Sapphire Westlock
"Mhm. That's why ha man don't een like ha" Teyanna laughs. I was zoned out and hanging with Des and Tey. I think they were talking about Skylar.

It had been two weeks since she commented on my post, and the tension between her and Teyanna had only gotten thicker.

"Sapphire, you good" Destiny nudges me gently. "Yeah I'm good. I just miss Jah" I sigh. Him and Kooda had left to do a job for Hammer almost 2 weeks ago.

The "job" was all the way in Douglas and he hadn't texted or called me since. "Yeah. I miss my Koods. I wonder if they're okay" Teyanna says and sits down.

"I'm sure they are. Whatever they're doing, I know that they're being careful" Destiny nods and I shrug.

"Are you going to beat Skylar ass tho" I laugh and they all laugh with me.

A couple hours later, my phone rings. 'Jahbari 🕺🏾 is calling you'. "Jahbari" I say, hopefully into the phone.

"Sapph. I'm on my way to Atlanta. Are you at home?" he asks. "Really? I missed you so much. I'm at Des" I say and grab my bag. "Do you want me to go home? How far are you?" I ask.

"Oomze, stay there ight? I'a be there in an hour. I can't wait to see you for real I missed you so much" he laughs and I laugh back. "Okay, Jahbari. I'll be here. Kooda with you?" I ask and Teyanna wakes up.

"Kooda?" she says and snatches my phone away from me. They talk on the phone for a couple minutes and she hands me my phone back.

We chill in the living room and I decided to roll a blunt because I was bored.

Halfway through my blunt, the door opens. "Sapphire?" he yells and I run to him and hop on top of him. "Imma drop my blunt hol up" I say and get off of him.

He lays on top of me on the couch while Kooda and Teyanna immediately walk out the door. "What? You a smoker now?" he asks and hits the blunt that was in my hand.

"Ehh. I'll do a lil cheef here n there" I laugh. "Mm. That shit ain't good fo you jit" he says and sticks the blunt back in my mouth. "You a trip" I hit the blunt and put it back in my hand.

"Kiss on meeee" I whine and he just smiles. "You miss me huh" he cheeses again and I nod. "Come on" he says and I follow him to his room.

We spend a couple hours kissing and talking. "So what did you do whole time" I ask when me and Jah pull away from our umpteenth kiss. I watch as his whole demeanor changes.

"Jah?" I ask concerned and touch the side of his face. "Bae, I really don't wan talk bout it. Foh real" he buries his face in my neck and plants soft kisses in the same spot. "We don't have to. I'm sorry for asking" I rub his back, now actually worried about him.

"Are you having nightmares again?" I ask, playing with his earring back. "Yeah" he mumbles. I feel my neck get slightly wet and I hold him tighter.

"I'm always here for you. You're better than this Jah. For real" I say and kiss all over his face to calm him down.

A couple minutes later, he's dead sleep.

*one week before*

"Bro, real shit. Do you think we're gonna get caught?" Kooda asks as I load the gun. "Hell naw my boy. We just gon fire some shots. We not even finna hit the dude just scare him a little like Hammer said. Aight?" I reassure him and he nods.

We walk up to the house and pull our ski masks down so we can't be identified. I walk into the house first, clutching the glock Cousin gave me.

We survey the house quietly, until I hear bottles clinking. I run into the kitchen and point the gun at the culprit. He seemed to be 30, but looked messy and was definitely drunk.

"W-who the hell are you" he slurs and wobbles over to us. "Don't worry bout it. Nigga back up" I say and point the gun closer to his head.

He throws a bottle at me and I start shooting, not knowing where my bullets were going. It all happened so quick.

I open my eyes to see the man on the floor holding onto his leg. "Fuck. Bro we gotta go" Kooda says and pushes me towards the door.

I take one more look at him and tuck the gun into my pants before racing to the car.

