Third Person

christmas break was now over and everyone had returned to la from hawaii. they all had a great time and were really sad to leave especially jack since it would be a while until he would see lavender again.

it was currently the first day back to school for all of the girls and they were not excited to go back after spending break in hawaii.

"someone get me the fuck out of here" clara whined. "i just want to go to the beach"

"clara that's all we did" jess said. "but i get what you mean"

"i miss lav, it was my first time meeting her and i got really fucking attached" brinnley sighed. "she's literally perfect"

"i think you have baby fever" kate suggested.

"i always have baby fever but it has in fact increased" brinnley agreed.

"i bet you miss your boyfriend too" evelyn brought up.

"i do- wait how did you know about that?" brinnley furrowed her eyebrows.

"oh thank god he actually went through with it" clara sighed very relieved as evelyn did the same. "he wouldn't tell us anything"

"i'm sorry what? can we back up a minute" jess said confused.

"yeah i think we missed a few steps here" kate voiced. "you and zach are dating now?"

"no me and pennywise, yes me and zach are dating now" brinnley smiled. "but y'all want to explain to me how you knew"

"he asked us if he should ask you out on new year's and we told him yes" evelyn explained.

"but then that bitch never told us anything" clara huffed. "i thought you said no again"

"and i thought he was just too pussy to go through with it" evelyn said. "but we were wrong i guess"

"wait it's hitting me oh my fuck you have a boyfriend" jess happily smiled.

"holy shit you guys are finally dating" kate said as if she just caught on. "i'm so happy for you"

"thanks guys i'm very happy too" brinnley said. "but now i'm not going to be because amara is coming over"

"hey guys!" amara hesitantly spoke up smiling at them. "how was your trip to hawaii?"

"i distinctly remember telling you to stop talking to us" evelyn scolded.

"yeah i know but i just wanted to talk to you guys really quick" amara said. "evan left after break but i want to apologize for how-"

"so evan leaves and you come back to us because you don't have any friends now?" jess asked. "wow i feel special"

"no it's not that i just-"

the class bell soon cut amara's sentence off causing the girls, except for brinnley, to immediately saunter off to class.

"um i'll see you around" brinnley smiled softly as her. "i hope you had a good break"

"yeah um you too" amara returned the smile as brinnley walked off catching up with her friends.
