Ian's POV

So today I'm at my mom's house we need to spend time together. We talked about Hope and she's coming over for dinner. I'm excited for Hope to meet my mom. Off topic I was watching the office, I must say that show confuses me. I was so confused. Anyways she came over and she was getting along with mom amazingly. I'm super happy because my mom actually likes her. But the one thing that kept me on edge was dad walking in on us enjoying our time. God I really like Hope a lot. Dinner was great and we talked a little about when I got to meet her mom. I was so nervous because I didn't expect it to be this soon. Hope just met me as well so I want to make a good impression on her mom. We waited for her mom but she wasn't home I'm guessing she was busy. But we got donuts, she doesn't like me when I pay. I want to since I'm trying to be nice. Then some sweaty looking guy walked, he ignored me and was talking to Hope. I want to rip his little head off his body. He soon left thank god and I told Hope I was jealous since that boy Liam? Lucas? Eh close enough seems to know Hope. Then dad was destroying our house? I was slightly worried for him. He got all mad when I asked if he was ok. Then he asked who I was hanging out with and well that caused an argument between us. I staked him... I- I did it. 🥺🥺🥺 I never wanted to. So I ran away to the warehouse and well the fight triggered a panic attack. And to put the icing on the cake Liam? No Lucas? That weird mop headed boy showed up and tried to threaten me in a middle of a panic attack! Hope soon came in and helped me. She so kind and calmed me down. We went to go get ice cream. But worst news Hope was trying to kill herself because of her aunt which I feel bad for her so I comforted her.

Hope's pov

Dear diary, and all the things
After everything happened at the bar I went home after a bit mom helped me find a dress to wear which wasn't normal for me to wear but I wanted to impress I guess.
I had a very nice dinner with Ian and his mom she's super sweet for a Gilbert (dad and aunt Rebekah always hated them uncle Kol hates Ian's uncle too)
Ian's dad came and ruined the dinner tho

I was really sad for Ian, everyone was having a good time too after wards we went to get a couple of sweets ending the day but when I came home aunt Rebekah started badgering me about the dress I wore she even compared me to my father! My father that was a different low I ran off after that.
