after the unexpected sex izzy and daniel had, there was no more communication between the two.

it almost seemed like daniel was avoiding her and it was also bad because why don't we have left france already.

the next morning, izzy got a call from her manager, grace to talk about something very important.

izzy walked into the kitchen and turned on the kettle to get herself some tea for the road. when it was boiling, she scrolled through instagram to pass time.

she heard the click of the kettle, signalling it was ready, so she walked over to the bay, and picked it up while continuing to look on her phone.

she tilted the kettle accidently so some water spilled on her foot - burning it badly.

"fuck this, fuck life." izzy muttered and rolled her eyes. she walked back upstairs to the shower and turned the cold water for her foot.

her phone rang in the process. she saw it was grace, and she accepted the call. "uh, hi grace what's up?" she asked while trying to get her foot under the water.

"isabella! your meant to be here thirty minutes ago! where are you?" grace said sounding annoyed.

"i'm sorry, okay! i spilled hot fucking water on my foot and it burned so i'm running cold water under it." izzy cursed.

grace sighed and said, "well, come fast it's very important." "yeah, of course." izzy said and hung up.

izzy stayed there for an extra few minutes, and the burn cooled off so she hopped out of the shower and put some clothes in.

"so, you can move back to los angeles if you want. there's a headquarters being set up there and we need models located in los angeles and we immediately thought of you, so do you want to go?" grace said.

izzy debated on whether she wanted to move back to los angeles, because one - she might run into daniel.

 after all, you can't just fuck around with a girl then move on? izzy was pissed to say the least. why did she sleep with daniel? why did daniel-

"isabella? are you paying attention?" grace said interrupting izzy's daze. "what? oh yeah um-" 

"isabella, you need to make your decision quickly, because we have others to ask." grace said sternly.

izzy gulped and nodded. it would be nice going back to the united states. "i'm going." she blurted out.

"okay, so it will take a few days. and of course, L'Oréal will provide your apartment, so no worry there but can you pack your stuff please?" grace asked looking at the girl.

"yeah, of course." izzy said and walked out of the apartment.
