luke holds my hand as we walked over to jess after the date. 'enjoy it?' she asked, looking at the floor. 'yeah, i did. i don't know about amy.' luke smiled at me, i stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. 'i enjoyed it.' i grinned up at luke making situations even more awkward. 'amy, can we go for a chat?' jess hesitantly asked me. 'of course.' i chuckled holding the drink jess kindly made for me.

we sat on the day beds together looking at the pretty night sky. 'hiya amy, can i call you amy or do i have to call you amy jane?' jess politely asked. 'amy will do, some people call me janey but you can call me amy.' i giggled nervously. 'alright amy, i'm jess. nice to meet you. i just wanna chat about this whole situation with luke.' this was the part where i was going to get hurt. 'alright, go ahead.' 'so, me and luke do have a good thing going and don't get me wrong you sound like a lovely girl but can you back away from luke a little bit? i get that you're new and you are gonna have to pick someone but it's the start for me. like your perfect for him, you're small, beautiful, bubbly and i'm not.' oh hell no.

'okay jess, i know where you're coming from but at the end of the day, i'm doing this for myself so i will get to know him.' i was quite fuming actually. 'i get that, yeah i get that. but you wouldn't like it if this is happening to you.' 'i would be mad but i believe everything happens for a reason so i know that he must not be my true one.' i tried to make things more friendly but jess started to get angry. 'you know what amy? i'm not bothered what you believe, i'm not bothered if you're in here for yourself. you can't be so cocky and so heartless, trust me, you won't stand a chance in here.' jess spat and then walked off to luke.

'what was that all about?' sophie and shaughna sat on the daybed with me and put their arms around me. 'oh jess...' i unclearly said because my tears were dropping down my face. shaughna wiped my tears with her finger and said 'listen amy jane, you are gonna do you. you are not going to care what jess says because she is jealous. jealous that you and luke had a date right?' i nodded. 'yeah, i mean. you can tell us the full story later but yeah, people like that really annoy me. like, why is she so salty?' sophie sadly smiled at me. 'in fact, stay with shaughna and i'll talk with jess.'

'sorry this is not the real me, i'm sorry this is your impression of me.' i giggled through my tears. 'oh no darling, it's fine. i'll be your big sister, only if you're younger than me obvs.' we both giggled. 'yeah, i think i'm younger than you. i'm 21, what about you?' '25, i feel so old though. like, i feel like i should me on 'middle aged love island.' she chuckles. 'nah hun, you're young. it's better to be older because you're more mature.' 'how about tonight, you get in bed with me and callum or i will just kick callum off the bed, and we will do face masks in the morning and spot cream at night.' we both share a laugh. 'not like you need spot cream or anything.' she smirked. 'yeah, i think i do need spot cream.' callum, in bed with me? is she mad?!

after about ten minutes, we go to sophie who is with jess. 'right amy, i am sorry for being too harsh on you on your first day but do you see where i'm coming from? i hope you don't think i'm a bad person but i'm just trying to mark my territory if you get what i mean.' i nodded in agreement. 'yeah i totally understand, you did make me upset but i think me and you can get through it.' jess opened her arms for me to hug her and we shared a hug. 'awh friends.' sophie and shaughna said in unison which made us all laugh.

i made my way over to luke m who was with luke t and callum at the bar. 'hiya guys, lovely to meet you again.' i shook hands with them all but luke m gave me a hug. 'we were just talking about you.' luke m smiled, grabbing me a chair to sit next to him. 'awh, you guys are so sweet.' i talked to the boys for a while and i never thought they were all so funny. but then, luke m pulled me over for a chat.

we held hands whilst walking to a day bed where shaughna, sophie, callum and luke t were spectating. 'they're cute.' i could hear shaughna whisper to them. 'so amy, i do want to talk to you because you've made my head scrambled.' he laughed and put his hand on my thigh. was that happening? 'awh luke, you do make me smile.' he gulped nervously, awh. 'i do like jess but you, you are just everything i want. i've found you so nice, polite, kind and funny and so sweet. you are so gorgeous as well and i feel like we will really have something.' i nearly cried in happiness, it could work. 'oh luke, i feel the same about you. that's why i've picked you, you are obviously so handsome but you've got a personality as well.' and just like that, his lips connected with mine and we kissed.

'OH MY GOD!' was all i could hear from the girls. the boys were so excited for me and luke. 'make it a thing!' paige chanted and then siannise joined in, sophie and shaughna, leanne, demi, rebecca...

jess ran off into the villa, followed by rebecca who immediately thought through on why she was chanting.
