"đ đđđ'đ đđđđđđđ đđđ đđđ đ đđđ đđđ đđ đđđ đđđ đđđđđ." Missy grumbled as she stumbled out of the bustling club, arm in arm with Mollie. Glancing at her phone, the blonde's eyes widened. "Oh my god, check the group chat, Mollie! Nas says she kissed Lila!"
"No way!" Mollie squealed in delight, clapping her hands together excitedly for her friend. "I just knew that sexy Scottish teacher had a thing for our Nas!"
The two girls' heels clacked against the pavement as they made their way back to the train station. The combination of the many shots that they'd taken that night as well as their excitement for Nas meant that their chatter was definitely waking up anyone and everyone in the houses that they passed, but quite honestly they didn't care. They were so full of happiness that nothing could bring them down.
Well, almost nothing. As they reached the train station, the Wilson girl turned to her best friend.
"Miss, what times our train at?"
"Half eleven, that's when the last one leaves until the morning."
"Are you joking?" Mollie deadpanned as the cold realization dawned on her. "It's half two in the morning. We missed the last train."
"No, don't be silly." Missy rolled her eyes, waving away Mollies words with a dismissive hand. But as she took her phone back out and looked at it, her face dropped instantly. "Crap. You're right."
The two girls exchanged a look that could only be described as sheer panic. Missy groaned as she slumped against a nearby wall and a hand through her hair anxiously while Mollie began to pace back and forth, racking her brain for ideas.
"How about we get a taxi?" She suggested suddenly.
"Yeah, 'cause that'll only cost us an arm and a leg." Missy replied sarcastically, flashing the brunette a thumbs up. "Bagsie my arm and your leg."
"Fine, what about a bus? There's gotta be some kind of bus station around here."
"Nope. I am not walking to find some stupid bus station. My feet are killing." Missy fired back, shaking her head vigorously.
"Well, why don't you think of something then, genius? Maybe before we freeze to death would be nice." Mollie huffed, clutching Riz's jacket closer to her body as she felt the cold pinch of the night air.
"Fine, i will." Missy sighed, before chewing down on her lip as she began to think. Suddenly, the solution came to her. "Your fella has a car, don't he? Why doesn't he just come pick us up?"
Mollie's eyes widened as she looked at the blonde, a smile growing on her face. "Missy Booth, you're a bloody genius!"

Missy passed out into a deep sleep the second she got in the car, while Mollie opted to sit and look out of the window as they drove, something she always found calming. Glancing over at her, Kieran felt a soft smile play on his lips as he watched her. Her long, brown hair fell in messy curls around her shoulders, her hazel eyes flickered gently as she stared out of the car window and pulled her jacket closer to her body for warmth.
Wait a second. He narrowed his eyes at the black denim jacket she was wearing, one that he didn't recognize.
"Who's jacket is that?" He asked in his most casual tone, raising his eyebrows.
"A friend let me borrow it." She replied with a small smile.
"Oh cool." He nodded in understanding, before shrugging. "Who?"
"Riz." She stated plainly.
"Cory's friend Riz?"
"Ding ding ding, we have a winner." She chuckled, but furrowed her eyebrows when Kieran didn't laugh and simply nodded his head. "Oh, come on. You're not seriously getting jealous are you? Over a jacket?"
"Course I'm not jealous." He grumbled, pretty unconvincingly. "It's just...they always do that in them sappy films you make me watch. It's a pretty romantic gesture, ain't it?"
"What, making sure someone doesn't get hypothermia is now considered a romantic gesture? If you think I'm lying to you or something-" She began, starting to grow irritated with the boy.
"Oh, come on, Mol. I'm not accusing you of lying or nowt." He shook his head.
"Good, because you're not exactly a beacon of truth, are you?"
"Hang on, what's that supposed to mean?" Kieran asked, shooting her a look of some emotion between confusion and hurt.
"You told me you were staying at home to watch the footie, but I heard Reece Murgatroyd talking in the background when I called you. Starting to think you're the one having the affair or something."
"I did stay at home to watch the footie, I just invited a few friends round is all." He explained, before rolling his eyes. "And funnily enough, no, I'm not cheating on you with Reece Murgatroyd. I told you the other day, you can trust me, Mol."
"Well maybe you shouldn't make it so hard to trust you." The words escaped her mouth before she could even stop herself. Maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe it was just pent up frustration that she'd been waiting to release. Either way, she but her lip in guilt as she watched Kieran's face drop.
"I thought we were past this. I said sorry, I thought you forgave me."
"Nana says there are some things you can forgive but you never forget." A drunken Missy spoke up suddenly from the backseat, slurring not only from the alcohol but from the fact that she was half asleep.
"Yep, cheers, Missy for the input." Kieran muttered sarcastically under his breath.
"S'alright, babe." The blonde replied before drifting off again and letting out a loud snore.
He sighed, trying to regain his composure. "Look, Mol, we should talk about this tomorrow. When we both have clear heads, alright?"
"Fine. But only because I'm tired." Mollie huffed, crossing her arms defiantly as she turned away from him to look back out of the window.
"I know you are, babe. Try and get some sleep, and I'll pull over and get you both some chips when we get back to Ackley, alright?" He said with a gentle smile, rubbing her thigh softly for a moment as her eyes closed and she began to drift off. In a whisper, he spoke the words that he'd been wanting to say for a long while but had never found the right words. "I love you, Mollie Wilson."
