"it's definitely weird!"

It was chaos in the choir room but the new directions loved it. Everyone seemed to be playing a different instruments, making clashing sounds and very loud noises but there was a smile on everyone's face.

Katy was sat on the piano, playing and singing loudly as she played multiple ABBA songs in a row to create a kind of medley. Marley had slumped down next to her, still a little down about her break-up with Jake but with a small nudge of encouragement from her best friend, she began singing along with her, a smile creeping slowly onto her face.

Charging in later than everyone else, Blaine was frantically trying to catch everyone's attention, shouting at the top of his voice to overpower the loud banging of Sam at the drums, Kitty on the tambourine and all the other noises that were being played. Growing more frustrated by the second, Blaine stomped his foot against the floor and demanded at the top of his voice, "Guys!"

Finally, as the noise died down, Blaine let himself break into a small smile as he spoke to the group as if he were in charge, "I just ran into Mr Schue and he's gonna be stuck in his classroom for the rest of the afternoon for some school inspection thing..."

"Yes!" Katy cheered out loudly, whipping Sam's harmonica out of her pocket and playing some celebratory notes before looking over to Sam's raised eyebrows and slumping back into her seat with a huff, "I mean, oh what a tragedy." She finished in a monotone, sticking her tongue out at Sam.

Clearly annoyed about being interrupted, Blaine let out a sharp breathe of air before continuing, "but he did say he wanted us to start working on ideas for nationals..."

"Beyoncรฉ!" Unique yelled, exchanging an excited look with Tina.

Turning to face each other with wide eyes, Katy and Marley chorused, "Mamma Mia, ABBA medley!" Loudly, going back to singing along to Katy's playing and restarting all the noise and shouting all over again, much to Blaine's annoyance.

"This is anarchy! We can't all just shout at the same time!" He shouted, forcing them all to quieten down and pitching forward his ideas before anyone else could, "I'm thinking that the music needs to be really simple, so we can highlight our voices, no guitars or anything electronic. We go with a simple piano arrangement, which I could play..."

"I'm assuming you're singing lead?" Kitty asked spitefully.

"Well I am a senior and this is my last go at it. We need to win this."

Sticking her hand up into the air, Katy sent Blaine a glare, "Well I'm a senior too, you think everyone wouldn't at least like a shot? Especially if we're doing an ABBA medley."

Agreeing with Katy, Tina was next to speak up loudly, "it feels like North Korea up here!"

His frustration bubbling up, Blaine was desperate to get his ideas heard and accepted by the group, "okay then forget the piano. Forget all the music. We could just do acapella, that always works."

Raising her eyebrows, Unique scoffed loudly, "deja Warblers! Should we wear matching blazers too?"

"Wait! Let's take it back!" Sam called out, "what was wrong with the guitars?"

"Justice for the guitars!" Katy yelled, jumping up off the piano stool and grabbing the nearest guitar, holding it over her head.

"Nothing!" Blaine yelled back, annoyed that his ideas were having this much of a negative response, "why can't you guys just stop resisting me for a second and just go with me?"

"Okay." Tina spoke up loudly, with a short pause, pointing directly at Blaine, "Blaine Jong-il!"

"Yeah! Blaine Jong-il!" Sam agreed, playing the drums loudly.

Stomping his foot on the ground in irritation, Blaine shouted over all the insults being thrown his way, "I'm not trying to be bossy! I'm just trying to give the benefit of my experience! I have won more show choir competitions that anyone else in this room!"

Gasping at those accusations, Katy was very confused as to how that could be true as the rest of the room were silenced by shocked gasps of betrayal. Sighing deeply, Jake stood up from where he was sat and tried to keep the peace, speaking up in a calm tone, "acapella's worth a shot. Let's do it."

"Fine, then you two can go have fun in your little barbershop couplet whilst the rest of us discuss something good." Unique suggested with a large shrug as the rest of the room turned back to each other, shouting out ideas and playing their instruments once again.

Stomping back over to Mr Schue's office, Blaine sat himself down in one of the chairs, stubbornly, "if you guys don't want my help, then I'm not gonna give it."

"Looks like someone's man-struating." Kitty called out.

"I heard that!" Blaine yelled back, pouting harshly as he found himself being very annoyed with the new directions because they'd wanted to come up with ideas themselves.

Katy was walking down the halls with Jake, pursing her lips with annoyance as he told her what had happened with Marley from his point of view.

"I still can't believe you cheated on her!" Katy groaned, full of irritation.

Letting out a heavy sigh, Jake could sense his sister's annoyance, "look I'm sorry okay?"

"Are you really though? Because we've just walked past five girls and you've given a flirty look to all of them." She scolded, raising both of her eyebrows.

Looking up as he rolled his eyes, he was quick to try and change her mind, "I'm not like that anymore, bro."

"Don't you bro me! I'm mad at you." Katy pouted.

"okay, bro. Besides, Marley said it herself, you get involved with me at your own risk." Jake shrugged, trying to look unbothered by his sister's tough scolding and the sad looks he'd get from Marley whenever he passed her.

