"I'll have a word with him. I will!" Armie threatened.
"There's no point. I said I wanted to put him behind me and that's what I've done." Rosa informed him.
"I don't care. It's wrong of him to walk out and leave his girlfriend whilst she undergoes fucking chemotherapy for the second time and the finds some random girl name Belle and decides to fuck her instead." Armie clenched his fist as Elizabeth rubbed his shoulders.
"You really need to calm down. It'll all be over in a few days. Rosa will never have to see him again after the wedding." Elizabeth points out, Rosa agreeing.
"See? Everything will be fine." She hugs Armie and he reluctantly hugs her back. "There's no need to get so worked up about it anyway. I should be angry, not you."
"You know how much I love you, I'm surprised your surprised I'm acting like this." He smiled at her and Rosa smiled back, planting a kiss on his cheek.
"It's still unnecessary." She stepped back and turned to go into the kitchen, bumping into Tom. He kissed and she kissed back, before reaching for the cereal. "Did you sleep well?"
"I did, yes." Tom tapped his fingernails on the kitchen counter. "I've uh, seen Timmy's post."
Rosa stopped pouring her milk for a second, but continued, ignoring his comment.
"I understand if you're up-"
"I'm not upset. Tom, I'm really not upset. I've moved on. There's no need for me to be upset. It wouldn't matter anyway. He's clearly chosen someone else." Rosa shrugged. She put her milk down and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Just remember that I would never leave you for him. Okay? What he did to me is unforgivable."
"I know baby. I trust you." Tom smiled, kissing his girlfriend once again. He embraced her, resting his head on her shoulder.
But Rosa couldn't help but still feel that guilt. For some reason she felt like her promise was going to be broken, one way or another.
