☁️ . . . ⇢ ˗ˏˋ 𝐀𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦. ࿐ྂ

"Y/NNNNNNN!!" the little familiar pink haired boy was approaching the group of students where I, of course, was as well.

"Hm?" I turned my head to the sound of the sweet joyful voice "SMILEYYYYYY!!!!" my eyes immediately sparkled in happiness as I shouted his name.

The boy tangled my waist in a big hug, making the other classmates stare at us in confusion. bitch tf you looking at🤨

"I didn't know you'd come to our festival?" I let go of the boy, patting his silky strawberry hair.

"In no way we could miss Y/N's maid showcase" he pointed at the blue haired boy next to him.

"mai-" my whole body twitched at the sound of maid, showcase.

We walked into the classroom, everything was slowly coming together. Tables and chairs were arranged in a distinctive pattern, a nice cafe sign outside the door to attract as many clients as ever — and the smell of fresh coffee and muffins filling your desires.

"Need any help?" I approached Hina. I had to be the least of help in some way and not slack all day.

"life saver" she said in a relieved voice when I took half of the stuff she was carrying.

"Y/N/chin!!!! Class 2-3 have some cool desserts!! Can we go check it out?" I was wondering when the little shrimp would finally appear, and there laid my answer.

"We have a cafe to handle-" my sentence got interrupted by Emma stepping in.

"Why not? You guys go have fun, we're opening the cafe in a few hours anyways"

"You guys don't need any help?" then again I was cut by Mikey's enthusiastic shout, grabbing my hand and leading me to where class 2-3 were.

"Ooh look! They have dorayaki!" his eyes sparkled in joy, by the looks of it he was ready to eat 3 whole restaurants.

"Ah so this is why you wanted to come here" it didn't surprise me at all — this boy loved dorayaki more than himself.

"Here — you have some too" he handed me a dorayaki, while he already shoved half of his in his mouth.

We were walking back to our class, when a group of people suddenly stopped us.

"Hello there! You couple over there!" a girl dressed in pink full of hearts and a bandana approached us with some other students. Guys I think she likes pink.....

"c-c-couple?" my face went red, the fact that someone would misunderstand us for a couple-

"Would you like to try our love fare? It's limited to young couples — you will have to fulfill some challenges through out the course, although if you let go of your partner's hand, you guys are disqualified. Of course the winners will get a prise: a love cake or any sweets of your choice!"

"Sorry we're not a c-"

"Sure why not" my sentence once again got interrupted, I was in total shock, did this man really not realise that he accepted us to go through a fare limited to couples? Mikey looked too preoccupied with the prize that he didn't even mind that we would have to act as girlfriend and boyfriend??

"So? What do we have to do?" he took my hand into his after finishing his dorayaki.

"You will go trough 3 challenges, although they are secret so we cannot tell you. Off you go!"

We interred the 1st challenge, according to the rules, we had to go through a little labyrinth, but the twist was: one must carry the other to perceive the challenge.

"Ok, hop on" Mikey half-crouched down for me to get on his back.

"Hah- you don't even have to crouch down – I can reach anyway"

"You're shorter than me anyways" an irk mark appeared on his face as I wrapped my hands around his neck. The plan would be that he would be the one walking, ofc. And I would be the one giving him directions as only I could see the way out due to me being higher.

"Right I said! Not left!"

"You're heavy!"

"I'm not! It's because of your dorayaki!"

"How much do we have left?"

"My grandpa could move faster than you!"

Well — 1st challenge wasn't so perfect, but in the end we did get out.

"Finally! Get off me my back hurts" he panted as I got off my his back.

Now onto the 2nd challenge: we had to eat a bowl of noodles, but then again, one of us had to feed the other due to our hands being locked together. Bullshit.

"Great.." I murmured to myself, this felt a little too out of hand.

But fear not, the fearless Mikey decided to take it upon him and take the chopsticks in his hands.

"Open wideee!!" he was definitely teasing me. Just how much did he like to play with me.

I had no other choice but to munch on the noodles this shrimp was feeding me. It's not like I could drop out after we got so far.

But the fact that I had to endure to be fed by him, it made me look like a little baby, and it was quite embarrassing as well.

    "Congratulations on finishing 2nd challenge! Now it's time for the final challenge"

"Finally" I was already full from the bowl of noodles I just had, I could barely move my legs around.

"Now! For the last challenge, you will have to find the balloon that has got a lucky charm inside! You may break as many balloons as you'd like — but you'll have a time limit. Also you are not allowed to break them with your foot, nor use a sharp tool, and one at a time!"

"Then how on Earth are we supposed to break them?"

"Like this—" Mikey's sudden gestures surprised me. He got a balloon and placed it in between my chest and his, with his hand behind my back. The pressure he was putting between me and him made the balloon explode, ending with my body colliding with his.

"Oh look, the lucky charm" he stared down at the lucky charm that so happened to be between my b00bies and his.