Stopping him and poking his chest multiple times, Katy frowned deeply and shook her head, "you're saying you have absolutely no feelings about this? Nothing in that cold little heart of yours?"

Pausing slightly, she could see that Jake was struggling to keep his bad boy exterior in front of her and continued to poke his chest until he fought her off, a small smile approaching on his lips as he let out a sigh, "of course I have feelings. I care that I hurt Marley."

"And in the worst way possible." Katy scolded, "from what the human form of Satan said, you slept with her because Marley wouldn't, you realise how much of a jerk this makes you?"

"You don't have to rub it in." He muttered, blushing a bit.

"Look, I'm not gonna sugar coat this for you because you feel like a bad guy." Katy huffed, "I had to listen to Puck doing this stuff every other week and every time I had to tell him how wrong it was. I'm not gonna sugar coat it for you because you're my brother."

Hitting his head against the nearest locker, Jake let out a loud groan and slumped down against it, "I know. I'm a jerk."

"You are." Katy nodded, "but your my jerk. I'm so mad at you right now but that doesn't mean I can't help you try and change for the better."

Leaning his head against her shoulder, he nodded in thanks. Katy let out a sharp breathe, and looked to him to prepare him for what was coming, "I just don't understand why you'd do it to her. You swore to me and Sam that you wouldn't hurt her. You know how much we both want to hit you with textbooks right now."

"Well don't. You know a Puckerman doesn't keep promises." He replied in a monotone, fiddling with the cuffs of his sleeve.

"We both know that's a lie." She whispered, holding up her promise ring that her boyfriend had given to her almost two and a half years ago, "what if Sam were to cheat on me? You'd be mad."

"Furious. I'd beat the crap out of him." Jake said, clenching his jaw slightly, "but that's not the point."

Katy nodded harshly, "Well Marley's like a sister to me. So you can understand why I'm so close to throwing you underneath this locker and attacking you with my backpack."

Rolling his eyes, clearly fed up with the lecture, Jake stood up straight from against the locker and started walking away to his next class, giving Katy a small wave as he left. Stopping him in his tracks and placing her hands on her hips, Katy was desperate to know one thing, "why Bree?" She asked sadly, "why her of all people you could've slept with?"

Furrowing his eyebrows at her sad expression, he shrugged his shoulders up and down, "why do you care who it was with? All that matters is that I cheated. Two minutes ago you were all like 'she's like my sister why would you hurt her in the first place?'"

"Because I'm your sister!" Katy exclaimed, raising her voice, "that bitch has gone out of her way to make mine and Marley's lives living hell this year. You knew that. It's the thought that you'd be happy to talk to her, let alone stick your penis in her vagina after all she's done to us!"

Letting out a heavy sigh as he saw the hurt in her eyes, Jake was failing to keep his tough barriers up as he watched hers come down, "Katy, I-I don't know what to tell you."

"Because she was the first person you thought of who'd give you what you wanted. That's why. And it's a load of crap." Katy told him, harshly, hoping to try and get any type of message across to him, "it was a real jerk move and I'm not gonna let you forget how much of a jerk move it was."

Watching as Jake nodded back at her, guilt covering his face, Katy looked over his shoulder to see Blaine rubbing directly towards him in hopes of a conversation and began walking backwards, "I'm still mad at you!" She called out as she left Blaine to talk to Jake about the weird gas-induced fantasies he'd had in the back corner of the choir room.

Katy was eating hot cookies and ice cream with Becky and Sue Sylvester in her office as she pondered over her life choices with her two favourite students.

"I don't look masculine do I?" She asked with a deep sigh, shovelling chocolate ice cream into her mouth.

Shaking their heads immediately, Becky was first to answer, "you have an allure that goes beyond gender."

"That's what I always say." Coach Sue nodded, "I have to admit, whilst I find his hairline highly suspicious for a man his age, that Bob Harris thinks that I could star in the sequel to 'Boys Dont Cry' and honestly, it kinda bums me out."

"Maybe it's your clothes?" Becky suggested, sharing a look with Katy, "you could try on a skirt every now and then."

Nodding in agreement, Katy sent her favourite teacher a friendly smile, "Yeah, I mean, you rock those tracksuits like no one else but a change could do you good."

Shaking her head, Sue explained the story of what teaching was like when she began that job in the eighties, "the moment I put that tracksuit on, the world bowed before me. I had one made in every colour."

After listening intently, Katy exchanged a look with Becky, who shrugged her shoulders as she took another spoonful of her warm cookies and ice cream, "maybe it's time for a change Coach. Everybody's scared of you now."

"Yeah!" Katy agreed enthusiastically, holding her hand out for a high five with Becky, "it can't hurt to girl it up a bit! And we'll help you!"

Smiling down at the two girls who were curled up together on her office sofa, Coach Sue was ready to girl it up a bit, placing down her bowl and leaning back in her chair, "I suppose you're right ladies. Let's do it."

As Sam, Katy and Marley were walking down the hall together, they weren't expecting to see so much weirdness going on in one afternoon.

First of all, they were ran into by Blaine, who was too caught up in speaking to some felt puppet on his hand to see that they were there. Holding his hands up to his shoulders to stop him, Sam waved a hand in his face exaggeratively, "dude! Hello!"

