CELIA WAS TERRIFIED. the day had finally come. most of the crew were about to leave the house for some late night lazer tag, and sophia said that they would be gone for hours. this was because celia had to go through jack's phone, and she needed some time to go through it, and even more time to collect herself afterwards.

celia was sitting on the couch in the living room, her eyes were closed as she tried concentrating on what the group in the kitchen were saying.

"why the fuck do i have to leave my phone here?! there's no reason to besides the fact that you're all assholes." jack argued. he waved his phone around in one hand, while the other was at the bridge of his nose.

"you need some time off it, dude. this whole vacation you've been on it and have been treating us, your friends, like shit. dude, you've been treating your girlfriend like shit, too! do you know how many times we've all had to comfort her after you've been a total dick to her?" finn retaliated. he pointed his finger at celia and then pushed it into jack's chest.

"finn, be quiet." sophia mumbled, her attention focused on celia.

"no, soph. he needs to hear what he's been doing."

"shut up finn." jack groaned, as he tossed his phone on the island. "there, happy?"

"yes, very much so." jaeden said, nodding his head.

celia kept her mouth shut. her thoughts were jumbled and piled up in her head, and she couldn't calm down. she kept her face calm, though, as she was breaking down on the inside. she tried tapping the back of the couch in a rhythm to try to calm herself down, but it didn't work.

"whatever. let's just go." jack shrugged, and the group started to walk towards the front door, finn staying behind.

chosen turned around and pretended to be confused. "aren't you coming, finn?" he asked.

finn shook his head. "actually, i think i might've eaten something weird like celia did. i'm gonna go lie down."

chosen nodded his head. "got it man. i hope you feel better."

"thanks."

and with that, they all head out the door. celia heard the car start and drive off, and the knot in her stomach grew bigger. finn turned and head over to celia, sitting down on the chair next to the couch.

"we have like five hours until they get back. do you want to go through it now or wait a little bit?" he asked, his hands clasping and unclasping nervously.

"i'm...i'm going to do it now, i guess. i just want to get it over as soon as possible." celia answered, and distracted herself by staring at finn's hands. he had really nice hands.

"okay. do you want me here with you or do you want to do it yourself?"

"do you mind letting me do it myself?"

"of course not, cee. i'll be upstairs in my room packing if you need me." finn said, and he head off towards the stairs and up to his room.

okay, she thought, deep breaths. you got this. it won't be that hard. all you have to do is pick up the phone, use the face id, and you'll be in. then, you'll go through everything. it'll be easy.

celia got off the couch and grabbed jack's phone from the kitchen, and proceeded to run back over to the couch. she positioned the phone in front of her face and it unlocked. see, easy. now you just have to go through everything.
