There was something about Braeden Lemasters that Y/n knew she always loved. She didn't know what exactly though, it could've been his eyes, his heart, how sweet he was, his hair, man she could go on forever.

If others were to take a guess in what she loved the most, it would be how he looks out for her. In which was a way she'd never been looked out for before.

Now, she sat, in Cole's backyard, staring at him from far away. She watched him converse with Danny and Remi, and her eyes practically turned into hearts as she looked at him.

"Wow, so you have a crush." Dylan giggled, snapping the girl out of her trance, causing her to jump. Her drink slightly spilled out and this caused Dylan to laugh even more as the young girl shook her head.

"On- on who? Braeden, c-cause like no. I don't." She stuttered greatly, and Dylan only watched in amusement before she spoke up again quickly. "D-doesn't-isn't he talking to another girl anyways?" She coughed out this question, looking from Dylan back to Braeden who laughed loudly, shaking his head.

"Well.. I've heard him talk about one girl recently." Dylan shrugged, still watching Y/n who looked over to him in shock, her lips curving downwards slightly.

"Who?" She asked, as if it was a reflex and Dylan laughed loudly before shaking his head.

"You." He had whispered, before patting her back and walking off, over to Lydia who sat with friends.

She awkwardly turned from Dylan again, though this  time she was greeted by a sweet smile as her absolute favorite boy walked over, giving a warm wave.

She smiled back, clearing her throat and yes she was freaking out. Her eyes traveled him as a whole. She studied the colorful and perfect outfit he had on, that went incredible with his eyes for a few seconds before looking up.

"You look lonely." He leaned against the brick along with the girl who looked up at him, hugging herself as she felt the breeze against her bare legs.

"Oh yea, everyone just ditched me." She joked, and her eyes lit up as he gave a soft laugh.

"I won't ditch you."

Him saying that gave her extreme butterflies, not only because it was sweet to say but it meant Braeden would be with her for a while and that made her happy.

She heard him clearing his throat, and she looked up at him to see his awkward glance and smile to her.

"Wanna uh- go chill in the front?" He softly asked, letting out a nervous laugh towards the end of his sentence.

Y/n opened her mouth to say yea, but she only nodded and hummed. Braeden smiled in response and walked forward as she followed him.

The two shortly found themselves sitting on the sidewalk in Cole's front yard, and he held his Lacroix tightly before glancing to Y/n who continued to hug herself.

"You go back to filming..tomorrow?" Braeden asked the girl who continued to look up at the sky, seeing a few stars which was extremely rare in LA, so she cherished them.

"Mhm. Yea, I do." She nodded slowly, and he thinned his lips, slightly scooting closer to the girl who didn't notice, she was way too nervous to.

She was never really nervous around Braeden but tonight was somehow different.

"Do you-" as he began to speak, the girl looked up at him finally, and she now found he was a few inches  away from her, his shoulder nearly pressed up against hers.

She widened her eyes slightly, pulling her sleeves down, and Braeden stopped speaking mid sentence to clear his throat.

He continued speaking, he was an outgoing boy and it was showing now slightly. "Do you ever.." he continued to speak but Y/n only stared, and his eyes traveled to her lips. He mentally cursed himself, because he could've just totally made her uncomfortable, but he couldn't help it.

Her lips were a soft pink color, she had chapstick on clearly because they were shiny, and tinted. He would look up to her eyes every now and then, a few times to see her growing more flushed.

Though as he looked to her eyes, after taking one last glance at her lips, he found her eyes traveling to his.

"What.." her voice was soft, barely audible, but Braeden was close enough to hear. "What we're you going to say?" She said this while staring at his lips, but when she finished she finally looked up at him.

"Oh, if you ever- like, just- k-kinda-" he clearly couldn't focus. They're faces we're closer now since they both discreetly leaned in and in between every word he glanced to her lips, and she took notice to this.

"Braeden." Her whisper sent actual chills down his spine, and he gulped before nodding in response.

"You never finished your question." She gave a small smile, and he didn't smile back, he'd only felt a huge pit in his stomach.

"Yea, I just.." he gave a whisper back before sighing, placing his hand on her cheek and quickly pulling her in for a kiss.

The moment before their lips met felt like the longest to the both of them.

And when they finally met, they felt completely satisfied. It was not only the fact that their lips meeting felt long, it was that they felt this moment was long awaited too.

"Is this okay?" Braeden's breath hitched as he pulled away, searching Y/n's eyes who nodded, her eyes looking to his lips now before she grabbed his face and pulled him in again.

The kiss was long, and it was very much what she wished any kiss she'd have would ever be.

When they'd pulled away, Braeden felt his smile grow until his face began to hurt. "I've been waiting to do that like all night." He softly spoke.

"Really?" Y/n laughed, "Now that I think of it. You made it pretty obvious I just-" she shrugged slightly, "I was in my head about stuff, stuff being you." His cheeks grew pink as she said this, and he nodded.

The two sat there for the rest of the party, and they watched guests leave, people enter the whole night. It lasted for a few hours and they loved every minute of it.
