"You could find someone to replace that Sam shaped hole"

It was finally the week of the school production of west side story and the whole glee club was extremely excited.
The only person that wasn't as excited was Kurt, he was ranting to Katy about Blaine's trip to the warblers.
"He looked like a chipmunk." He huffed, annoyed,
"Seriously? You think he has the hots for Blaine?" Katy asked,
"Yeah. I know so, he has that incredibly irritating flirty tone of an eighties rom com villain." Kurt spat, with pure hatred for this Sebastian.
"Well to be honest I don't blame him, Blaine's gorgeous. If he wasn't gay I'd be his number one fan." Katy admitted, being met with Kurt's annoyed face, which practically screamed 'seriously?!'
"And he wants us to go to a gay bar all together. Please come with me, you might be able to make the evil chipmunk think he's bi and decide he doesn't like Blaine." Kurt pleaded.
"I'd usually jump at the opportunity for a party but I'm gonna have to pass, Thursday's are mine and Sam's movie via Skype nights." She shrugged,
"Really? Can't you miss it? Sam isn't here, he won't care."
"Do I look like someone who wants to miss watching True Jackson VP?" Katy asked,
Kurt gave her a strange look, "that's not even a movie."
"But it counts." Katy pouted, personally very excited for True Jackson VP with Sam, "my point is, Blaine wouldn't cheat on you, especially if this guy is Alvin the chipmunk's cousin, he moved schools for you, he must love you pretty darn much!"
Katy gave Kurt a comforting pat on the shoulder, linking her arm in his.
"I guess. It's hard to trust that he's not gonna stay when he looks like he looks, so devastatingly handsome and I'm just here, the baby penguin." Kurt sighed.
"I get it. I mean have you seen Sam? He's a girl's dream! You think I wasn't worried he'd realise that he was too good for the little ginger girl who wears cute, pink headbands and still has multiple stuffed animals? But I remembered how much he loved me everytime we'd do something stupid together like run down the halls after being late just because Mercedes was upset or the little things, like giving me his hoodies, or that he knew my favourite flavour gum, and exactly how I like my coffee." Katy smiled at the memories, trying to put Kurt's mind at rest.
"That's cute, I still want you to come with me though." Kurt insisted, "at least for a little bit. You could find someone to replace that Sam shaped hole."
"In a gay bar? I'm not Tina." Katy raised an eyebrow, skeptically as Kurt laughed.
"True. Okay, okay, you can stay at home. Leave me defenceless with the evil chipmunk." He pouted. "You've got to promise me something though. That you'll really try to move on."
"I am." Katy sighed, quietly.
"Really? Because weekly movie nights doesn't sound like it to me, and you're always texting, FaceTiming or calling him. Katy, you know he's not coming back, so go out and let someone tell you how hot you are at the least!" Kurt sympathised,
"I just like talking to him." Katy mumbled, "but I'll try. You're right. I need to move on."

