Is it a even a surprise at this point? Nearly a week after their internet-breaking duet at the 2021 Melon Music Awards, ENHYPEN's Ni-Ki & WayB's Byeol (ByeolKi)'s surprise magazine shoot has been released to the public on Popteen's official website—

and we're melting at their undeniable chemistry.

both being talented dancers, decided to melt our hearts with this adorable candid shot of a couple waltz.

the rest of the shoot seemed to be a nature-revolved theme, with different color-schemed outfits.

like.. hello?

while everyone is taking time to process the release, one question is quick to appear in all of our minds.

are ByeolKi still only two dancers who were randomly paired for a duet, or is there something else there?

the pair sat beside eachother, presumably in front of a set placed outdoors.

they wore similarly white outfits, it being before the first shots of the day. 

the soulmates bowed their heads at the same time, soon realizing they weren't shooting for a korean magazine despite still being in seoul.

"hello, i'm Ni-Ki of ENHYPEN," the boy said, lightly tipping the handheld mic towards the girl.
"hello, i'm Haku Byeol, part of dance team WayB,"

"we're here shooting for Popteen, thank you for this wonderful opportunity!"

the video then cut to small clips of the two standing together, the boy spreading out the blanket in front of her with a small smile on his face as she watched him with a similar expression, holding the basket in front of her. he gently asked for the basket, taking it and placing it on the pastel pink fabric before sitting down, asking for her hand to help her sit down as well.

the camera filming them had flown past his mind, all actions genuine.

they began taking the items out of the basket, byeol's eyes lighting in delight when she saw the bubbles.

who made the choreography you two performed together?
ni-ki lightly smiled as he pointed at the girl sat beside him, byeol's face lightly flushing. "she did,"
byeol nodded in confirmation, "yes! i had it semi-complete for upwards of a year.. and we worked on completing it together when we were told of our stage,"

how well did it fit your personal dance preferences?
byeol hummed softly, "i've performed dances like it before by myself.. doing it with riki was definitely new but it wasn't too uncomfortable,"
"i haven't.. done anything like it before," ni-ki began, chuckling. "it was nice to do with someone i'm so comfortable with, though,"

the next clip was the pair being taken towards a field, ni-ki's soft words to the girl hard to pick up with the mic. her arms were locked with his own, the boy skillfully finding a cleaner path so her white dress could stay clean.

they looked towards the staff as they gave them instructions to simply walk around comfortably, the wind slightly messing up byeol's hair as she giggled.

they then appeared inside, byeol stood in the doorway of a wooden-aesthetic room. "riki is getting changed now~" she softly spoke, giggling afterwards.

the boy soon appeared, now in black leather pants instead of the khakis he'd been in until now. he unconsciously wrapped his arm around the girl's waist after he'd reached her, the two listening to the staff's instructions.

they let out semi awkward laughs as they got in a waltz position, ni-ki taking the lead in their soft side-to-side steps. music once again sounded through the room, the boy shyly singing the heartfelt lyrics at the girl as she shyly giggled. their natural smiles had been caught in the shots as their laughter proved itself to be nonstop.

are you two comfortable with eachother?
"yes~ i think we've spent enough time together to be past the point of any awkwardness," the girl said, ni-ki nodding as he stood beside her. 

they'd been informed of there being no more prepared questions to be asked, the two nodding before continuing to follow given instructions, completing the shoot by their scheduled times.

"thank you for your hard work!" they both called out when their final nighttime photo had been taken, continuously bowing towards the staff around them.

a special clip of the pair leaving the building with interwined hands was shown at the end, making the same question pop into everyone's head as the video faded out.
