you felt your face heat up when heizou's pretty green eyes stared into yours, the wind flowing through his soft burgundy hair. he sat on the other side of the table, a cute smile on his face, making his eyes wrinkle slightly, and your eyes watched as his two beauty marks moved when he smiled.

the two of you were currently at heyu teahouse, a place affiliated with an acquaintance of yours, yunjin. yesterday, heizou mentioned something about wanting to try the different types of tea liyue has to offer, and heyu teahouse was probably the best place to try tea from in this region.

so of course, you took him there, and recommended different types of teas to him. your treat.

"what was its name?" heizou's eyes left yours to look at the cup of steaming tea by his hand. you looked at it as well, then back at heizou with a little smile on your face, "this one is chenyu brew," you explained. "it's common here in liyue and it originally came from chenyu vale... like its name."

he nodded as he kept staring at the cup like he's never seen a cup of tea before, then he lifted it in his fingers and took a sip. it almost looked like his eyes sparkled.

"it's so good, wow." he said, taking another sip.

"yeah, tea in liyue is something else." you responded, taking your own cup in your hand as well.

"and what are you drinking?"

you glanced at the cup in your hand, but your eyes would immediately go back to look at heizou. you couldn't look away. you liked him a little too much.

"pop's tea." you grinned at the silly name, and he replicated the same grin on his name.

"why is that its name?"

you shrugged, you didn't know much actually. "i think it's because the tea vendor's name is pops... something. i don't remember his name." you replied as you drank your drink.

it's been a few weeks since you first arrived at liyue, and since heizou became your boyfriend. maybe three or four weeks, time flied and you weren't paying much attention to it. but still, you were having the time of your life... mostly because he was staying with you the entire summer, or until whenever you leave.

so for the past few weeks, you and heizou would go out every couple of days, and you would show him around liyue harbor. at some point, you even took him to chenyu vale and you spent a few days there together.

you also introduced him to some of your other acquaintances, like hu tao's coworker, zhongli, and a friend of yours who does lion dancing, gaming. you even took him to watch one of yunjin's performances.

but one thing you knew for sure, is that you'd never put heizou in the same room with hu tao and zhongli again. worst mistake of your life, especially when zhongli's friend xianyun joined in.

these old fossils are just... weird. but they were nice, honestly.

"you've been in liyue long enough," you smiled as you leaned in against the table, "what's your favorite thing about the region so far?"

heizou's wine-colored eyebrows were knit up as he seemed to be thinking, then he shrugged. and after that, a smile formed on his face, "honestly, you."

your eyes slightly widened once he said that, and then he cutely chuckled at your reaction, "okay, but seriously, i loved chenyu vale!" he exclaimed with stars in his eyes, "it's so... blue. and i liked that lion dancer friend of yours. he's a sweetheart." he grinned as he recalled his last interaction with gaming.

and with that, he continued talking about the things he liked about liyue, and you tried your best to ignore him when he would mention that you're his favorite part of liyue. he said that about three times... but you knew he was doing that on purpose.

"but i think i loved liyue just because my tour guide has my heart." he teased you with a grin, moving his hand to your face then he had the audacity to flick your nose.

your face burned, and you scoffed, "okay, okay..." you mumbled, feeling embarrassed about the situation. he softly laughed and retracted his hand.

he took a sip of his tea then placed the cup back down, "hey, do you think it's possible for me to transfer to the akademiya?" he said with a finger on his chin🤔, as if he was thinking. he looked cartoonish.

you raised an eyebrow, "uh, why would you even want to do that?" you awkwardly smiled. "being a student at sumeru akademiya is the worst type of psychological horror and torture out there." you sighed as you remembered that you'll spend like two more years there.

he grinned, then leaned across the table and pinched your cheek. why is he doing this.

"you think i wouldn't go through that just to be with you, darling?" he cooed, still squeezing your cheek between his fingers. you groaned softly, and slapped his hand away.

one thing about heizou, is that he loved flustering and embarrassing you.

"thank you for taking me out again, y/n." heizou grinned as the two of you stood near the porch of your house, the only source of light around you was the moonlight, and a street lamp some meters away from you.

he held your hand in both of his, and he squeezed your hand gently. his hands were soft and warm and nice to hold, and you thought they fit yours nicely.

"why are you thanking me?" you smiled, "i just wanna spend time with you. obviously."

heizou didn't say anything, and instead, he gazed into your eyes. normally you would've felt awkward about such eye contact, but at this point you got used to it. you thought heizou loved eye contact since he does it so much, or maybe it's just to make you feel embarrassed.

"i wanna kiss you." he said in a soft tone, and you just smiled. now the two of you were right by your front door.

"you don't have to ask or anything, you know."

he softly laughed, "i like seeing your reaction." yeah, so he wanted to make you feel flustered.

you let out a sigh, and looked at your shoes for a second. when you were about to look back up, you felt his fingertips on your chin, and he tilted your head up to meet his gaze.

the expression on your face made him laugh, and then he leaned in and pressed his soft lips on yours, his other hand moving to the back of your head, caressing your hair, and pushing you closer to him.

the gestures made you blush, and made your heart race. something about his fingers in your hand and pushing your head to him to deepen your kiss made your heart swell.

well, he certainly knew what to do. maybe it's because of the corny tiktoks he watches... or he's just naturally talented.

when a few seconds passed, he broke the kiss, but kept his forehead on yours, and your lips were less than an inch apart, "i love you." he muttered, smiling.

you smiled back, "i love you too." and after that, you pulled away to breathe. you literally forgot to breathe when he was this close.

letting out the deep breath you were holding, you looked at heizou, as he took your hand in his. "you sure you don't wanna come in...?"

you knew he was mostly worried about your mom, if she would think he's rude or something for hanging out at your house at this hour, despite her asking him to stay.

he shrugged, not knowing if he should.

"just come in." you grinned, tugging on his hand as you pulled him with you, about to unlock the door.

heizou grinned back, squeezing your hand, his eyes never leaving your face, "okay, fine."