"This emergency meeting is now in session." Rachel announced. She'd called a meeting with all the glee girls and ex glee girls so Katy, Tina, Quinn, Santana, Mercedes and Brittany were all sat together on the tables of an empty classroom ready to try and help Rachel with her dilemma.
"Now I realise we are a house divided, but I need the advice of my girls." Rachel said, "last time I called a meeting like this was back in Madonna week, and all of you were wildly unhelpful. But it's been two years now, we've all grown up so I'm optimistic."
Santana was already looking bored, only just keeping focus, fed up with being in a room with Rachel for more than two seconds.
"Finn and I were... almost intimate." Rachel explained quickly.
"Almost? What happened?" Katy asked,
"He ran out." Rachel sighed, "I-I just wanted my performance of Maria to be as realistic as possible! And when he found out that that's why I was doing it, he was really hurt!"
Katy widened her eyes, disappointed with Rachel's ever selfish desires.
"Of course he was hurt!" Katy exclaimed, frustrated,
"Yeah, that's really bad Rachel." Brittany added with a sigh.
"I know, I know, I feel terrible about it. And I realise that I was doing it for all the wrong reasons!" Rachel rambled, panicked.
"Do you want my advice?" Quinn asked, calmly, Rachel nodded her head profusely, wanting anything to try and make this right, "just wait. Look what happened to me," Quinn told her, determined to make sure Rachel didn't get ahead of herself.
"You could've used protection." Tina mumbled,
"I'm not talking about getting pregnant, I'm talking about loosing something you will never get back." Quinn explained, wisely, "it changes you, makes everything more complicated."
"I also think you should wait." Santana chipped in, and Katy was admittedly surprised at Santana's addition to the conversation, "speaking from experience, Finn is terrible in bed."
Katy sighed, thinking to herself that they should've expected nothing less from Santana Lopez.
"Santana that is not cool." Tina scowled, defending Finn,
"If Rachel wants my sloppy seconds, she at least deserves the truth." Santana shrugged, leaning forward to elaborate on her point, "look, it was like being smothered by a sweaty, out of breath sack of potatoes that someone soaked in body spray."
"I lost my virginity at cheerleading camp." Brittany interrupted, pitching in her experience, "he just climbed into my tent, alien invasion."
She said it so casually that Katy and Quinn looked at each other wide eyed, both seemingly making a mental note to talk to Brittany later.
"Okay well I guess it's settled. Obviously things between Finn and I are heating up but I think we should wait." Rachel concluded, grateful for their help.
"Loosing my virginity was a great experience for me." Tina spoke up, turning all attention to her, "because I was with someone I love. It happened this summer, Mike and I had talked about it for a while, because we knew that the first time was gonna be something we'd want to remember forever. And when the moment came, we just knew, it was right, it wasn't rushed, it was amazing. He's my first love, and I'll always look back on that moment as being absolutely perfect. No regrets."
Rachel looked thoroughly mesmerised by Tina's story, and the rest of the girls smiled along.
"Loosing my virginity was one of the best experiences of my life." Katy added, being met with a group of sympathetic faces. "It was on Valentine's Day last year, we didn't plan it but like Tina said, we just knew when the moment came. It was at my house, we'd just been cuddling and watching a movie and it just felt right, he made me feel so special and so loved and even though our relationship wasn't forever, I will never regret giving my virginity to him because I truly love him and I'm pretty sure I always will. When you know, you just know." Katy smiled at them, sighing happily at the memory.

Opening night finally arrived, everyone's hard work was finally going to be on show, and with Artie thanked, everyone was ready to go.
"Quit texting Sam, I'm trying to fix your hair!" Quinn said, frustrated.
"Sam says hello." Katy retorted, rolling her eyes, playfully, "he wants a picture of his two favourite girls."
Quinn laughed, quickly posing for the photo, which Katy went straight to Sam.
"Ten minutes until we go on you two, put your lipstick on Katy, quit texting Sam." Mike smiled, running over to the two girls and gazing at himself quickly in the mirror.
"How'd you know?" Katy asked, shoving her phone into her makeup bag, applying the red lipstick to her lips.
"Please. Who else would it be?" He laughed.
With their costumes, hair and makeup finally done, Katy and Quinn gave one last attempt to fix Rory's accent before they went on stage.
"We really should've cast him as a jet." Quinn sighed, as they listened to Rory's lines, deciding to let him be pleased with himself.
"It's better than when we started." Katy said, in such a tone that almost turned it into a question, which Quinn nodded in agreement.
"I think I'm ready!" Rory beamed, changing back to his normal Irish accent.
Katy beamed at him encouragingly, "yeah, you're gonna kill it out there!"
"As are you two!" He grinned, as Puck called him over for them to enter the stage.
As soon as Rory was out of ear shot, Quinn leaned down, smiling smugly into Katy's ear.
"So, could Rory maybe be the next Prince Charming in miss Katy Puckerman's life?" She asked, grinning.
Katy shook her head, "don't get me wrong, he's lovely but he's not my type, more of best friend material if you ask me." She shrugged to a disappointed Quinn, pulling her over to Mike, where she linked her arm in his, quickly getting herself into character before she felt the blazing lights of the stage on her face.
