if they stayed here they're screwed and if they run, they have a bigger chance of living if they run fast enough that is... 

the sound of a car driving caught their attention, peeking over the car and watched in shock as they saw ann and tatta. y/n slipped a smirk and waved in a lazy manner to the two, ann waving back and telling all of the to get in. arisu and usagi both running in the car first. chishiya and y/n being the last ones. 

chishiya wasn't running at all and was rather jogging, making y/n annoyed. groaning y/n was about to push him and drag him but saw something being thrown and realized what it is. with widen eyes she told them to go and drive, snatching chishiya by his collar and jumping behind a car as the bomb exploded. 

a groan escaped y/n's lips as she made contact with the road face forward. chishiya kinda behind her and on top of her slightly. poking her head out y/n saw no sign of the king of spades and cursed once more. glaring at chishiya. he only sighed and got off her. 

"do you really refuse to run?" y/n mumbled while leaning her body on the car, letting out more annoyed noises. chishiya looked over at her with a smirk. he didn't answer and just stared into her making y/n scoff and look over once more, not seeing the king of spades or hearing gun shots. 

sighing y/n slowly got up, chishiya doing the same thing. 

"come on, let's go find a place to stay for now..." chishiya let out a hum and walked behind y/n, his hands-- not surprisingly-- in his pockets. silence hovered above the two as they walked to a random place. y/n saw a car shop and grinned widely. 

walking towards it with with a giggle, chishiya looked at her with eyebrows that furrowed, it wasn't so noticeable though. realizing where she's going he followed behind her without a word being shared. she kicked the door down easily, earning a surprised look from chishiya. getting in with a huff, y/n saw a beautiful car. letting out a happy sound while running towards it, her hands grazing over the shining car. a smile on her face with her eyes sparkling. 

"you're into cars?" chishiya asked while looking around, he earned a hum from y/n. he watched her with that look. 

"isn't it beautiful?" you breathed out, your eyes looking at the mirror to look over at chishiya who nodded his head with that smile on his face. she grinned and grazed her fingers over the car once more, "1959 chevrolet impala with continental kit... a low rider!" she breathed in awe once more while looking at the shiny car. the color was beautiful and it awed her. it was just so mesmerizing to look at. she could stare at it forever and not grow bored. 

"is there any gas in it?" chishiya questioned while looking at other cars. y/n looked and widened her eyes in surprise to see it be full. "yeah!" he looked over at her and nodded his head, "good, can you drive?" giving him a nod he then walked over and looked around, it was a good thing the car was literally in front of the shop. he hopped in beside the driver seat and looked at y/n, waiting for her to do the same. 

"we're taking it let's go."

you and chishiya found a good place to stay at although the place didn't have edible food anymore, the house did have stacked water. the place only having one bed... probably because the owner either was living alone or a couple lived together. the two other room was an office and a art room. 

"the couch doesn't look too comfortable..." chishiya mumbled as he looked at the couch with an unreadable expression, "i wasn't planning on sleeping on it." you said while walking back to the kitchen and found no food to be edible as they were mostly expired. 

chishiya looked over at you surprised, "we can sleep together on the bed, it's big enough for two people and we can just sleep on different sides." he nodded his head and hummed while walking in the bedroom again. 

"there's no food that we can eat here so i'm gonna go to the convenience store!" you announced while putting your shoes back on, letting out a sigh while you crouched down, your wound slightly aching but you ignored it and looked over at chishiya to see him walking towards you. 

he was also putting his shoes on and waited for you as he put them on rather quickly, while you had to tie your shoes and double knot them just in case things happen. you frowned but then sighed and nodded your head while stepping out of the place. 

it took only 5 minutes to get to the place as it wasn't very far. once you got there you immediately looked for food as chishiya did the same. you found some ramen and grinned, placing many of them in the plastic bag. you looked over at some sweets and smiled that some weren't expired. 

after getting food you also went to go and get some extra clothes or bathroom products. after getting everything you and chishiya wanted, you headed back and quickly got there. using a lighter to light up the stove so you and chishiya could eat the ramen. 

it was silent as you and chishiya ate. you being busy with thinking about the games and thinking about the king of spades. taking the man down wouldn't be so easy, especially alone but it seems he's very good at fighting too. you closed your eyes and let out a sigh while taking a sip of your water, chishiya watching you, catching his attention when you let out a rather loud sigh. 

"we should attend a game tomorrow, well you don't have to of course but i'm gonna attend the jack of hearts tomorrow." you announced, breaking the silence, he nodded his head, "i'll go with you, after so i'll attend a diamonds game." he said while leaning back against the couch and hummed. "you're interesting chishiya." you mumbled while looking up at the ceiling, what you said had caught his attention. 

"is that so?" nodding your head you turned and locked eyes with him. "you were able to get those bullets out of me and knew exactly how to heal me, were you a doctor or something before all of this?" he smirked and sighed, "i was a medical student." you smiled at that and told him what you were, "i was a doctor and a detective." he widened his eyes slightly at what you said and smirked. 

you simply read his thoughts and asked, "how old are you chishiya?" the question threw him slightly off guard but he sighed and answered, "24." you chuckled and replied, "i'm 21, i graduated early before you question anything." he nodded his head and let out a slight chuckle making you slightly smile. 

the sky turned dark quickly and you started to get sleepy, tried of all of the running and walking. so with a yawn you stood up, "i'm gonna go to bed..." he wasn't gonna admit it but he found you rather adorable at the moment, realizing his thoughts he scoffed and nodded his head at you before also going to bed himself as well.
