The goodbye. {everything escalates pretty quickly}

"Are you damn sure the brat's here?" Bakugou and Kirishima walked towards the hospital's entrance.

"Yeah, she volunteers quite often here, and is always here on weekends up until 6:30 in the evening." Kirishima took slow steps, knowing that you were going to be there. Y/n, the person he was in love with, his heart was beating fast and with joy.

"I'll stay out here while you go, I'm not here for her anyway." Bakugou sat at a bench near the entrance and pulled out his phone, swiping away at the screen.

"Oh okay, I'll be out soon." Kirishima's hand reached the door's handle, pulling it open and stepping aside, his breath getting shaky.

The aura that surrounded throughout the hospital wasn't a good one.

"Doctor, we have a patient in the room, we're losing them!" A nurse, dressed in white, yelled through the hall.

"Give me a quick run down on the patient." The doctor rushed towards the nurse.

The nurse began flipping through the clipboard she held, "Y/n, Y/n Yoshida. Diagnosed with-"

That's when Kirishima froze in place, he felt as if everything came crashing down at that very instant.

On instinct, he began walking quickly, following the doctor and nurse. They walked into a room, three nurses and one other doctor already in there.

Following behind, as he turned a corner, he saw the room you were in and ran in there, "Y/n! Please, no no no!"

"Young man, you can't be in here! Someone get him out of here, now!" A nurse began leading Kirishima towards the door whispering apologies.

"I'm sorry but you need to leave before you get into trouble, sweetheart." Kirishima felt as if he couldn't breathe properly.

But before the door closed on him, the sound of a flat line rang throughout his ears. And before he knew it, your lifeless body was being covered with white sheets.

Kirishima sobbed uncontrollably. He couldn't believe what had happened in a matter of minutes. On a trip to see you, to say;

I love you.

Three words he couldn't say to you, in person.
