☁️ . . . ⇢ ˗ˏˋ 𝐎𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧. ࿐ྂ

"Mmm. Smells delicious." the aroma of burning meat on charcoal filled my senses. Little fire ashes sparkling up in the air as I watched Mikey trying to BBQ some sausages.

"Gojo-san! Gojo-san! Am I doing it right?" his dark eyes suddenly filled with sparkles when his excited bursted out.

"Hah! First time being in charge of BBQ?" I stood up stepping closer to the grill with a confident posture.

"Shut up! It's not like you'd do it better!"

I took his pallet out of his hand started rolling out the meat like a pro I attempted to be.

A hand rapidly threw some charcoal at the grill, making me flinch when a vast flame lit up.

"Haha sorry! Did I scare you?" a tall figure popped behind me.

"Oooh Baji-"

"My turn!" He took the pallet out of my hand touching my pinkie.

"You look nice in a ponytail" I pointed out his long silk hair hanging down.

"Thanks Y/N, and you look as good as always no matter what you wear" he WINKED at me. W I N K E D.

"Did you fall from the sky? Heaven sure made it's way to you" I nudged his elbow.

"Were you the angel that came along with me? Because you sure are the one to protect me" gawd dayummmm this man.

From the corner of my eyes I could feel someone deeply staring into my soul like I was their prey or something.

Mikey.

          what is this feeling I felt inside? For some reason I didn't enjoy watching Y/N be all flirty with other guys. She looked like she was having so much fun, and not with me.
No.
Jealousy? It couldn't be! As much as I flirt and get my head around her, there's no possible way that I could feel something for her. Never the less would she.

"Mikeyyy?" Draken voice saved the tension I felt from him. I couldn't even dare to turn my head to stare into his eyes.

Two guys approached us as me and Baji were nearly finished with grilling the ingredients.

"Do you need any help?" it was Mitsuya and Chifuyu.

"We're nearly done. You can help us set the table" they headed to the table, leaving me, Mikey and Draken alone.

As I reached out to take the fire out, a sharp crisp burnt feeling came in contact with my wrist.

"Ouch-" I flinched at the sudden pain I felt.

"God damnit"

Mikey and Draken gave a concerned look towards my way when Minkey's gentle hands touched my wrist.

"Did you burn yourself? Be careful next time" his tender voice spoke out to me. Wasn't I going to get yelled at?

"Why so pale? It happens. Come. I'll treat it"

"I'll take care of the grill, you guys go" I heard Draken's voice before Mikey dragged me to a table where some of the bags were.

"Sit" he pointed at the log as I did so.

He took out an emergency kit taking out a pack of bandages.

"Does it still hurt?" his benign fingers trailed across my wrist as he put some ointment on the scar as he crouched in front of me.

"No. Not really. It's not a big deal" I sat quietly staring it him as he gently bandaged my arm.

His soft eyes met mine for a brief moment.

"There. All done" I was going to sit up when his  plump lips met my bandaged wrist.

"H-huh?" my cheeks filled with blood-shot colour unaware of his movements.

"It's a get-well-kiss. I kissed it to take the pain away" he raised his head up to meet my now looking cooked tomato face. "You're shy" he smiled at my gestures

"S-shut up" our little moment got interrupted by Mitsuya's voice calling out for us. Guess dinner was ready.

"Wuahhh! Look at all this food" my eyes sparkled in excitement. As I reached out to pick up a plate of freshly cut vegetables, a firm arm grabbed mine.

"What happened? Are you okay?" I met Gojo's worrying eyes when I realised he was talking about the bandages.

"I'm fine- clumsy me burnt herself a bit"

"Be careful next time" said Makima with a warm smile as everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Itadakimasu" we all swallowed our foods at the taste of the deliciously succulent dishes.

"Y/N!!!!!! Y/NNNNNNNN!!!" I saw Smiley running towards me dragging Angry along with him.

He tackled me into a hug as I unexpectedly fell to the ground.

"Here to kill me again"

"You didn't have any time to play with us! Can we go play a bit? Just the 3 of us" said Smiley with puppy eyes. He knew I couldn't resist them.

