I curled up next to Bellamy on the shared bed, his heavy arm draped around my slender body bringing me close. My hand and head rested on his bare chest, listening and feeling his pacing heartbeat. His body heat was radiating onto my skin like the sun.

My eyes were closed, trying to fall asleep but I just couldn't. My heart was broken in pieces. I felt as though this was my punishment, as if I deserved this pain.

Bellamy was the only person I had left. I had Monty and Jasper too but it just isn't the same. I move my head upwards so I get a look of Bellamys face.

His eyes were shut and his mouth hung open slightly. My eyes trailed to his plump lips. I place a two fingers on my lips as I think of the kiss we shared. A smile forming on my lips.

Octavia yelling outside woke Bellamy up. We share a look before rushing out of the tent. She points to the sky, an escape pod was flying down rapidly. A parachute slowed downed down the process as it landed in the forest nearby.

Everyone gets excited at the escape pod, "They are coming to help us. Now we can kick some grounder ass." The delinquents giggle along, "Please tell me they brought down some shampoo."

Bellamys concerned eyes catch mine, my eyes softened at him. I grab ahold of his hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. He lets go of my small hand and tells me to follow him.

We walk into a small red tent meeting with three other delinquents, "If it cleared the ridge than its probably near the lake." Octavia walks into the tent, "We should get going, everyones ready."

Bellamys lips move into a thin line while his arms are crossed, "No ones going anywhere. Not while it's dark it isn't safe. We'll head out at first light. Pass the word."

The three delinquents walk out, Bellamy and I follow behind them. Octavia stands in the way of Bellamy, "Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first? Bell, we should go now."

"I said we wait until sunrise," He snaps at Octavia. I look at him in concern, he avoids my gaze and walks out.

Octavia looks at me with pleading eyes, "He trusts you, please try change his mind." I shake my head, "I'll try Octavia, but he's as stubborn as it gets." I say jokingly, earning a small laugh from her.

I exit the tent and walk towards the tent I share with Bellamy, his shadow could be seen moving around the tent. I enter the tent as I watch Bellamy grab a backpack, shrugging it on his shoulder.

"Bellamy, you're leaving?" I question causing him to stop in his tracks. He lets out a deep sigh before looking at me. "I can't let them contact the ark."

I look at Bellamy with an uncertain look on my face, "Bellamy think about this. We need them to survive, Earth is more dangerous than we imagined and we can hardly look after each other. I mean look what happened with Jasper, Wells, Murphy and Charlotte."

He immediately stands in front of me gripping my shirt tightly, my feet lift off the ground slightly. I flinch at the sudden contact, tears brimming my eyes.

At this point I felt as though Bellamy was just like my father.

He goes to yell at me but immediately stops when he notices my feared expression. He lets go of me and brushes a hand through his hair, stressed.

He opens his mouth to speak but I interrupt him, "Don't. Just go." Bellamy attempts to talk to me again but I cross my arms, looking at him with a cold expression. He hangs his head lowly and walks out of the tent.

I sit on the croaky bed resting my elbows on my knees as my shaky hands hold my face. I had to remind myself that Bellamy is a good guy. Someone who would never hurt me. He was just scared.

But even good people can be bad sometimes.

I let out choked sobs, hot tears rolling down my cheeks. I quickly wipe my face when Clarke and Finn bolt into the tent.

Finn gives me a sympathetic look while Clarke gives a hard stare. "Where the hell is Bellamy?" Clarke asks rudely, no hint of remorse. Finn nudges her slightly shaking his head, indicating to be less harsh.

"We had a fight and then he left without a word." I say to her. Finn looks around the tent, "Gears gone." They both look at me, looking for some more in depth answer.

Clarkes mind suddenly clicks, I rub my arm soothingly in anticipation. The blonde looks at Finn, "He told everyone to stay. Whatever's in that thing, he wants it. We've gotta get there before he does."

