Riki couldn't fathom why everyone adored Kim Sunoo.

He always put on an act, pretending to be sweet and cute.

But Riki saw right through him.

He knew that Sunoo was just faking it all.

It frustrated Riki that no one believed him.

Riki was aware that Sunoo wasnt all innocent.

Why couldn't anyone else see it?

"Heeseung hyung! Are you blind?" Riki whined, slamming his locker shut.

Heeseung met Riki's glare with a sigh. "Riki-ah, Sunoo is the sweetest person," he muttered, giving the younger one a tired look.

"What's Riki going on about now?" Jake asked as he approached, with Sunghoon, Jay, and Jungwon following behind.

"Probably ranting about how Sunoo isn't as nice as everyone thinks," Jungwon chimed in as he joined the group.

"I still don't get why you doubt him being nice and sweet, Riki-ah," Jake said, casually draping his arm around Heeseung's shoulder.

"Because he isn't. There's something off about him," Riki mumbled, crossing his arms, his voice trailing off.

"You're just getting stuff in your head, Riki," Jay remarked, leaning against the lockers.

Riki rolled his eyes.

Getting stuff in his head?

Yeah, right. The only thing filling his head was the truth.

The others were oblivious to Sunoo's true attitude.

Riki scoffed before turning and walking away.

เณ€

"They're all so stupid," Riki muttered under his breath as he slipped his hands into his pockets before heading to the bathroom.

To do what?

Riki had no clue, but he just needed to get away from his idiotic friends.

And thankfully, Kim Sunoo wasn't in sight.

"Riki!" Sunoo exclaimed, suddenly appearing and wrapping his arms around Riki's.

Freaking hell.

Riki sighed internally, loathing Sunoo with every fiber of his being.

But nobody except his friends knew that.

If anyone else in the school found out, Riki might as well be dead meat.

Sunoo was undeniably popular, with his charming traits and cute behavior.

Fake behavior, but whatever.

"Hi... Sunoo-sunbae..." Riki mumbled, trying to avoid Sunoo's gaze and instead focusing on anything but his face.

But instead of engaging in formal conversation, Sunoo grabbed Riki's hand and pulled him into an empty classroom.

"Let go of me!" Riki exclaimed, but Sunoo covered his mouth, silencing him.

"You're so pretty," Sunoo whispered softly, sending disgust coursing through Riki's body.

"You know, don't you?" Sunoo muttered coldly as he gripped Riki's neck, causing him to struggle for breath.

Riki waved his arms, attempting to push Sunoo away, and finally, Sunoo released him.

"I would never hurt you, Nishi..." Sunoo whispered into Riki's ear, his voice deep and gravelly, a stark contrast to the high-pitched voice he used with everyone else.

They all adored it โ€“ except Riki. To him, it was a painful sound he loathed.

But this voice, it was terrifying...

Was he a psycho?

What the actual hell did Riki just experience?

Sunoo choked him and then proceeded to whisper sweet words into his ears.

Riki stared at the older, realizing he was dealing with a freaking psycho.

"You... You're crazy..." Riki mumbled as he pushed Sunoo away, causing the older boy to stumble and fall onto the table.

Why did it make such a loud noise?

"Don't... Don't come near me!" Riki yelled at Sunoo, his voice trembling with fear and anger.

Stupid of him not to realize the crowd of people who had gathered.

It had only been a minute of commotion between Sunoo and Riki.

How the heck did so many students come?

Probably for Sunoo...

Riki stormed out of the room, ignoring his friends who seemed more concerned about Sunoo's well-being than his own.

He rolled his eyes at the sight before making his way to the student council bathroom, knowing it would be empty.

Opening the door, he looked into the mirror.

Physically, he looked fine. That was a relief.

But did he feel fine?

No, not really.

He stared at his neck, where a red handprint from Sunoo's grasp was now visible.

Riki scoffed at the mark. Wasn't it just lovely to have Sunoo's handprint on his neck after nearly being choked to death?

Clearly, Riki had a fondness for sarcasm.

His hair was slightly disheveled and messy, adding to his frustration.

Sighing, he washed his face and attempted to scrub off the handprint, but it was futile.

Defeated, Riki exited the bathroom, glancing around to ensure no one was nearby.

Thankfully, there was no one around.

Good.

Riki didn't need a mob of students harassing him at 10 am because he pushed Kim Sunoo.

Oh, glorious, joyful Kim Sunoo.

Riki rolled his eyes whenever he passed a fangirl, well, fangirling.

It was dumb and stupid.

เณ€

Riki left his classroom, three hours having passed since that little incident, as per the rumors and whispers circulating among the students.

According to them, Riki had pushed and hurt Kim Sunoo's supposedly fragile body.

Riki rolled his eyes at the absurdity of it all.

Please, Sunoo. Fragile?

Bullshit.

He grabbed his school backpack and headed out of the classroom, where Taki was waiting for him.

