My heart broke when I was told that Monty weren't with Finn and Clarke. I hoped that wherever he is, he is alive and safe.

I walked beside Octavia holding a gun as we walked out of the camp. Our home. "How's your arm." Octavia asks. "It only hurts if I drastically move it." I tell her.

"Why do you have a gun then?" Octavia asks. I smile at her, "Because Bellamy can't say no to this." I say as I spin around in a circle, flaunting myself.

Octavia laughs lightly, "You've made my brother soft." I flick my hair behind my shoulder, "Guess I just have that effect on people."

She nods her head, "I'm just glad you're safe. I'd probably cry if something happened to you, I love you too much."

I wrap my arm around her shoulder, feeling happy. "Awe! I love you too!" I plant a kiss on her cheek as she laughs at my sudden change of mood.

"You know, I'm really going to miss this place." I say, looking back as smoke rose from the campfire. "You and me both." Octavia replies.

"You know the first thing I'm going to do when we get to the beach?" Miller says. "No what?" Drew questions.

"I want to go surfing." Miller answers, licking his lips. I look back at him smirking, "You'll probably drown before you learn how to surf."

"Want to bet on that?" Miller asks. Jasper looks at the two of us, "Quiet. Keep your eyes open."

"No more woods. A view of the ocean. No more damn trees. Just pale, blue water." Drew says. I nod my head in agreement, that would be calming.

Octavia suddenly stops, I unwrap my arm around her shoulder. A weapon went whirring past my head, slicing into Drews face. He fell on the ground as everyone moved back in fear.

"Grounders." Jasper yells. Octavia grabs my hand as we immediately rush back to camp, avoiding everyone so that we don't get pushed around.

I helped Octavia close the gate, we stood underneath Clarke, Bellamy and Jasper as they looked out. "Lincoln said scouts would be the first to arrive." Clarke says.

"If it's just scouts, we can fight our way out." Octavia tells her, "That's what Lincoln would do."

"We're done doing what that Grounder would do. We tried it and now Drew is dead." Bellamy says as he jumps down next to us. "You want to be next?"

"That Grounder saved our lives." Finn says defensively. "I agree with Octavia. For all we know, there's one scout out there."

"One scout with insanely good aim." Jasper interjects. "Clarke we can still do this." Octavia says.

"They're looking to you Princess, what's it going to be? Run and get picked off out in the open or stand and fight back?" Bellamy questions Clarke.

Clarke looks outside the camp before looking back and jumping down, taking to Finn briefly. "Looks like you've got your fight." Clarke tells Bellamy.

"Okay, then. This is what we've been preparing for. Kill them before they kill us. Gunners, to your posts. Use the tunnels to get in and out. From now on, the gate stays closed." Bellamy demands.

I prepare to leave but Bellamy quickly grabs my arm. "I'm trusting you Peach. Stay safe for me okay?" I nod, "Of course." He smiles, quickly pecking me on the lips before jogging away.

I catch up to the others, following behind them into the tunnel. "All right. Lets get to these fox holes." Jasper says.

I squat down in the middle of Miller and Octavia. Miller jokingly rolls his eyes at me, "Back again I see." I respond, "I know you missed me."

"All foxholes, listen up." Bellamy says over the walkie-talkie. "Keep your eyes and ears open. Inflict casualties. As many as possible. You can hold them off long enough to make them turn back. That's the plan."

Miller was practically talking my ear off. I could tell he was extremely bored. I probably would've been too if it wasn't for him. He told me his future plans and dreams.

The war drums interrupted Miller as we instantly focus, aiming our guns towards the forest. Bellamy jumped beside me, almost scaring me.

"Where's Octavia?" Bellamy questions. "She left five minutes ago. Didn't say where to. She thinks she's a damn samurai." Miller answers.

"Shut up Miller, you're just jealous that you're not a badass like her." I say grinning. Bellamy smiles softly at the thought of the two girls connection.

"How are you feeling Peach?" Bellamy asks quietly. I look at him, "A bit scared honestly. But I know we can do this." Bellamy pats my shoulder reassuringly, nodding his head in agreement.

"You see anything?" Bellamy asks around. "No. What they hell are they waiting for?" Monroe replies. "The linger they wait the better. This is about buying time for Raven."

Sterlings voice pops up from the walkie-talkie, "I see them! They're moving! I count one, two, three. No, wait, there's four. I don't know man! There's too damn many of them!"

A gunshot is heard in the distance. My knuckles tighten around my gun as it reminds me of Murphy. "Who was that?" Bellamy asks.

"Sterling I think. South foxhole." Miller responds. "South foxhole. Respond now." Bellamy says into the walkie-talkie.

More gunshots fire. "Yeah, yeah. We're okay." Sterling responds."They didn't attack. It's like shooting at ghosts."