"Holy shit my nigga. You just shot a mothafucka" Kooda laughs and I bang my head on the steering wheel. "Shit. I should call Sapphire" I say and pick up my phone but Kooda snatches it from me.

"Hammer said we can't talk to anyone until the job's done G" he reminds me and powers my phone off. "Fuck. I just miss my girl like damn" I smooth my brows with my fingers and continue driving.

We stay in Douglas until everything has calmed down, which is what Hammer told us to do.

A week later, we're on the drive back to Atlanta. When we were 30 minutes away from home, I call Sapphire.

The next stop we make is the trap. "Whaddup blood" Hammer nods at me and Kooda as we walk into his office. "Hey Cousin" I dap him up and hand his gun back to him.

"Y'all did good. Don't worry, Imma have someone clean up yo' little mess" he smirks at me and I nod. "Is the nigga dead?" I ask and he rubs his hands together.

"Naw, just a little bruised up. He'll be ight" Hammer shrugs and heads to the safe at the back of the room. He counts out two stacks of straight hundred dollar bills and hands us each one.

"That's 7" he nods and my mouth drops open. "My nigga, 7" I exclaim and he laughs. "I gotchu my boy" he daps me up again. "Go see yo baby moms I know you miss ha" Hammer nudges his head towards the door and I race towards the car.

We park outside the house and I walk in. "Sapphire?" I yell and she comes running out the living room with a blunt in her hand.

We spend a couple hours talking and chilling until I fall asleep with her in my arms.

"I know what's good for you" my stepfather says and pulls me towards him. Everything feels numb. When the needle goes into my skin, the mirror to my left breaks and I start falling, I don't know where.

That's the day I lost myself.

I wake up in cold sweats to an empty bed. "Sapphire" I call out and get out of bed. "I'm in here" she calls from the bathroom attached to my room. I walk in and she's getting ready with no shirt on.

"Whatchu doin" I say and snake my arms around her waist. "Getting ready" she says softly, still applying her makeup. "Why you ain't got no shirt on" I move my hands up and cup her boobs.

"I just got out the shower" she laughs and kisses my chest. "Are you ok?" she asks when she turns around. "Yeah. I just had a nightmare" I sigh and stick my head into her shoulder.

"What are you getting ready for" I say and bend her over the counter slightly. "Tey and Kooda are going to a kickback. You wanna go?" she asks. "Mhm. It's ops there?" I ask back and she shakes her head.

"Bet. Bae you look so good" I kiss her a couple times until her face is slightly red. "You play too much" her laugh fills the room and she pushes me.

"Can we just stay here? I wanna be with you" I whine and start sucking on her neck to persuade her. "Aght. Nope. I'm going I already told Tey I would" she says shakily.

"Hmph. Ight" I say and detach my mouth from her neck. She turns back to the mirror and rolls her eyes when she sees the purple mark I left.

"Jah, you are so irritating" Sapph huffs and starts covering it up with makeup. "Fuck allat. Leave it" I smack the makeup sponge out of her and hand and get a slap in return. "You finna piss me off. Get out" she shoos me out and I pout.

"Baeee" I whine again and pull her closer to me. "I'm beyond serious Jahbari. Get out" she repeats and I leave before she gets red.

Half an hour later, she comes out of the bathroom dressed with makeup on. "Come here" I rasp and open my arms to her. Sapphire sticks her middle finger at me and starts putting on her jewelry.

"Sapphire. Don't make me do sum to you. Foh real girl I'm not playing" I say with a straight face and she comes over and sits next to me.

"What ever could I help you with Jah because I'm just here to service you" she rolls her eyes and I wrap my hand around her neck. "Stop playin wimme Sapphire" I pull her towards my face and tongue her down.

"Sheesh" she groans when I stop kissing her. "Lemme taste sum" I whine and lean her on her back. "I'm scared" she moves around and I hold her thighs down.

"Why is you running? Ain't shit to be scared of, if you don't want to say det" I respond and kiss her a couple times. "Is it gonna hurt?" she asks and I shake my head.

