I woke up to the sound of Ume yelling my name. What could she possibly want? It was

The day after the dance and my body was aching. My feet especially, those heels definitely gave me bunions.

I heard her call my name once more before I got up and put on my slippers "coming.. I'm up..." I rub my eyes as I enter the kitchen, still adjusting to the lights.

"What could you possibly need this early in the morning? This is ridiculous." I Huff out once my eyes finally adjusted. "Those assholes gave us school today. They said it was for a refresher after the dance or whatever."

My eyes widened "why? I'm tired as hell I went to sleep at 3am last night." "So did I, but at least we have a free period." Ume responded.

"Mhm.. And that's supposed to make me feel better?" I give her a look as she smiles cluelessly. "It doesn't?" Ume chirps

I pinch the bridge of my nose and walk back to my room to start getting ready for school, absolutely dreading today.

I was walking to my second period when ume came running to me yelling my name. "Y/N!! you won't believe what I heard!" I was startled as she gripped my shoulders.

"What? What happened?" I was panicking as well, expecting the worst. Which it was the worst. "Literally the whole school saw you leave with Michikatsu last night and they're saying you slept with him!"

My heart drops to my stomach. I never imagined them that way, even if there was romantic tension between us. "You're not lying are you!?" I grip ume's shoulders back.

She shook her head and I felt devastated. I knew Michi was probably uncomfortable with all of this and he'd hate me. I had to find him as soon as possible to settle this.

I bumped into him on my way to the lunch line. He seemed to be avoiding me again for obvious reasons; he probably heard the rumors too. "Michi let me talk to you.." I Huff out.

I was caught off guard when he shot a disgusted look in my direction. I felt embarrassed and just left to tell ume. I ran into haruhime who laughed and said "how did it go last night? Was it just as big as your appetite?"

I scoffed and pushed her aside before stomping to the lunch table ume was seated at. "He's ignoring me now!" I said while slamming my hands on the table and sitting down.

"He as in Michikatsu!?" Her eye brows ruffled as she said that. "Yes! He's acting like I'm a wad of gum that got stuck to his shoe!" I huffed. "Ugh as if he wasn't the one making googly eyes at you.." Umes nose scrunched in disgust at his behavior

"All he cares about is himself watch him make a fool of me so people start thinking differently of us." "Just block him there are better guys out there." Ume reassured me while patting the top of my head.

"I should but maybe he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.." I lie to myself "girl be for real he's acting like you ran over his dog and taxidermied it as an apology gift" ume said.

I sigh and bury my face into my arms. Everyone was probably gonna think I am a whore or something. I hated my life in that moment I wanted to nuke the school with everyone inside of it.
