"I THOUGHT YOU SAID THIS GUY WAS A JOURNALIST." JOYCE SPOKE, THE THREE PARKING NEAR AN OLD SHACK. "Yeah, uh, he was." Hopper dragged Alexei to the 'door', Joyce following. "Was?" She repeated, Hopper ignoring her and pressing the doorbell. "Look at the camera." A man's voice sounded, Hopper confused before looking at the doorbell. "The camera, above you to the right." Hopper looked to see Joyce waving at a camera politely, everyone else looking to it. "Identify yourselves." The man ordered, Hopper fed up already. Why did he already need to introduce himself if he knows Murray? "Joyce Byers, Jim Hopper, Smirnoff." Hopper spoke quickly, Joyce scoffing. "Alexei." She corrected, Hopper sighing. "Alexei." He repeated, Murray not impressed. "Surname." He insisted, Hopped shrugging. "I don't know." He let out, the man sighing. "Family name!" He explained what a surname was, Hopper scoffing.
"Yeah, I know. I told- I don't know, okay?" Hopper spoke 'calmly', Joyce turning to him. "Okay-" "Just open the damn door!" Hopper yelled, Joyce shaking her head. "Hopper." She assured, Hopper taking a deep breath. "It's all right. He's a little eccentric, but... he's completely harmless." Hopper assured, the door opened, Murray showing up and cocking a shotgun at the three. Joyce gasped, Alexei surrendering his handcuffed hands as he stared down the barrel. "Get that out of my face, you bald American pig." He spoke in Russian, Murray scoffing with laughter. "I may be bald, but you're the one in handcuffs, Soviet scum." Murray shot back, everyone confused. Especially Alexei. Looking to Hopper, Murray smiled.
"Hi, Jim."

SEB CREPT OUT OF THE HIDING SPOT, STEVE NOT FAR BEHIND. "Clear, let's go." Steve spoke after the vehicle moved past them, Robin humming. "That was close." Seb walked forward first, everyone following. He had decided if these Russians were up to no good, he'd use his powers...
non-discretely.
"Too close." Dustin added, Seb shaking his head. "Nobody saw..." Seb let out quietly, the group surrounding him as they watched the scene in front of them. it was like a movie. People in lab coats rushing with clipboards, people in soldier uniforms, other people in combat jumpsuits. Seb's eyes darted around everyone, staying on the people in uniforms.

"Subject Seven, you look delightful!" Dr Brenner complimented, a sinister smile on his face that seemed welcoming to Seven. The boy just stood awkwardly in his uniform, Brenner rubbing his hands together. "You should be proud of yourself, Subject Seven. What you're wearing... is the uniform of heroes."
Seven's head tilted. "Heroes?" He asked, Brenner nodding. "Yes, Subject Seven. Heroes save the world and keep everyone safe. You want to keep Subject Eleven safe, don't you?" The man asked, kneeling down to Seven's height. "Yes." Seven hesitantly answered, Brenner humming and rubbing the top of Seven's head. "Then this will make you a hero. There are bad people who want to harm us. And you'll protect us all, won't you?" Brenner asked, Seven liking the sound of that.
He wanted to protect Eleven. Sure, he already tried to, but he wanted to protect her from a lot more and he also wanted to protect her a lot more. Nodding eagerly, Brenner smiled. A knock on the door interrupted the two, the same woman walking in with a green hat in hand. "He forgot this in the changing room." She informed politely, Seven confused as Brenner smiled.
"I wondered where that went." He smiled, blowing into the hat and placing it on Seven's head. The boy felt weird having something just laying on top of his head, looking up at it innocently. Brenner just laughed, cupping the boy's small face.
"My little hero-"