"Hi Taki-san," Riki greeted as he walked alongside the older student.

Taki was undoubtedly Riki's best friend... well, if you could call them that. They talked occasionally, so maybe just friends.

Then, Sunoo walked up to them.

Wonderfuckingful.

That wasn't an actual word, but Riki was not in the mood to think about correct vocabulary.

"Hi Taki! Hi Riki!" Sunoo's annoyingly high-pitched voice rang out.

Riki fought the urge to roll his eyes. "Hi sunbaenim!" Taki greeted with a smile.

Oh, wonderful. Taki was also being manipulated by Sunoo's stupid act.

"Hi... Sunoo-sunbae," Riki gritted out, trying to sound polite.

Not that he wanted to.

"Sorry Taki, may I hang out with Riki?" Sunoo asked with a smile.

God, Riki hated it when Sunoo smiled.

Who smiles like that?

It seemed fake.

It probably was.

Taki just smiled back before nodding and walking away.

The moment Sunoo laid eyes on him, Riki felt his stomach churn.

Sunoo grabbed his hand and pulled him somewhere.

"Why are you with someone else?" Sunoo inquired as he grabbed Riki's wrist.

"Excuse me? You don't fucking own me, Kim," Riki spat out coldly as he hit Sunoo's hand away.

Sunoo let out a laugh, a chuckle.

A sick chuckle.

What was funny?

Nothing really. Sunoo was just a freaking psycho.

"It doesn't matter, you're mine. Your body, your thoughts, your entire existence is mine. I am the one for you," Sunoo declared.

Riki stared at him.

What the actual fuck?

"Y-You're a crazy psycho," Riki mumbled as he took a step back.

"I'll do anything to make sure you're just mine," Sunoo said, smiling at the younger.

Riki felt like throwing up.

What the heck was happening?

"No one will come in my way, don't worry, my love," Sunoo whispered as he caressed Riki's cheek.

Then, he walked away.

Riki shook his head.

Sunoo's a psychopath. He's just scaring him.

Riki doesn't like him as a person, so Sunoo's mad.

That's the reason... well,

The reason Riki created in his mind.

เณ€

Taki... Taki was missing.

He hadn't shown up to school for three days.

He hadn't texted Riki.

That got Riki worrying.

Then, a text popped up on his screen.

It was from Taki.

"Hey Riki-san! I need your help. Can you meet me here? -"

And there was an address. It was Taki's dorm room.

Riki stared at the text.

It seemed off, not like it was written by Taki, but Riki shook away that feeling.

He grabbed his bike and started pedaling to Taki's dorm.

เณ€

Riki knocked on Taki's door, but as it creaked open, he was hit by a strange smell.

Metal?

He took another sniff, but before he could rationalize, he found himself stepping inside.

He shouldn't have entered. No, he really shouldn't have.

But Taki was his friend. He couldn't just ignore him.

Riki stepped into the dark room, his senses heightened by the eerie atmosphere.

The first thing he noticed?

Nothing.

It was pitch black, and Riki moved cautiously, the floorboards creaking beneath his steps.

The metallic smell grew stronger, and Riki felt something squish beneath his shoes.

Was it water? Vomit?

Neither.

He looked down, feeling nauseous.

It was a puddle of fresh, dark redโ€”

Blood.

Riki's breath hitched as he stared at the blood. Fucking blood.

He turned to run, but then he heard a yell.

Taki's voice.

Riki sprinted into Taki's bedroom.

There he was, sitting with a knife in the middle of his stomach.

"Taki!" Riki exclaimed as he rushed over and held the older boy's stomach.

"Riki-san?" Taki mumbled, gripping Riki's hand weakly.

"D-Don't leave me," Riki whispered, tears threatening to spill.

Footsteps echoed in the background.

Taki pushed Riki aside with the little strength he had.

A gunshot rang out.

Riki's head hit the cabinet near Taki, and he could only see and hear snippets of what was happening around him.

Another gunshot.

"I told you, I'll do anything to make you mine," Sunoo whispered.

Riki couldn't believe it.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Sunoo couldn't have murdered Taki.

He hated Sunoo.

But Sunoo wouldn't. He couldn't.

"S-Sunoo?" Riki whispered, feeling blood dripping down the side of his head. He must have hit the cabinet too hard.

"I'll take care of you now," Sunoo said softly as he held Riki's head.

Everything soon went dark.

Riki woke up in a soft bed, his surroundings bathed in a dark red hue, it looked like Sunoo's hair.

"Oh, you're awake, love," Sunoo spoke as he walked over to Riki.

Still dazed, Riki struggled to comprehend who was in front of him.

Sunoo handed him water and a pill.

Riki drank the water and swallowed the pill, feeling the effects soon after.

Sunoo smiled as Riki drifted back to sleep.

Riki lay down, and Sunoo allowed his head to rest on his lap.

"You're so perfect," Sunoo whispered as he kissed Riki's forehead.