"There! I see them!" Monroe says. Immediately shooting at them as Miller copying her actions. I raise my gun up higher getting a good focus and aim, ready to shoot.

Bellamy places a hand on top of mine, "Stop. Stop. Hold your fire. Reload now." He yells.

"Those were our last clips." Miller tells him. "We should fall back." Monroe suggests.

"No. If this position falls, they walk right to the front door." Bellamy says, aiming his gun.

We shot at anything that moved, nobody has been lucky enough to hit a Grounder yet. They were quick paced, silent but deadly.

"They're everywhere. Harper, get down. We need backup!" Jasper yells over the radio. "Raven, our mines actually work. Yes!"

"Jasper. We need you in the drop-ship. Right now." Clarke says in the walkie-talkie. "Negative. We can't give up the west woods." Bellamy responds.

"The west woods are mined. The Grounders just figured that out. Jasper, get in there." Clarke says.

"All gunners, listen up. The Grounders are not attacking. We are wasting bullets. Don't shoot when they're running laterally." Jasper says.

"Jaspers right. Don't fire until you're sure it's a attack. Repeat. Do not fire until you are sure." Bellamy tells everyone.

Grounders yell as gunshots are fired. "Here they come!" Miller yells. I aim at the Grounders rushing towards us, taking shots. A few missed but I still managed to shoot quite a couple of Grounders.

A grounder jumps into Bellamy, knocking him to the ground. I aim my gun at the grounder, shooting them in the shoulder. The bullet hardly had any effect as the Grounder pulled him to the ground, choking him.

Octavia runs up behind him, stabbing him through the head. "Admit it. You want one." Octavia says before getting shot in the leg.

"Aurora, Miller. Fall back now." Bellamy says. I hesitate to move, not wanting to leave the two behind. "Aurora, I've got her. Go now." I nod my head as I follow Miller.

I stay at a post, shooting Grounders left and right. My aim was improving as time passed. I'd have to occasionally duck as arrows flew past my head.

A loud explosion in the sky distracted me, I look up as something falls from the sky. The Ark? It was stunning to watch it fall from the sky, lighting the darkness up.

I quickly snap my head back down as the Grounders rush towards the gate again. I look at Miller in confusion as whooping sounds come from out of no where.

Reapers. The Grounders and Reapers began to kill each other, making the job easier as I continued shooting.

The Grounders came towards the wall, shooting gunner around me left and right. I stand on my post, hidden as the Grounders break down the gate.

"All right. Jasper did it. Everybody get inside now!" Clarke yells. I continue shooting at the Grounders inside camp. My bullets ran out.

My eyes move to Bellamy getting attacked by a Grounder. I jump from my post running toward him, grabbing a sword from the ground.

As I swung the sword at the Grounder, cutting deep in his shoulder. He yells in pain as he turns around.

And it's as if everything was in slow motion.

Bellamy and Finn yell my name. The grounder draws his shining sword back as he shoves it through my stomach, impaling me. He tugs it out of me, grinning as I slowly fall to the floor.

I hold my stomach gasping for air. Blood escaping from my mouth. Bellamy drops to his knees beside me, pulling me into his arms.

He holds my face with his hand, his body trembling. "Don't you die on me." Bellamy croaks, hot tears rolling down his cheeks like a waterfall.

I cough out blood, looking into Bellamys dark eyes. "I'm sorry Bellamy. At least now you get to say I told you so." I jokingly say, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, I guess I do." Bellamy says as he shakes his head chuckling lowly. "I just wish it didn't have to be like this." I smile at him weakly, "Neither do I. But at least I get to die a hero."

"You've come a long way Peach, I'm proud of you. We all are." Bellamy tells me.

"I love you." He says, brushing a piece of my hair behind my ear. "I love you too Sprinkles. Don't forget that. Don't forget me." I whisper to Bellamy, wiping his tears away with my thumb. Ignoring the tears rolling down my cheeks.

Bellamy plants his warm lips onto my cold ones. My stomach erupting just like the first time. The kiss was filled with love. I never wanted it to end, loving the feeling of his lips on mine.

My slender hand falls from his rosy cheek. My body falling limp in his caring arms. The darkness consuming me as I close my brown eyes for the last time. "I won't. I promise." Bellamy croaks out, placing his forehead on mine.

Finn watched sorrowfully as he lost his first love. He never got to say goodbye. Finn walks over, dragging Bellamys body away from the drop-ship. Leaving my lifeless body alone amongst the crowd.

Bellamy cried at the top of his lungs in agony, wishing it was him instead. He had lost the love of his life. His happiness. His world. She loved him even when he didn't love himself. She stayed with him no matter what. Their love was a rocky once, but there wasn't anything like it and he wouldn't change it for the world.

And that's the thing about pain. It's demands to be felt.