"Girl, no. I ain't putting nun in you I just wanna lil taste" I lick my lips and pull her pants down. I put my hand in her panties and rub her a little, watching as her expression freezes and she moans.

"It feel good?" I peck her lips and she nods. I smirk and rub a little faster as her moans get louder.

After a couple seconds, I go down on her and press my lips to her clit. "Oh fuck" she says as I lick up and down her lips. "You taste good baby. You like this" I ask and put my tongue inside of her.

"Oh shit Jah" she moans and releases into my mouth. I lick it all up, pull her panties up and give her a kiss. "You like it?" I ask and she nods.

20 minutes later, we pull up to the house this party was supposed to be at. "Bae, do we really have to go? We can just chill in the car. I'll do that thing with my tongue again" I try to negotiate and she shakes her head.

"Definitely later though" she nods and gets out the car. "Fuck" I mumble under my breath. She way swaying her hips a little more than she usually does walking, making me go crazy.

I see some guy touch her ass and I spring out of my car. "Who the fuck" she says and back hands the dude. "Bae, let's just go home" I say and grab her waist. "Can we get food?" she asks and I nod my head.

We end up at iHop. "Lemme get a stack of pancakes, some bacon and an oreo milkshake" I order. Sapphire was passed out in the passenger seat.

"Sapphire" I nudge her. We had already gotten back to the house and she was sleep in my bed. "Mhm" she groans and moves around. "Bae come eat" I hand her a plate with an oreo milkshake and she flashes a smile at me.

"Thank you sweet boy" she kisses my cheek and climbs onto my lap with her plate. "Hmph. You should take this off" I say and move my hand up her dress.

"Where are your parents, Jah. They can't still be working" she says and I laugh. "They onna cruise bae" I respond, moving my hand further up and playing with the lace of her thong.

"Mmph. Okay. What are you doing" she asks and looks down. "I'm not doing nun mama" I kiss her a couple times and move my hand to pull her panties down. "Mm. Jah" she moans quietly.

"I'm not doin nun I just like em off" I respond and pull her dress off. Sapphire smiles and gets up, heading to my closet. I follow close behind her.

"Why you running" I ask and wrap my arms around her partially naked body. "I'm not. I just wan wear sum clothes if that's okay with you" she laughs and I roll my eyes.

She puts on one of my shirts, it almost drowning her body.

We smoke and chill for the next couple hours until I hear the door open. "Sapphire? I know yo ass in here prolly getting that treatment" I hear Teyanna slur. I look over to Sapphire who's dead sleep.

I put on a shirt and go downstairs, where Teyanna is laying on the couch and Kooda is in the kitchen. "Tey, do not wake Sapphire up. She be so red when I wake ha up" I facepalm.

"I been in and out yo LOVE CYCLES I read yo LOVE BIBLE blah blah blah HOOD SMILING" Kooda sings passionately, and loud. "Shut the fuck up Kadeem" I flip him off and they both start laughing. Shit faced mfs.

I go back in my room to see Sapphire sitting up rubbing her eyes. "Kooda loud ass" she laughs and I laugh too, sitting next to her. I pull her onto my lap and kiss her a couple times before putting her back to sleep.

"A whole trip" I laugh and her eyes shoot open with a mug on her face. "Who" she says angrily and I point to her. "Shut up Jah" she places her hands on my chest and pushes herself off my lap.

I look down to see a wet spot on my sweatpants. "That was you" we both say at the same time. "You was the only one on my lap wearing no underwear. Dirty" I roll my eyes playfully.

She was about to respond until she falls back. "Stop playin bae" I laugh and she doesn't move.

She starts shaking, her eyes rolling back. "Sapphire" I say frantically and grab her in my arms. I run to my bathroom and splash water in her face.

She takes a huge gasp of air and looks up at me.

"What the fuck just happened" I ask.