They look back at me, I put on a clueless facade. Finn gives me a look, knowing that I was lying. He whispers to Clarke and asks if he can have a minute alone with me. She looks at the brown haired boy confused but leaves anyway.

The pair used to spend too much time together, dusk till dawn. They knew everything about each other. From what they liked to how they acted. They loved each other, more than they would like to admit. It wasn't a romantic love, it was rather a sweet platonic love. Or at least that's what they would say.

Finn sat down next to me, the bed dipping slightly. He wrapped his long arm around my shoulders, reassuringly rubbing it. I lent into his side, resting my head on his shoulder. I missed this.

Finn let out a sigh as he rested his chin on my head. "I'm sorry Aurora, I never meant to hurt you. I was just hurt that you didn't trust me enough to tell me about your dad."

"I was too afraid you would see me differently, that you wouldn't want me around. I didn't want to lose my best friend." I honestly say as I sit up, looking at Finn in the eyes.

Finn gives me a light smirk, "You can't get rid of me that easily. I also believe you will tell me what actually happened when you are ready."

"I missed you Collins," I say as I wrap my small arms around his torso delicately. "I missed you too White." He laughs as he hugs me back.

"Now do I need to beat up Bellamy?" Finn asks me, half jokingly. "I don't think you could even if you tried."

Clarke pops her head through the tent flap, running our small moment. She looked very inpatient and jealous as she stared at the two of us hugging. "Let's go, we need to get to the escape pod before Bellamy."

☆ ☆ ☆

The three on us jogged together in sync. We hadn't found the escape pod yet and the sun has already rose. Bellamy must've found it by now.

My legs were beginning to ache and I felt almost out of breath. I wasn't used to this much exercise, especially in the heat. "Should we split up?" Clarke suggests.

"Yeah. You go that way. I'll check the bottom. Aurora, you go the other way." Finn tells us, pointing in the direction he wants us to go in.

I nod my head at him before jogging away from them, taking a break when they were out of my view. I rested on a thick tree trunk as I tried to regain my breath.

The crunching of dry leaves made me snap my head up quickly. Bellamy stood in front of me with his hand in his large jacket pockets.

"You found it didn't you," I ask. His lips thinned as he nodded his head cautiously. I let out a sigh, running my fingers though my hair. "Aurora, I'm sorry."

I get up, "Action speak louder than words." I start to walk alway from Bellamy, ready to go find the others. Bellamy wraps his large hand around my wrist, stopping me in my tracks. I stare into his deep brown eyes, guilt glistening in them.

He goes to speak but Clarke immediately runs towards us, yelling at Bellamy. "Hey! Where is it?" Bellamy lets go of my wrist, looking Clarke in the eye. "Hey, princess, you taking a walk in the woods?" He asks, avoiding the question.

"They're getting ready to kill three hundred people up there to save oxygen, and I can guarantee you it won't be council members. It'll be working people." Clarke states, her anger rising. She pokes Bellamy in the chest roughly, "Your people."

My heart sunk as realisation hit her at how terrible the situation actually was. She could've stopped this, she felt at fault.

Finn walks up, shoving Bellamy backwards. causing the man to stumble backwards. "Bellamy, where's the radio?" Bellamy shoves Finn back, the two beginning to feel heated. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

A raven haired girl enters my vision, my eyebrows furrow in confusion. She had dried blood coated on her forehead. "Bellamy Blake? They're looking everywhere for you." Bellamy quickly tells her to shut up.

"Looking for him, why?" Clarke asks. The raven haired girls face turns into a disgusted smirk, "He shot Chancellor Jaha."

Clarke turns to look at me, her face looking annoyed. "Did you know about it this?" I look at the ground feeling ashamed. Bellamy slightly stands in front of me, acting as a sort of shield. "Leave her out of this."

"That's why you took the wristbands. Needed everyone to think we're dead." Clarke says in realisation. "All that whatever the hell we want? You just care about saving your own skin." Finn calmly says to Bellamy.

