"You know you two are going to be in a lot of trouble." I say
Peggy just shrugs and Howard smirks.

"You can make it up by stopping off in Lucerne for a late night fondue." Howard says looking behind him.

"Howard, turn your think head around and focus on flying." I say. Steve shoots me an concerning and confused look. I just shrug.

Peggy hand Steve a little device.
"This is your transponder, activate it when your ready you're ready and the single will lead us straight to you."

"Are you sure this thing works?" Steve asks Howard doubtfully

"It got tested more then you pal."

"Do you trust him?" Steve asks me

"Probably more then I should." I sigh looking at him. still not used to his new look. He turned from a skinny little kid to a solider . Suddenly the plane gets attacked by the familiar sounds of bombs. Steve stands up grabbing a parachute. I get one too.

"Get back here! we're  taking you all the way in!" She shouts.

"As soon as we're free, turn this thing around and get the hell outta here!" He yells back.

Steve dives and shorty after I do too. I feel the wind fly against my face pushing it slightly back. The adrenaline was like magic. The land was successful. Steve and I buried the parachutes underneath the mud, so Hydra wouldn't find them. We hind amongst the trees and watched the facility from a safe distance. It was well guarded. Steve and I both knew I was going to be tough.

"You first." I whisper with a hint of sarcasm, he nods and he runs towards the closest truck, I run just a second after him, i was fast too i jumped onto the truck with ease. Steve was knocking some Hydra soldiers out. I can her my  heart thump loudly in my chest, full of excitement. I try to block out the thought that Bucky might be dead, he has to be alive. The truck finally arrives at the facility and the curtain get removed by a Hydra agent, but before he can react Steve punches him in the face with his shield. We both sneak out of the truck and hope not to get caught, while making our way to the entrance.

"I don't mean to be rude, but I mean to be rude, your shield isn't exactly inconspicuous." I say sarcastically, as we try to walk stealthily.

"We need protection from he bullets. he points out and climbs up to the roof, waiting for me. "Do you want some help?"

"I can climb on my own rogers." I huff, I climb quickly almost slipping, this causes Steve to chuckle. "just because you're twice as strong as me doesn't mean I need help. This boots are the ones for the job."

"Sure." He laughs teasingly. We run through a dark corridor, we both stop at a door and take a peak though the glass. it looked like an industry, they're making huge weapons. Steve an I both know it we don't blow this place up, our country wont have high chances.

"How are we going to-"

Steve cuts me off by knocking at the door, making the Hydra person turn around and open the door almost immediately, Steve hits the guy face with the door. he then grabs the Nazi who is unconscious and drags him on the floor and hides him, before he enters the hall.

"Or did that." I shrug and follow him closely. A lot of gaurs were walking are all armed. We just needed to find the prisons, then we can rain hellfire.

we eventfully make it too a dark prison cell. Cells, They look like bird cages trapping at least 5 soldiers in one. Soldiers. Hundreds of Soldiers stare at us most of them look injured. Steve and I open the cells and let them be free.

"Who are you supposed to be?" A man ask Steve with confusion.

"I'm...Captain America." Steve hesitates for a moment.

I roll my eyes. Why did he use his stage name. But nonetheless I decide to us my operation name too. "My names Viper. But you can call me Nick."

"Nick?" Someone calls my name but i know its not Bucky's voice. I turn around to see a blonde middle aged man, around 35. How does he know my name? "Are you Nick? As in Bucky's dame Nick?"

"You know Bucky?!" My eyes widen and I run towards him. "Is he alive? Were is he?"

"I'm A friend of his. The name's Dum Dum Dugan." He introduced himself. "Bucky told me a lot about you. didn't think I would met you like this. But I don't know if he is alive or not. The last time I saw him was when they were dragging him away to the east for experiments. It was about a week ago."

"Alright, thanks" I ignore the fact that he's been there for a week. Seven whole days. I'm coming Bucky just hold on.

"Get out fast and give 'em hell. I'll meet you guys in the clearing with anyone else I find." Steve says as he opens the last cage.

"Wait! You know what you're doing?" The man keeps us back and Steve shrugs.

"Yeah. I've knocked out Adolf Hitler over two hundred times." Then he starts running. I look at him in utter confusion for a moment. then run behind him.

"Just saying I am never going it call you Captain America, Ever" I say while punching few guards.