"SEB!" DUSTIN DRAGGED THE BOY BACK TO THEIR HIDING SPOT. "First floor, Northwest." Erica went on, Seb staring at the wall ahead of him. "Saw what?" Steve asked, Erica fed up. "The comms room." She informed, Steve shrugging. "You saw the comms room?" Steve asked as if he didn't believe the young girl. "Correct." Erica assured, Dustin looking to her. "You sure?" He asked, Erica humming. "Positive. The door was open for a second and I saw a bunch of lights and machines and shit in there." Erica listed, Dustin humming. "That could be a lot of different things." He spoke, Seb looking back to the room. "I'll take those odds." Robin told Steve, him sighing. "All right, we're gonna move fast, we're gonna stay low." Steve ordered the group, Seb looking to him. The two made eye contact, Steve silently checking if he was alright.
Nodding slowly, Steve looked to the rest of the group. "Okay?" He asked, Robin nodding. "Okay." Following Steve, the group moved behind a couple of crates, Seb being at the back. Everyone else was speaking Russian except the group, them following Steve again. "Shh!" He assured, watching a woman move out of a room. Seb stared at the door, it staying open. Steve looked back at the boy, nodding. "Let's go." Steve hurried through, everyone following. Seb stopped his powers as Steve held the door, him rushing everyone in. "Come on, sh." He urged, Seb being the last to come in. Which means he was the last one to see the Russian guy at his desk. Turning around in his spin chair, the man observed everyone before seeing Seb, standing up quickly.
This caused the young boy to step back, the Russian reaching for his gun. "Tread lightly!" Robin stepped forward, speaking in Russian. Seb stayed frozen, as did everyone else as they watched Robin. "Tread lightly!" She repeated, the man confused. "Who are you?" He asked in Russian as Robin pointed to herself. "Silver cat... silver cat." Robin symbolised her 'tail', the man shaking his head. "I don't understand. Are you detaining Seven?" He asked, Robin tilting her head. She only caught the first part. "China?" She asked, referring to the code as she stepped forward again. The man only scoffed, taking his gun out before Steve yelled. Seb flinched, as did everyone when Steve sprinted towards the man, shoving the two on his desk. Easily throwing him to the side, Steve held onto the desk he was thrown onto, getting back up quickly to punch the man.
Dodging a punch, Steve kicked the man's knee, causing him to stumble back. Just as the man was about to point his gun at the group, especially Seb, Steve grabbed a nearby phone and hit him in the head very hard. This made the man fall onto the ground, knocked out. No one seemed to notice his caution and urge to kill Seb, staring at Steve. "Dude! You did it!" Seb looked up from the Russian to Steve. "You won a fight!" Dustin cheered, Seb smiling shakily. "Jeez..." Steve laughed softly, feeling accomplished. Dustin rushed past Seb to the passed out Russian, taking his keycard as Seb walked forward slowly. Kicking his head lightly, the man was out cold. Observing the man's featured, Erica was confused. "What are you doing?" She asked, Dustin holding up the keycard. "Getting us our ticket out of here." Dustin informed, Robin rushing forward.
"You want to walk all the way back?" Erica scoffed, Seb stepping past the man and observing the room. "Well, we can hang out for a little bit, relax, have a picnic maybe." Dustin spoke sarcastically, Erica confused. "Have a picnic? We came here for the radio." She informed, Robin walking up some stairs. "This plan is way better. If I knew Steve could knock out a Russian, that would've been our plan in the first place." Dustin shot back, Seb looking over all of the controls. "Can you guys be quiet-" "Guys." Robin spoke, everyone looking to her as she interrupted Seb. "There's something up there." Robin informed, Seb being the first to move past her. Steve rushed afterwards, as did Dustin, Erica and Robin. Opening the door slowly, Robin led the four to what she found. Seb made sure the door was shut before turning around. He saw Dustin and Steve staring at him with wide eyes.
"What-" Seb stopped in his tracks. It couldn't be... could it? "Holy shit..." Dustin let out, Seb staring through the glass. Light pulsed as it lit up Seb's face, his shocked expression staying still as he watched Russian's use the green liquid on a machine...
That opened the Upside Down.
A loud shrieking sounded, a familiar one. Stepping back slowly, Dustin and Steve looked back at Seb. To see him deathly pale. "Hey!" Steve's motherly instinct kicked in quickly, rushing back to the younger boy when his knees buckled. "I need to sit down..." Seb spoke slowly and quietly, Steve catching him. "Okay, alright." Steve spoke, Dustin rushing to his side as Erica and Robin stood shocked. They couldn't take their eyes off of the scene ahead of them. Leaning Seb up against a wall, he stared at the wall as the light pulsed around his shadow.
