"Kels, why do you have to leave tomorrow?" Y/N said whining.

"Y/N/N you know I have no choice, I'll be back in 4 days surely you can handle that" Kelsey reassured Y/N.

"Fine but if Mr.Floyd gives us an assignment tomorrow I'm gonna kill you" Y/N threaten her best friend as they both left the school campus laughing

The Next Day

"Class we have a new student." Mr.Floyd walked into the classroom with a shadowed figure standing close behind him.

"His name is Aidan he just moved here from LA" The teacher told the class "Aidan if you can sit at that seat there, that would be great" Mr.Floyd patted Aidans back and pointed to the seat currently occupied by Y/N's feet

The boy made his way down the row of seats being eyed by possibly every girl in the class. Y/N could definitely agree he was cute but she wouldn't dare say that to him...

"Excuse me" Aidan whispered to Y/N who was too busy still staring at him

"Oh shoot sorry" Y/N retracted her feet back fixing her posture "I'm Y/N by the way, Y/N L/N" she held out her hand

"Oh Aidan Gallagher" the boy shook her hand

Y/N thought about the name 'Aidan Gallagher, has a familiar ring to it'

"Okay class, Happy Friday. I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is we have a science project-"

The class groaned

"But the good news is you have three days to do it which means it will be due Tuesday and you can pick your partners"

The class cheered and some of the kids already made their way to one another

"Everyone will get different topics to work on so please be creative and work with your selected partners"

Y/N sighed I'm gonna kill Kelsey, I'm gonna rip her to pieces then throw her in~ Her train of thought was broken when Aidan turned to her "Uhm, since it looks like you don't have a partner, do you wanna be partners?" He shrugged

Y/N thought about it then smiled "Sure"

After School

"Hey Y/N right?" Aidan ran up to the girl

"Oh yeah what's up" Y/N turned to him

"I was thinking about what topic we should do for the science project and I was thinking climate change" Aidan shrugged

"Oh I was thinking photosynthesis but that'll work" Y/N nodded

"So uhm could I get your number?" Aidan asked

"You want my number?" Y/N smirked. Aidan widened his eyes and shook his head

"Not in that sense" Aidan looked at her seriously but a hint of pink painted his ears

Y/N looked at him with an eyebrow raised. He said it so seriously but why was he blushing? Either this kid is a good actor or he's having a personality crisis

"Fine" Y/N rolled her eyes and wrote her number on an empty gum wrapper "Don't lose it buddy"

"Thanks I'll text you when we should work on it." He smiled and ran away

2 hours later

Y/N was laying on her bed watching Netflix when she got a notification on her phone

Aidan waited for a response while is dad walked into his room

"Aidan did anyone recognize you at school?" His dad leaned against the wall

"Uh, I got a couple stares but no one came up to me" Aidan shrugged

"Okay just making sure that we don't have to move you again" his dad laughed

"I know dad, that other school was filled with fans and people attacking me" Aidan laughed along with his father

"Alright has you partner communicated with you?" His dad gestured to Aidans phone

"Uhm she said she'd go ask her parents" Aidan looked back at his phone

"She?" His dad raised his eyebrows

"Dad! Not in that way okay. I sit next to her in science...and she is also in my music and math class, but she didn't have a partner so I offered" Aidan laughed nervously

"Do you think she's cute?"his dad ignores his son's comment. Aidan stared at his dad and blushed. This made his dad open his mouth and laugh "I see, okay so you think she is cute" his dad continued

"Dad, I-I- fine yes she's cute but I just met her okay" Aidan rubbed his face with his hands

His phone buzzed and Aidan gave his dad a 'get out of my room' look. His dad nodded and closed the door
