An alarm shrieked in his ear. This is just a dream.
Titus's siblings are awake, trotting around the house in preparation of the upcoming school day. This is just a dream.
Brian is making his coffee extraordinarily loudly. This is just a dream.
Braydin Repp's hand runs through Titus's hair, causing a shock to burst through his body. This is not a dream.
"Titus," the brunette cooed. "It's time to get up."
The blonde forced his eyes open, feeling the stains of tears pressed upon his cheeks. He was in bed, reveling in the warmth. Surprisingly, he was also still pressed up against his... friend. Titus didn't know if he wanted to be just friends anymore.
Braydin repeated himself. "Titus, we need to get up."
"No..." the taller let out a barely comprehensible groan, wrapping his arms around his companion's waist tighter.
"Baby, it's 5:30." Braydin gently pressed his lips to Titus's head, bringing his voice to a whisper. It's 5:30? Like the time? AM? Did Braydin just call him baby?
Titus immediately shot up in shock, face reddening immediately. "I knew that would get you up."
"Oh hush, hun. Go get your clothes." The blonde rolled his eyes, dragging himself out of bed.
Braydin stood up beside him, wincing in pain from the injuries from the day before. A hand was immediately on his waist out of fear his legs would give out, he would lose balance, anything. They both stumbled out of the bedroom and giggled uncontrollably.
Upon reaching Titus's bedroom, they collapsed onto his bed. The taller pulled the other gently up onto the bed and hugged him close to his chest, rocking him softly.
"Oh, my god. We need to have another sleepover." Braydin croaked into Titus's chest and smiled.
Titus scoffed, slipping out of his t-shirt, "You know we will. Now get up and get dressed."
Braydin's eyes raked over Titus's slim build, an unidentifiable feeling twisting his guts. The dimmed red lights Titus always sets on before he sleeps against his tanned skin pulled the breath out of his chest. Biting his lip, he shook his head, breaking the stare and pulled off his shirt, too.
Titus pulled down his sweats and exhaled, almost thankful they were facing different directions as the two pulled their clothes off and applied another set. He only turned around to look at Braydin when he had his fresh, clean pair of sweats on.
Braydin donned a white tank top and a pair of Ethikas, shuffling through his duffel bag for a pair of pants. He realized Titus was eyeing
him and then snickered, pushing him onto the bed.
"Ack- you!" Titus grunted, flipping them so that he held Braydin down, and then threw him up higher onto his bed. He crawled up upon his sheets, trapping Braydin under a blanket he had sitting atop his mattress, and then wrapped his arms around him.
Eventually, Braydin stopped writhing, thriving in the moment. The autumn-like smell floated around him and he yawned softly. Titus cradled him, tilting the boy in his lap back and forth on his bed until the two of them ended up nodding off.
"Boys, hurry up-" Brian opened the door, beaming with frustration. Immediately taken aback, he shut the door very quickly on them.
The teacher turned to his wife standing behind him. "They can walk to school whenever they're up."
