The after party came around quickly. I made a reappearance, quickly finding Tom, grabbing his hand. He turned around, pulling it away from me. I raise an eyebrow as he shook his head, walking off. I looked up, my eyes meeting TimothΓ©es. I saw him walking towards me, so I quickly walked after Tom.
"What was that about?" I questioned him once I caught up with him.
"Him. That's what that was about." Tom sighed, placing a hand in his head. "Listen Rosa, I love being with you, but I think that's all it is. I love your company. But I don't love you."
My heart shattered. I couldn't believe my ears. He was still talking but it was like I couldn't hear him. My chest was heavy as I stumbled to find the exit. I left the party, pulling a taxi and going back to my apartment.
I opened the door, my hands shaky. I sat down on my sofa, holding a pillow close to my chest. I wasn't going to cry. I knew I wasn't. I don't cry anymore. I just sit. I think. My head was a mess, I couldn't control it.
I almost missed the banging on the door.
I slid off the sofa, dragging myself to the door. I opened it, my heart stopping.
"Listen Rosa, please let me explain-"
I slammed the door.
TimothΓ©e banged on the door again.
I opened it again, pushing him back. "I don't want to see you."
I shut it again, turning back to my apartment. There wasn't another knock. I felt my eyes well up. I turned on my speaker, Reckless Love by Cory Asbury began to play. A tear escaped my eye as I made myself a sandwich.
I loved TimothΓ©e, I knew I did. But I hated him for doing what he did. I sighed, grabbing some more bread. I made another sandwich. I stopped near the door, closing my eyes and letting out a breath.
I opened it.
My eyes landed on an asleep Timmy, his body curled up on the floor. I smiled a little, crouching down. I managed to scoop him up without waking him up. I carried him inside, placing him on the sofa. I put a blanket across him before sitting down and beginning my sandwich.
I watched him. My heart beating fast. My eyes traveled from his chocolate hair to his plump lips. His eyes fluttered and I quickly looked away. He rubbed them, sitting up a little.
"I made you a sandwich." I mumbled, pointing at the food.
"Oh, thank you."
I nodded, taking my empty plate out into the kitchen. I splashed my face with water. I couldn't give into him. But I knew I would. I always do. I stood in the door way, looking. He was beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. I sighed.
I walked over to him, sitting down next to him. He put down his now empty plate turning to me.
"I really want to apologise-"
"What's about to happen doesn't change anything. I still haven't forgiven you."
"Wh-"
I placed my lips on his, my fingers automatically going into his hair. His find my hips, pulling me onto his lap as I straddle him. I pull away, resting my forehead on his.
"Doesn't change anything?" He question.
"Nope." I shake my head. "Nothing."
He leans in, his lips brushing over mine, an intense tingle forming over the muscle. He licks my lips a little before kissing me once.
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm."
He smiles and I smile back, my head screaming at me to stop but I can't. I can never resist Timmy. Even whilst he's carrying me to the bedroom, towering over me and removing the space between us.
