๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (or more accurately stolen) from her younger brother and propped it up against the wall of the house. It was a fancy house. Like, one of those huge ones with about three stories and an unnecessary amount of windows. It looked like some kind of Bond house compared to her humble little family home.
She swung the delivery bag off her back and took out the boxes of pizza before ringing the doorbell. One of them fancy high tech doorbells, of course.
After a few seconds, the door opened to reveal a young guy who looked like he was around her age. He was tall, with messy dark hair and handsome features, and he was dressed in a hoodie and joggers. She couldn't deny that he was a very good looking lad.
"Delivery for Nawaz?" She smiled up at him, holding up the takeaway boxes as if it wasn't obvious.
Taken aback that it wasn't the company's usual middle-aged delivery driver, and instead was a young, pretty girl with deep hazel eyes, the boy's eyes widened and he felt his cheeks flush slightly. He may have been the most popular boy in his last school, but that didn't mean he was any good with girls. "Oh...um...yeah that's us."
"Great." She grinned. "Would be a bit awkward if I'd got the wrong house, wouldn't it?"
Letting out a chuckle, he took the pizzas from her grasp and nodded his head appreciatively. "Thanks. Um, do we need to pay for these?"
"Nope. Your order's been prepaid."
He internally cursed himself. Why did he even say that? He was the one was placed the order online because his parents were useless with technology, meaning he knew that they'd already paid. How did he forget something like that?
He snapped back to reality, realising that he'd been weirdly standing at the door with the pizzas in hand for a little too long while she was just smiling politely back and shifting on her feet awkwardly. "Right. Um, great. Perfect. Brilliant. Thank you."
He offered her the most cool and casual smile he could and gave one last nod before tapping the door shut with his foot and sighing.
As the door closed, Mollie did her best to bite back a smile. She was more than used to teenage boys making comments about her appearance, or asking her out when she'd deliver their pizzas. But she'd never made anyone flustered before like that.
Smiling to herself as she got back onto her bike to move onto the next delivery, she couldn't help but hope that Posh Boy would order pizza again so that maybe one day she'd be able to see him again. He seemed nice.

"๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐." Cory Wilson snickered at his twin sister as she buttered a slice of toast beside him.
She rolled her eyes at him and shoved the toast into his hands roughly. "Yeah well this smelly tomato hair pays for your breakfast, so I'd shut it if I were you."
Cory smirked, taking a bite of the toast and ruffling his sister's hair. Of course, they loved each other dearly but they also knew how to really push each other's buttons. She swatted his hand away and retaliated by giving him a playful slap on the back of his head. "Alright, chill! I'm only joking, Mol."
"That's what I thought." She replied smugly, taking the victory as her own. "Anyway, you'd better hurry up and get changed. We can't be late on the first day."
It wasn't any ordinary day. Not only was it the first day back at school, but for the young students attending Ackley Bridge College, it was the first day of school altogether. Opened wth the aim of integrating the Asian and white communities within the town, the brand new secondary school was a pretty big deal and Mollie didn't intend to cause trouble on the first day.
"It's fine. I'll be ready." Cory replied defensively, placing his plate in the sink before heading upstairs to get changed.
A different set of footsteps came padding down the stairs, which Mollie instantly recognized as belonging to her younger brother Jordan. Glancing in the hallway, she noticed him slipping on his shoes with a sense of urgency and hurry.
"Jord, where you going? Kieran said he'd drop us to school."
Slinging his backpack over his shoulders, Jordan shook his head. "It's alright. I'm gonna go on my bike."
"Alright. Have you at least got something for lunch?" She asked him, fully aware that Jordan's eating habits weren't the best.
"Nah, I'll just go shop on my way."
"Don't be daft. Here." She sighed, fishing her own homemade cheese sandwich out of her bag and throwing it towards him. He caught it, but raised his eyebrows as if to check if she was sure. "Just take it, I'll make myself another one. Much better than you buying yourself one bag of sweets to last the whole day."
"Cheers, Mol." Jordan smiled sincerely at his sister, who always seemed to have his back.
"No worries, kid." She smiled back at him, watching as he put it in his bag and continued towards the door. "Just don't do anything stupid today, alright?"
Before shed even finished her sentence, Jordan was out the house and the door had been closed behind him. Wishing he could stay out of trouble for at least one day, she sighed hopefully and switched her attention back to her other brother. "Cory, hurry up! We're gonna be late!"

"๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐.." Cory nodded, fist bumping the older boy after getting out of the car once they'd arrived at school.
As the oldest child, Cory had always been very protective of his siblings, but mostly of his twin sister. So when she first brought home a scaffolder and introduced him as her boyfriend, he was not pleased at all. But after seeing that Kieran did actually care a lot about Mollie and made her genuinely happy, Cory grew to accept their relationship. After all, he wasn't a bad guy, and the free lifts to school that he provided were certainly a bonus.
While Cory walked off towards his group of mates, Mollie instead smiled up at her blue eyed boyfriend who was leaning against his car. "Thanks for the lift, babe."
"No worries darlin'." Kieran replied in his thick Northern accent while wrapping his arms around the girl's waist. "I wanted to come anyway, to make sure none of these new boys get any ideas about my girl. Gotta show them who they're messing with."
Mollie chuckled at him, before quirking an eyebrow and giving him a playful smirk. "And how do you plan on doing that, then?"
"Like this." He smirked, before leaning down to connect their lips in a passionate kiss. A few cheers and hollers could be heard from the kids around them, but it wasn't until Mollie heard one particular voice that they broke apart.
"Get a room, you two!"
"Missy!" Mollie squealed, before placing one last quick kiss on Kieran's lips. "Thanks again, babe. See you later!"
Before he could reply, she was off in a flash and bounding in excitement towards her friend. Watching her go, an amused smiled played on his lips before he got back into his car.
Meanwhile, in her excitement, Mollie had flung her arms around the blonde girl and nearly knocked her off her feet. "Woah, Mollie! Careful, babe, I've got a banging headache!" Missy feigned irritation for a moment, before caving in and hugging her friend back.
"Don't tell me you and Nas got drunk last night...without me." Mollie hit her shoulder playfully.
"I did invite ya, babe. Not my fault yeah had work." Missy gave the girl a pointed look, causing her to throw her head back and sigh in defeat. She was right.
"Where's Nas, anyway?"
Mollie knew Missy from their old school, where the two were practically inseparable and drove the teachers crazy until Missy had to drop out to help out her mum. She'd introduced Mollie to her best friend and neighbour Nasreen, and while they weren't quite as close, they'd still grown to be pretty good friends and Mollie hung out with them all the time.
In response to the question, Missy simply rolled her eyes and pointed over towards a group of new students, among which was Nas.
"They look well judgey, don't they?" Missy complained with a sigh, although Mollie couldn't see the problem. They looked alright to her.
"Maybe they'll be nicer once we've had a chat with them, yeah?" She smiled hopefully, throwing an arm around the blonde encouragingly. "Oh look over there, it's Miss Keane!"
Pointing towards their favorite teacher who was stumbling out of a taxi, it seemed like the perfect way to distract Missy. The two girls squealed and ran over to her, Nas joining them after a while.
As they filled Miss Keane in on their summers and she told them all about hers (well, as much as she could tell them considering she was a teacher), the bell rang out to signal not just the start of the day, but also the dawn of a whole new future for Ackley Bridge and everyone in it.
