Everybody knew that Spot Colon, the Brooklyn newsie 'King' was a bit egotistical. So it didn't surprise you that he was staring at you as you preformed with Medda, and gave you a confident smirk when you noticed. You had been friends with Jack Kelly for a long time, even before he first stumbled upon the theater. You met the Manhattan newsies in no time, and they became like a second family to you. It was like they were your older brothers, and you were the sister that no one could touch because of them. They were always chasing off boys, claiming that none of them were good enough for you. So of course, when newsies from all over New York were coming for a rally, they made sure you were not surrounded by rude boys. But, Spot never really approached you. He saw how protective the others were, so he didn't even bother. But that didn't stop him from staring.