Bellamy grabs my arm as he begins to walk away from the conversation. "Hey! Shooter! Where's my radio?" The girl asks as she stands in front of him.

"Get out of my way." He demands. "Where is it?" She responds, pushing the topic. "I should've killed you when I had the chance." He tells her, causing my heart to sink.

He keeps digging himself a deeper grave and I don't know if he will be able to get back up. "Really? Well, I'm right here." She says as she stands closer to him.

In a quick flash he pushes her onto a tree holding her throat, similar to how he acted in the tent. She pulls out a pocket knife, putting it inches away from Bellamys face.

"Where's my radio?" Clarke pushes between them, "Okay, stop it." Bellamy lets her go and takes a step back, moving away from them. "Jaha deserved to die. You all know that."

"Yeah, he's not my favorite person either, but he isn't dead." The girl tells him, making him stop in his tracks. "What?" My mood slightly lightened at the words spoken from the girl.

"You're a lousy shot." The girl smirks, finding the situation funny.

"Bellamy, don't you see what this means? You're not a murderer. You always did what you had to do to protect your sister. That's who you are. And you can do it again by protecting three hundred of your people. Where's the radio?" Clarke asks as she approaches him.

"It's too late." He softly says looking down at Clarke.

We were all searching from the radio. Turns out Bellamy had thrown it in the river. I felt disgusted as water seeped into my socks and shoes. I focused more on not slipping on the mossy green rocks rather than finding the radio.

I could feel Bellamys stare burning into my skin. I had been avoiding Bellamy, not wanting to speak to him. Part of me was still annoyed and afraid of him but the other part of me already missed him and wanted to forgive him. Again.

Aurora was always a kind hearted soul. She was kind to everyone even the ones that did her wrong. Being kind had disadvantages. She truly believed in seconds chances, even third and fourth ones. She would forgive easily and cause herself more pain afterwards, having no one to blame but herself.

"Hey! I found it!" A boy yells in the distance getting everyones attention as they run over to him. We circled around the radio as Raven examined it.

Raven came down to Earth with the help of Clarkes mother. Ravens main purpose for coming down was Finn, her boyfriend. This was a massive shock to me as I didn't know. I was disappointed that he never told me.

But nobody was as disappointed as Clarke. As much as I disliked her I felt sorry for the blonde, nobody should be played like that.

"Can you fix it?" Clarke asks Raven. The girl lets out a deep sigh, shaking her head. "Maybe, but it'll take half the day just to dry out the components to see what's broken."

Bellamy stands with his arms crossed, "Like I said, it's too late." Clarke marches up to Bellamy, "Do you have any idea what you did? Do you even care?"

"You asked me to help. I helped." He responds. I mumble under my breath, "It's your fault that we had to search for the radio in the first place."

Everyone looks at me, giving an agreeing nod. Clarke continues, "Three hundred people are gonna die today because of you!"

"Hold up. We don't have to talk to the Ark. We just have to let them know we're down here, right?" Raven asks with a grin on her face.

"Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?" Finn asks.

I stand in the darkness, the glistening bonfire being the only resource of light. Delinquents around were preparing for the flare launch. It was our only hope for communicating with the Ark. I spun a hair strand around my finger anxiously. I hope it works.

As I stood next to Clarke I watched as the flares get launched. The sparks lighting up the night sky, they flew at the speed of light. I was in awe at the beautiful sight.

I felt another body slightly brush my skin, wedging between Clarke and I. I look to my right as I watch Bellamy staring into the sky, his brown eyes glistening from the flares.

His head tilted to me giving me a small smile with his full lips."You think they can see it from up there?" Bellamy asks the blonde next to him.

I ignore them as I continue to stare at the flared sky. "I don't know. I hope so. Can you wish on this kind of shooting star?" She responds.

Bellamy gives her an odd look. "Forget it," Clarke sighs. Bellamys eyes shift towards me, "I think I know what I'd wish for." He flickers his eyes back to Clarke, "What about you?"