"What on earth is that?" Marley asked worriedly, pointing straight at Kurt Puppet on Blaine's hand.

Proudly waving at them with the puppet, Blaine smiled at their concerned faces, "its Kurt Puppet!"

"That's meant to be Kurt?" Katy exclaimed with wide eyes.

Squinting at it, Sam let out a small chuckle, "Yeah I see that now!"

"And you're also seeing his hand up Kurt Puppet's butt." Marley added quietly, concern covering her face as Katy began to laugh loudly.

"Don't you think it's kinda weird to have a puppet of your fiancรฉ?" Katy asked, finally stopping herself from laughing after seeing Blaine's large pout and Marley's scarred expression.

Shaking his head as Marley and Sam nodded theirs, Blaine looked over at his Kurt Puppet and smiled, "no. I just was missing him and Kurt Puppet has been a pretty good replacement."

"it's definitely weird." Marley muttered over to Katy and Sam.

Letting out a chuckle, Sam shook his head and tried to resist the urge to whip his phone camera out and take a picture of Blaine and his puppet, "Kurt's gonna freak if he ever sees this."

Unable to seem to find the correct words to say out if slight embarrassment, Blaine looked about the hall and caught sight of something he found very odd. Turning the other three round to look at it too, they were treated with the sight of Sue Sylvester stumbling about in high heeled shoes. As Sam, Blaine and Marley were tilting their heads to the side in confusion, Katy bounced up and down, clapping her hands and shouting compliments over to her at the top of her voice.

All of a sudden, Sue had fallen right over and the four ran over to help her, Sam and Marley taking Katy's lead in showering their Principal with compliments on the new additions to her wardrobe.

Obliviously taking the other approach, Blaine goggled at Coach Sylvester's feet mumbling to himself, "wow you have big feet. What's with the shoes?"

"They're great shoes." Katy glared back at him.

"Well I'm sorry if my femininity threatens you." Sue shot at him before noticing Kurt Puppet and staring at it with a disgusted expression, "what is that? Did you just touch me with a puppet?"

Nodding, Blaine proudly held up his Kurt Puppet for her to see, "I made it in crafts class!"

"Weird right?" Katy mumbled raising her eyebrow up at Coach Sue.

"Very." She agreed before turning to Blaine with an angry frown, "now get that thing out of here! I don't ever want to see that thing in my hallways again."

"What? You can't just ban puppets!" Blaine protested, unknown to the amount of trouble he'd caused by protesting in the first place, "oh no." Katy sighed, quietly, as she saw Coach Sue bubble up with a new anger.

"Are you saying that because of the shoes?" She pushed, "are you less afraid of me?" She shouted, not giving Blaine any time to explain himself, "in a few days time I'm going to be evaluated on my ability to run this school. If the school board comes in and sees schizophrenic students, clearly off their meds and talking to puppets they're gonna think I don't have a hand on things." Pulling Kurt Puppet off of Blaine's hand, and raising a testing eyebrow at him to scare him out of protesting again, "this is contraband. And if I catch you with your hand up the butt of anything that isn't human, you're in a world of trouble."

Pouting deeply as he watched Coach Sue stumble away with his Kurt Puppet tucked tightly away underneath her arm, Blaine turned back to the three he was talking to before and sighed. Noticing his disappointment, Sam placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "don't worry dude. You've got us to talk to." He started, taking a short pause as he smirked, "well, unless you stick your hand up our butts."

With Katy and Marley laughing loudly at him, Blaine pouted even more, wishing that this was a puppet fantasy where he could get this to shut up without even having to ask.

Sam and Katy had entered the auditorium to try and apologise to Blaine after not doing something about his rough week straight away.

Finding him immediately, they watched on in a horror filled silence as they listened to Blaine have a conversation with himself and a puppet.

"I feel like Mel Gibson in the Beaver." He started in his normal voice before switching up to a high pitched one, "more like Mel Gibson in Mad Max! With your abs and your leather..."

"Wait what leather?" Blaine asked, back in his normal tone.

"the leather I was imagining you in." He replied to himself in the high pitched voice once again, "when i was rubbing vapo-cream all over your smooth, hairless, chest."

After hearing this short part of the conversation and managing to lean in close enough to get a decent look at the puppet, Katy gasped and looked up to Sam with wide eyes, "that's meant to be Tina!"

"The vaporape. Makes sense." Sam giggled quietly, drawing attention to the two of them as Blaine was giggling at something his puppet had 'said.'

Coming out from behind the wings, Sam and Katy let out their laughter as Blaine jumped, throwing Tina Puppet behind him and trying to act casual. "What are you doing Blaine?" Katy asked with a small laugh.

"Uh nothing!" He shouted back, "just figuring stuff out you know?"

"Okay can you explain the Tina puppet?" Sam asked, with raised eyebrows.

"And โ€” oh my god is that supposed to be me?" Katy yelled pointing down to a red headed puppet on the floor that was clearly meant to be her.

Widening his eyes and kicking the Katy puppet behind his legs, Blaine was quick to deny this and change the topic of conversation between the three of them, "what did you want to talk to me about?"