"Perv!" my slap made him twist around like a ballerina. #welldeserved

"We got the charm!" I suddenly changed my mood, now joyfully running towards the assistant.

"Congratulations you two! The prices are right ahead"

"HUHOHO CAKEE" I turned around for a second now to only see Mikey already standing in front of the sweets boutique.

"What do you want Y/N?" his soft look in his eyes met mine. I was surprised that he, from all the people would care enough for my opinion.

"We could try this love cake or whatever, looks appetising"

"Then! One love cake please"

We chose to sit down at a table and enjoy our cake, it was actually good enough.

"What are you 2 love birds doing here?" my head turned at the familiar voice I definitely didn't expect.

"Ohh Ken-chin! Did you try the love fare too?"

"Wow Y/N, finally coming out with your relationship with Mikey? I knew it" Emma took a sit next to me, followed up by Draken, she looked quite intrigued.

The thought of me being in a relationship with Mikey somehow made me sparkle a blush, and I wasn't the only one— when I took a glance towards Mikey, I could clearly see a tint of pink in his cheeks, and he wasn't the best at hiding it. Well, it's not like I was. 

I was weirdly looking away out the window, but yet again my thoughts started piling up again when in the corner of my eyes Mikey's reflection in the window appeared.

Our eyes locked eye contact for a brief second.

Why was I feeling like this? A tingly sensation in my stomach, and suddenly a hot feeling rashed through my muscles as my heart was literally beating 30000 m/s. Could beat a marathon like this

"Never in 3849 years. I got bribed into this"

"With what?"

"Mikey's obsession with desserts" I gave Mikey a dirty look but all he did in response was laugh out a "hehe" UAHSJDJHHHHHHH-

"Whatever love birds, we got a cafe to run"

"Our top maid is here" I saw Baji and Chifuyu walk into the classroom that was now a so called maid cafe.

"You look nice Y/N" said Chifuyu with the sweetest smile on his face.

"Oh you guys are here" I walked up to them after finishing serving a table.

A figure popped up from behind me while I was talking to Baji and Chifuyu.

"You forgot these" the person that I recognised to be Mikey, put the pair of cat ears I had before on my head.

"NOOO NOT HERE-" I didn't even shout that loud yet the room was already full of students bargaining in.

"Omg Y/N in a maid outfit WITH cat ears??"
"My new religion"
"Can you serve me next?"
"Can I have a meow meow?"

Everyone was talking around me, about me. My hearing got narrowed, as the only thing I could think about now were the words of my fellow classmates.

A tender yet so masculine arm twirled around my waist from the side.

It wasn't long 'till the crowd of people started shrinking, and the cause was : Mikey's intimidating death stare. A single stare and everyone was gone. No wonder he had this kind of superiority around here. He's a shrimp but can be scary as fuck.

"It's okay if you don't wanna wear them"

"No it's totally fine, I get to stand out like this" I smiled at him and turned to serve the group of students that were waiting at a table.

"Y/NNNNNNNN!!!!!!!" I turned around to see the familiar and sweet face of Smiley's.

"SMILEYYYYYY!!!!!" We both ran into a hug making everyone lowkey stare at us. "I thought you went home"

Angry's figure popped up from behind Smiley as he approached me to touch my cat ears.

"They're fluffy" he put his hands in his pocket.

"Thanks" he didn't talk too much — but when he did, it was a treasure.

I turned around and went to do my job — serving tables.

"Heyy!!!" I turned to see Mitsuya and Kazutora waving at me from a table. I quickly rushed to them so I wouldn't attract to much attention.

"So the whole crew is here"

I didn't really now Kazutora that much. I only met him through Mitsuya, and didn't even had the chance to have a proper talk with him.

"Wouldn't miss Y/N in a maid outfit" Kazutora smiled towards me.

"If I could see myself from your point of view, I wouldn't dare miss one minute"

"I would like one coffee Miss" said Mitsuya

"Right away sir" I jokingly rolled my eyes and turned around in a sympathetic way.

After the whole maid play, I could finally sit down and enjoy my cup of tea and the biscuits Makima brought earlier.

"Enjoying the tea?" Mikey, Takemichi, Hina, the whole crew in fact joined me at the table.

"What on Earth are you wearing" I pointed out the bunny ears and this extravagant flower necklace Mikey was wearing. "In fact, why are you all wearing cat ears"

"Cat ears support gang" said Mitsuya

"Huh"

"I won them in a competition with Draken" he stood up and put a pair of the same big ass flower necklaces around my neck "I got you one as well"

"At least he didn't get you one of those dog toys" said Emma as everyone chuckled

"I bet Athena would have loved them" I said in sarcasm after joining them in the laughter.

"But I'm not even gonna ask" I sat back in my chair, taking another biscuit.

Mikey was doing these puppy eyes that were surely begging for something. His eyes were locked on the biscuit I was eating.

"Help yourselves" I put the biscuits in the middle of the table.

"Damn they're so delicious"