Sunoo gave Riki a sleeping pill.

But it wasn't to help him sleep; it was to erase his memories of anyone and everyone.

The side effects of sleeping pills often included amnesia.

Sunoo's plan?

Isolate Riki and take care of him as if he were made of glass.

Sunoo treated him like a fragile being, and that's exactly what Riki became.

He didn't go to school, he didn't graduate...

But what about Riki's friends?

They searched for Riki everywhere โ€“ his parents, the school, the police.

No one suspected Sunoo.

Riki hated him for no reason after all.

Why would Sunoo even bother to talk to Riki?

How naive they all were.

Sunoo's second part of his plan? Fake Riki's death. It was simple, to say the least.

Riki committed suicide, and all Sunoo had to do was change Riki's name.

Nishimura Riki was now Kim Cheolsoo.

เณ€

Sunoo stopped isolating the younger.

"Sunoo!" Riki giggled as Sunoo tickled him before planting a soft kiss on his lips.

"You're so cute, my baby," Sunoo chuckled, causing Riki to flush red.

"Can we go out?" Riki asked as he sat on Sunoo's lap, the older playing with his hair.

"Sure," Sunoo replied, kissing Riki's forehead.

Riki immediately got up and put on black cargo pants and a creamy white sweater.

Sunoo was rich enough, so Riki didn't work. He just stayed at home and danced occasionally. He loved being with Sunoo.

Sunoo was everything and the only thing to him.

Riki stepped outside, enjoying the cool breeze.

"Let's take a walk, Sun!" Riki said with a boxy smile, and Sunoo nodded, holding onto Riki's hand.

เณ€

"I miss him so much," Heeseung whispered as they all sat down on the bench.

It was Riki's favorite spot, where he did everything โ€“ study, talk, or simply be.

"How long has it been..." Jungwon whispered as they all exchanged glances.

"It's been 4 years... since Riki passed," Jake sniffled, tears prickling and slowly falling down his cheeks.

Then, they heard a cute giggle. They all looked to the right side of the sidewalk in the park.

"Riki?" Sunghoon whispered to himself, and they all turned to look.

It was Riki.

He was giggling and skipping, next to...

Sunoo?

Sunoo noticed them and gave them a smile.

But it wasn't the smile he gave in high school or the smile he gave when they found out Riki had supposedly committed suicide.

Which was a lie.

Riki wasn't dead.

He was alive.

Sunoo smiled at them before whispering something to Riki, who nodded and walked to a nearby convenience store.

"Hi," Sunoo spoke, his smile twisted and sickening.

"That's Riki..." Jay muttered, looking at Sunoo, who smiled back, equally disturbingly.

Then, Sunoo took out a gun.

There were no remains.

"When I told Riki that he was mine... and only mine," Sunoo started as he crouched down to their level.

Their bloody bodies lay before him. Jungwon held his stomach, trying to contain the blood, while the rest of them clutched their heads, hands, and shoulders in agony.

"I fucking meant it. He's only mine," Sunoo said sickeningly as he walked away.

It didn't matter if anyone saw them.

At least he had Riki all to himself.

Riki was standing in the distance, looking scared, but none of the guys vision was clear enough to make out clearly what he was expressing.

Maybe this was their time...

It ended all too soon...

เณ€

"Why did you hurt them, Sun?" Riki whispered as they walked back to their house.

"They're not good people, Riki," Sunoo said as he opened the door to the mansion.

"They want to take you from me," Sunoo finished, and Riki nodded slowly before entering the house.

Sunoo grabbed him and held his waist.

Hours of making love followed; Sunoo had wanted this.

And he had finally gotten it.

After years of trying to make Riki just his...

Riki finally belonged to Kim Sunoo.

Request-

i had an idea which i called Fake. where sunoos whole personality at uni is fake and riki only one who sees it. and yes ofc nobody will believe him but riki knows the truth behind sunoos sweet smiles

here is the summary i wrote (Riki doesn't understand why everyone likes Kim Sunoo so much. Yes, he has angelic looks, a sweet personality, and sweet speeches.

But Riki knows it's all a lie. An elaborate image that hides the ugly truth. Kim Sunoo is far from the angel many people think he is, and Riki has had to see that for himself). it kinda had yandere sun? he is obsessed with riki to the point of kidnapping him after he knows the true identity of sunoo unhealthy relationship stalking and all that, basically a dark ff.

well i thought of adding a smut to it maybe but it doesnt have to it could be implied and without details. but its not a happy ending? like riki wont escape from him besides in my brain sun would fake riki's death so nobody is waiting for riki anymore :( and sun will manipulate riki into being obedient and 'love' him in his own twisted way?

yes yes this work is dark -_-

A/N: Not all my oneshots have happy ending. And this is one of them. I really liked how I wrote this tbh, ๐Ÿ˜ญ it was short and good(?).

Hope you enjoyed this :3
