"Sure, Lorenzo. Pick me up whenever." I joke, voice sarcastic but his face lights up.

"I'll pick you up at 5."

"Oh, shut up. I'm only joking." I say, giggling as he tucks some loose strands of hair behind my ear.

"Well, I'm serious. Please. You won't regret it."

"But... but, I need to-"

"You're breaking my heart here, love."

"Fine. One date, Enzo."

"I'll be at your dorm by 5!" Lorenzo says, winking at me and walking away, not giving me a chance to argue.

I smile at him, probably blushing.

Enzo had been wanting to take me on a date ever since the day I was moved into his potions class.

I had never let him, convinced he was probably just messing around with me.

He asked me out every day and I always laughed it off.

But, as I got to know him, I realized he was actually... such a good guy. And not to mention how good looking he was.

Deep down, I was already falling for him. I'm really not sure why I kept insisting that I couldn't date.

Lorenzo really did match my wavelength and all of my memories with him in class are good ones.

So here I am, getting dressed in some casual clothes to go out with Berkshire.

I'm wearing a nice beige dress, heels and silver jewelry. My hair is out and my makeup is simple, but gorgeous.

I look at my phone, and when it hits exactly 5pm, I hear a knock on my door.

"Hi." I say, looking up at Lorenzo on the other side of the door.

Fucking hell. He looks so good in his social outfit (a/n: search up social outfits male on safari).

"You clean up nice." I say, and Lorenzo just looks dumbstruck by me.

"You look so good, sweetheart. So gorgeous. And I mean, you look better than gorgeous. You look stunning, beautiful, ama-"

"I know what you mean." I say, laughing.

Lorenzo doesn't hesitate to link his arm in mine, leading me out of my dorm.

We arrive at a fancy but cosy restaurant, and he pulls my chair out for me to sit down.

He sits across from me and the conversation just flows, the vibe between us so comfortable.

I'm the one that bas to break the eye contact, but his eyes still follow mine as I laugh.

He reaches out to hold my hand and I let him.

"You're blushing." He teases.

"I'm not!" I lie, and he chuckles.

"Don't be ashamed. I know I'm just that charming and amazing." He jokes, but it's true.

He really is charming; a flirt, to be honest. He makes me smile, but he can be serious and compassionate too.

He agrees with me on the most important parts of life and he always makes me feel heard, and always wants me to talk about myself, saying he wants to know me better.

"So humble too." I say, grinning and he opens his mouth to speak, but the waiter comes over with our drinks.

I sigh with a smile on my face.

Lorenzo had ordered the drinks for us, since I had to go to the bathroom and guess what he got?

One large chocolate milkshake. With two straws. So romantic.

"I remember you told me chocolate was your favorite." He says, taking a sip of his straw and I giggle.

I take a sip out of the other straw and groan. So good. He smiles.

"Glad you like it, m'lady."

I see a purse fall down near my feet and pick it up, looking up to see an elderly lady with a smile.

I hand the purse to her with a smile and she thanks me, looking between Enzo and I.

"Thank you, sweetheart. Have fun on your date, you two are such a cute couple."

I open my mouth to correct her, but Berkshire beats me to it.

"Thank you." He says and the lady pats his shoulder as she walks off.

"We are such a cute couple." He says, winking at me as I roll my eyes.

I lean on Lorenzo as we link arms to walk back to the castle, resting my head on his chest.

"I had so much fun." I whisper, and I feel him place a kiss on my head, making the butterflies in my stomach go absolutely crazy.

"I'm glad. I told you that you wouldn't regret it." He says and I smile to myself.

We arrive at the castle, almost glued together. It's way past curfew, meaning we have to be quiet as we go up to the dorms.

He insisted that it was too much work for me to go to my dorm and that I should stay over at his.

"I know you want to, but we won't do anything, don't worry." He says, and I slap his arm playfully.

"If you want me to stay over just say that."

"You're staying over." He says, swiftly picking me up bridal style and I let out an acidental yelp.

"If you insist." I say, smiling as we reach his dorm and he plops me down on his bed.

I shower in his bathroom and put on his clothes, looking like a wreck because of how big they were.

"You look great." Enzo says, laying next to me... shirtless.

I try not to stare, but he can probably tell I'm flustered.

People might think that it's weird to get in a guys bed after the first date, but me and Berkshire clicked so well, nd he was far from a stranger.

So I was really comfortable with Lorenzo wrapping his arms around my waist and falling asleep next to me.