"What do you mean?" He asks as we move our way to a lab. There was a loud bang outside. we knew that this is the fight. The 1-0-7th vs Hydra.

"Captain America is just a poster boy." I say dodging a blow and using my plasma to throw the soldier away.

He grins, using his shield to protect himself. I notice the security camera, following our footsteps. I use my plasma to blow it up. "Someone's watching us. We need to move fast."

Steve nods as we leave the lab. No traces of Bucky. As we step out into the hallway, I notice a small man escaping a room. He sees us too and freeze for a second, he runs away quickly.

The room. What if he's in there? What if... I run towards the room, as i enter it seems to be a lab as expected. Steve notices a map with red pins on it.

I look around the room I hear mumbling. His mumbling. My eyes widen as I turn around. I see him. Tried to a chair mumbling something in Russian and staring out to space.

"Bucky..." I let out his name overwhelmed by happiness at the end. He looks at me in shock.

"Nick?" his numbness breaks and he stares into my eye. His voice was soft and weak. He looks like he's been through hell and came back. A huge smile is on my face. Steve starts to untie him.

"Me and Steve." I say smiling.

"You're not supposed to be here, it not safe..." He coughs and Steve helps him up. He sounds torn apart. Broken. What did they do to him.

When he stands I don't even hesitate before putting my arms around him. Helping him stand. I pull him into a hug. I feel his heartbeat against mine. "I thought you were dead. They told me you died." 

"Did you really think I would leave you, Nicki?" He puts his arms around me and buries his face into my hair, his strong arms press me tighter against his chest, melting me into him. "Never. Your stuck me with forever."

Bucky looks up glancing at Steve. "What happened to you?"

"I joined the Army." Steve answers jokingly.

Steve and I support Bucky who's still weakened by whatever Hydra did to him. While half running half limping, Bucky stares at us in disbelief, especially when I kick open a door. "How long have I been there because apparently I missed a lot."

"If you knew..." I mumble, referring to my abilities.

We go up stairs and everything explodes below us, leaving a massive fire. The smoke fills the air making Bucky cough. Our eyes goes over to the metal bridge that leads us to the exit. Steve walks in front of us. There's someone on the bridge.

"Captain America!" An old man with a very thick German accent greets him. behind him is the man that Steve and I let run.

His glance lands on me and the creepy smirk for some reason I freeze Bucky notices and stand in front of me in a protective way. "The girl who took down a Hydra group and destroyed the security cameras. How should I call you? Viper or Nicole Beckett?"

"Your choice." I say trying not to be terrified by the fact that he somehow knows my name. "Your group must be full of weak people if a girl could take it down within seconds."

"you think your the only one with unnatural abilities? I admit that Howard Stark has done a great job and he'll eventually pay for it. But I'm the one with the success of human kind." He starts peeling off the skin of his face and it comes off like a mask, as he throws it into the fire.

"you two don't have one of those, do you?" Bucky says completely dumbfounded.

"You are gonna die for what you've done, Johann Schmidt." Steve threatens. " Not today, not tomorrow. And do you know why? Because I choose when you die."

"Don't overestimate yourself." He scoffs. "You and Beckett are deluded. You pretend to be simple soldiers, but in reality you are just afraid to admit that we have left humanity behind. You will fall."

"you're wrong/" My lips form a cold grin. "My rise has just begun."

Steve take the opportunity to punch him in the face. Making him fall and I fire a plasma ball at him. He gets up barley affected by Steve's Punch and he rubs his arm that got hit with my powers. The small man presses a button and Red skull is separated from Steve and me. Another explosion causes the ground to shake Steve's spots a metal beam, its the only way we will make it out alive.

"you first." I tell Bucky before he has the chance to say anything. "We don't have time and I'm a super soldier, go!"

He sighs and does as i say, making his way carefully over the beam. Another explosion cause the beam to shake, he pause and holds him breathe before jumping and only just making it to the other side before the beam falls to the ground. he turn and realise that Steve and I are stuck on the other side.

"There's got to be a rope or something!" He shout looking for something desperately.

"Just go! Get out of here!" Steve yells knowing that I'll be okay with that. I need to find a way out.

"No! not without you!" Bucky stay stubborn which doesn't surprised me. I look down it  pretty high but the distance between Bucky and Steve and I isn't far. its not impossible and its worth a try.

"Hey, Steve." I say nudging him with a smirk. "Feel like doing something crazy?"