"Oh lord you act like a 5yo, worse than Mikey"

"And you act like a 4yo!" I heard Mikey form the distance. How could he even hear that?

I turned my glance to Angry. He looked quite humble about the whole situation when he spoke up.

"I'd also like to know more of you, Y/N" his cold yet welcoming eyes met mine. They were both so adorable. I couldn't say no.

"Can we fight?" Smiley's sudden suggestion caught me off guard.

"Fight?"

"Well...water-splash fights. As much as I'd like to test your fighting skills, Y/N. I wouldn't do that now, plus I wouldn't hit a girl" the pink haired guy smiled at me when he took my arm and directed me to the river.

*splash* "Hey! Not fair! I was caught off guard!" Smiley laughed when he splashed some water on me.

We sat around the fire place when Makima came back with a bag full of marshmallows.

We passed them around and each of us took one.

A shriver went down my spine when a cold night breeze brushed against my clothing.

"Are you cold?" Mikey said to me

"Mmm...I'll go get myself a blanket" I couldn't even get up when his arms wrapped around me, wrapping us both with his warm blanket.

"No need" he gave me a heart-warming smile.

This man finna make me act up.

"Ready for some horror night stories?" said Mikey, doing a "boohooo- im a ghost be scared" gesture in my face.

"Well, I'll start then" Gojo cleared his throat.

Once upon a time, in a small village, a rumour trailed around the houses.

The Blue Monster.

It was said that every Blue Moon, when no one is outside and it's pitch-black, a revolting-disgusting big looking monster with crooked teeth and long dirty fur will show up.

Trailing the streets of the empty village, searching for his new victims.

What was he after?

No one really knew. But villagers suspected his most wanted villagers were teenagers and kids — young people. Beautiful girls and strong boys.

It would kidnap people in the night, and you'd never see them again. Never again. No one knew what he was doing with the victims, but they would say he would reap their hearts out, then the lungs, finally their brains, and eating them.

The creature would catch anyone who dared to wonder around the streets, but he could get very impatient and also barge into people's homes. But, if you were lucky enough, you might just escape the night.

But don't think too far ahead. The moment you think you're safe, you're not.

Don't look behind, don't look outside the window, because if you do, the Blue Creature will catch you.

"RAAA-" someone behind me screamed, I was so focused on the story that I my heart flew out my body and I screamed.

"BAJI! WHAT THE HELL?" the tall boy gave me a big green, his feline teeth showing off when everyone chuckled.

My arm was holding something. What was I holding?

I turned around to see my hand gripping on Mikey's chest like I was drowning in a sea and had nothing to hold off.

I look up to be met by his eyes. The warm fire flickering on our reflections.

"You're such a scaredy-cats!" Baji burst out laughing

"You're so cute when you act like that tho" Mikey gave me a smirk, pointing at my arm still being attached to his shirt.

"A-" I took my arm off of his chest, both of us getting flustered a bit.

"Me next!" Mitsuya said in awe, preparing to say the next story.

A cold-ish wave came in contact with my bare foot as I was standing in the river admiring the reflection of the starry sky and Moon.

If only time could stop.

I relaxed my whole body and took a sit on the cold grass, taking in the clear air and the sound of the wind clashing against the trees.

A figure around my height took a sit next to me.

"Admiring the view?" his limpid voice resounded through my ears.

"Shh; the Moon is talking to me" I closed my eyes and let the breeze take my thoughts away.

"What is she saying?" his gaze upon me.

"She is saying that she had a very hard day today. Although it was hard work, it was also filled with a lot of fun and felicity. She is very happy to be around such astonishing people, and wishes to dance along her brothers and sisters upon eternity"

"Mm. Keep talking. I love listening to your voice" he said in a quiet tone, his words making me shy a little.

"I can quite sympathise with the Moon- her words are a blast of art modestly arranged on her canvas — the sky. Her sky is her world. She's get her own words she rules upon"

"And what's your world then?"

"The fate I create myself everyday. Every event that revolves around me — is my world. As well as you and everyone else is part of my world, I am also a part of your world" I turned my head to face him, but he was already locked on my face. His face was relaxed, like he was looking at me in awe.

