olivia's pov

"go away," i groan, hearing someone knock on my door. "i'm not going anywhere, olivia!" conan says as he opens my door. "do i need to smack some sense into you?!" i sigh, closing my eyes again. "okay first of all, you broke up with Y/N L/N publicly AND drunk, and then you lay in bed for 2 days and only get up to do necessary stuff?!" conan puts his hands on his hips, standing beside the bed. "have you even texted her?" "no point." "have you seen what she said with paparazzi a few days ago?" "no." conan pulls out his phone, typing a few things. "look." i open my eyes, watching the video. "it's been everywhere, you and olivia rodrigo kissing, but now you guys recently unfollowed each other on socials! any tea on you two?" "the kiss wasn't anything, we weren't anything." the video stops, and i look up at conan. "what do you want me to say, conan? i can't do anything to fix it, no matter how much i want to. i don't know what got over me that night, or why i was avoiding y/n." "stress?" "that's not an excuse, she was right. i don't know what's gotten into me." conan sits on the side of my bed, a brief silence taking over. "maybe you should try getting on good terms with her." "you don't know how many times i've heard that." "well maybe there's a reason everyone's saying it, wink wink, because it's true." conan exaggerates on the winks. "i don't know, conan. i really hurt her." 

conan sits beside me as i go to y/n and i's messages. a wave of guilt washes over me as i see the texts y/n sent- which i chose to ignore. "what should i say?" i ask, looking at conan. "i don't know, just start with something simple incase she doesn't respond." i think for a second, typing 'y/n i'm really sorry, can we talk?' "how about this?" "i'm not gonna tell you what you can or can't type, liv. just say whatever you feel." i take a deep breath, hitting send.

y/n's pov

i hug zendaya as i see her walking into my trailer. "few more weeks on set y/n!" she says excitedly. "i know, i'm not ready for this movie to be over yet." i say, smiling.

"well i got connors, i've already cured him once so it's no big deal." andrew garfield says. tobey and i stare at him blankly. "what? it's no big deal." "great!" tobey says beside me before i look at him. "yeah, that's great." i say to andrew. he walks away, and tobey talks. "i think i can make an anti-serum for doctor osborn, been thinkin' about it for a long time... we gotta cure all of 'em, right?" "right," i say softly, looking at tobey. "yeah, it's what we do." he replies back, walking away. "AND CUT!" i smile, looking at everyone. 

i sit in the acting chair, starting to talk about tobey and andrew. "we all have something that no one else really understands, and i think for the 3 of us, it was so nice to be able to share that with someone." the camera stops and i clap along with everyone else, getting out of the seat. my phone buzzes, and i pull it out, reading the message. 'y/n i'm really sorry, can we talk?' a message from olivia pops up. i sigh, putting my phone back in my pocket. "you okay, y/n?" zendaya asks. "yeah, i'm all good. you?" "i'm great, wanna grab dinner?" 

i park the car on the curb outside of 'los burritos' knowing it's zendaya's favorite food. "you know me so well!" i laugh, and we both get out of the car. "so... tell me about you and your lover!" zendaya says, taking a bite of her burrito. "olivia?" i assume. "yeah, olivia." "no, we aren't dating." i say, taking a bite of my burrito. "seriously? didn't you guys kiss?" zendaya asks, going for chip in the middle of our table. "yeah, i mean we used to date. until like 5 days ago. but speaking of dating, how's you and tom?" i subtly change the subject. "we're going great!"

after dropping zendaya home, i tap on olivia's message, reading it again. i reply, and seconds later, olivia responds.

"that's so bullshit!" i yell at myself, turning off my phone. "i mean, what did you expect?" gracie says beside me. "i would've stopped you, but you seemed really... i don't know, passionate about what you were saying?" gracie says. i open the text messages again, hoping y/n would somehow text me again saying she could talk. "looking at the messages isn't gonna hypnotize her into texting you. maybe it's a sign for you to focus on your career and for her to focus on hers, especially with her filming her new spider-woman movie."
