

Jaebom was exhausted after everything. His cheeks hurt from smiling so much before. He lied down on his bed and closed his eyes. It feels peaceful, just being himself. He got up when he remembers something.

He went to his art room quietly. He looked at the incomplete painting. Only an eye is completed. He grabs his apron and puts it on. Sitting down, he mixed paints. He began drawing the other eye.

Those fickle round set eyes with light brown iris.

A smile appears on Jaebom's face. Strangely, he doesn't feel exhausted anymore. Looking at the painting makes him feel calm, makes him want to do more.

Chanmi was hesitating whether to call Sooheon or not. She decided to give in.

"Hello?"
"Hey, Sooheon. What are you doing?"
"Just watching TV. You?"
"I'm just... laying down on my bed."

"Anyway, what's up?"
"Are you free tomorrow?"
"When?"
"At afternoon, or evening?"
"I'm free at afternoon."
"Let's go watch a movie."
"Is Jaebom going?"
"No, it's just us two. I guess he's exhausted from today's party."
"We should at least tell him."

Gosh, that clueless boy.

"Anyway, are you going or not?"
"Okay."

Sooheon hangs up. Chanmi chuckles.

Namra is going to sleep. Her body's exhausted. Her phone makes a notification chime.

At the cafe, near the Hyosan subway. If you like, shall we watch a movie too?

Onjo smiles. She was laying on Cheongsan's lap. Cheongsan feeds her a chicken nugget.
"I guess I'm succeeding."
"At what?"
"At befriending her."
"But you're ignoring me."
"When?"
"You're supposed to watch a movie tomorrow with me."
"We're watching one now." She pointed at the laptop.

"But you're not paying attention." He sulked.
She smirked, then got up, wrapped her arms and legs around him and kissed him. Cheongsan picked her up and laid her down on the couch while kissing her back.

That was more than enough for him.

Sooheon had huge eye bags today. His hair is super messy. His body is tired and wants to rest but he's dragging it to school. He gets out from the car. He was too tired to even ride his motorcycle.

"Hey, what's going on?"

He turned around to see Chanmi, smiling. He smiled back.

"What happened? You look like you were in a fight that lasted all night."
"I actually was. My eyes are betraying me."
"Can't sleep again? Go see a doctor. At this rate, you'll grow old quick."
"I should."

Namra woke up from sleep. But she's still feeling tired. Going to a walk might help. She called Solhee while brewing her coffee.

"What a surprise after a surprise." Solhee sounded disheartened.
"Why? What happened to you?"
"I was drunk last night. I don't remember anything. I think my neighbour took me home, you know the one I told you about."
"The guy you like?"
"Yeah. How could I face him now? I have bad drunk habits."
"Exactly. Then why did you drink? Anyway, are you hangover?"
"I wasn't thinking about the consequences back then! And yeah, my head hurts like hell. Anyway, it's not like you to call me, what's wrong?"
"Nevermind. Bye."

Namra hangs up. She's useless.

Sure, by the way, can you go somewhere with me?

She quickly types and sends it to Onjo.

Mr. Choi asked Namra at breakfast, "What happened to you? You got those eye bags right there. Aren't you sleeping well?"
"I'm sleeping well, just a bit tired nowdays."
"You should rest properly. Don't hamper your health, got it?"
"Yeah."
"You know you're moving to Hyerong-dong next week, right?"
"I know."
"Prepare yourself." Her dad's voice, serious and cold.

Hyerong-dong, whenever that place is mentioned, only one face comes to her mind.

"Ji Sooheon," she murmured.