"Do you have any wishes? Dreams perhaps?" Mikey suddenly zooned out at the sound of my voice.

"O-oh. I don't really know. The only dream I have is to become a great leader that Toman will be proud of. That I will be proud of" he stopped for a second, still locking eyes with me. "Do you have a wish?"

"I have yet reached to fulfill this little favour I have wished upon this reflection in the water"

"Y/N Shakespeare. That wish is?"

I turned my head to face the river again.

"To make this last forever"

"This?"

"Yeah. This. All the emotions I feel when I'm with you guys. I don't want this to end. I want to stay like this forever. Happy and young." I rested my head against Mikey's shoulder, closing my eyes.

"Don't worry. As long as I'm with you, you will always be happy. I will always try my best to make you happy." he took me into his hold - resting his arm around my shoulders.

"Thank you. I could have never expected to meet a guy such like you"

"And I never expected to meet such a clumsy yet amazing girl like you"

"Come to think of it, if it wasn't for Athena we would have never met, that way"

"Perhaps it was fate."

"Who decided my fate to be to meet a shrimpy that nearly kidnapped my cat"

"You are the shrimp here"

our thoughts got lost into our laughters.

"Can we stay like this for a little longer?" I was getting quite sleepy

"Sure"

Mikey's pov:
"Say..Y/N. What makes you want to stick with me so much? I like you so much yet I know I'm just a boy causing trouble" when I turned to look at Y/N's face, she was already asleep.

Guess she didn't hear my question then. I accidentally let it slip through my mouth anyways.

I tucked her hair behind her ears so I could have a better view at her facial features — h/c smooth hair, e/c eyes, gentle lips that smoke only the truth, soft-blushy cheeks that made you want to pinch them every time you saw them.

A perfect women indeed has appreciated into my life.

It was already midnight when I took her bridal style and got her into her tent. I gently tried not waking up any of the other girls as I placed her down and tucked her in.

Little did he know Emma was half-awake and witnessed everything.

"Goodnight, Y/N" I whispered with a small smile forming on my face.

"Departure time everyone! I hope you all had an amazing time. Now get ready" said Gojo. It was last day and we were already getting ready to go home.

"And make sure you guys don't forget anything. Always double-check!" Makima made sure we didn't leave any rubbish or belongings behind.

"Mann! This was the best trip I had in my life!" said Emma, coming behind with Hina, Takemichi and Draken.

"I had so much fun!" said Chifuyu as he came up to us.

"Indeed we had!" said Takemichi

"We should go out more. It's fun spending time with you guys!" said Mitsuya

"YES! YES! PLEASE YES! I'D LOVE TO!" my eyes sparkled like a little kid. Doing fun things with my friends got me excited. Although I wasn't a big extrovert myself, I enjoyed my time with people I trusted.

"You act like a little kid getting excited over sweets!" said Chifuyu cheerfully while letting out a small chuckle.

"Oh she's always been like that, trust me" said Hina.

Everyone broke out in a laughter.

"No making fun of me!" I couldn't resist but laugh along with them.

"Car's ready everyone!" so we drove back home, we changed sitting format so now I was standing in the middle, between Mikey and Chifuyu.

"ATHENAAA!!" I bawled my eyes out when I finally saw Athena.

She joyfully jumped on my lap and gave me a welcome-back rub.

"I missed you so much! I bet you missed me more!"

"Welcome back, how was the trip?" Mikey's grandpa spoke. I wasn't too familiar with him, I only talked with him a bit when I dropped Athena off.

"It was really fun!" I heard Emma say as her and Mikey walked into the living room.

"Happy family reunion" Mikey kneeled down to pet Athena.

"You 3 sure look like a family to me" Mikey's grandpa chuckled

"I-I was referring to her and Athena! Not including me!" I looked over to see a shy Mikey. funny.

"Fake it 'till you make it" said Emma before she took off and ran to her room.

"Well, I should go now. Thank you for taking care of Athena, I'm deeply grateful" I turned to Mikey's grandpa to bow.

He smiled in return and walked off.

Mikey walked me outside his gate.

"See you later, shrimpy" he smirked as I rolled my eyes with a smile, getting into the car.
