"Y/n, class is starting please stop snickering." the teacher said.

"Sorry." you responded.

Oikawa started laughing because you got caught snickering and when you noticed you decided to kick him again let alone knowing you were gonna laugh, but who cares, you did it anyways. You kick him and he winced in pain once again touching his leg as you put your head down pretending to write notes when in reality you were just trying to hide the fact that you were silently dying at your action and his reaction.

Class was over and you grabbed your stuff and started making your way out the door, Oikawa following behind you.

"Hey ba-" r/n started,

"Sorry r/n I gotta talk to someone real quick, I'll walk you later okay? Bye!" Oikawa interrupted her while running to catch up to someone, that someone, so happening to be you.

"Oh.." she said with her head down,

"Okay well-" she started lifting her head up expecting to meet her favorite brown haired boy's eyes then realizing that he was already gone.

"Well.. see you later I guess.." r/n finished to herself.

As you were walking out the door way down to the hallway eager to finally get away from r/n and Oikawa hoping to see Iwazumi, that eagerness was shut away when you heard Oikawa calling out to you,

"Y/N! WAIT UP!" he shouted.

These words made you pick up your pace nonetheless. Unfortunately, the annoying brown haired kid caught up to do, after all he was chasing after you as you didn't want him to pick up on the fact that you didn't want to see him with your speed.

You felt a hand on your shoulder when your eyes widened in disbelief as to how Oikawa could've so easily placed his hand on you with no thought.

You turned and smacked his arm off of your shoulder as you exclaimed,

"DON'T. Place your hands on me so easily. Or in fact ever again." while looking at him with a serious expression on your face.

He looked hurt but he understood.

"I thought I made that clear?" you stated with a ton of tension brushing of the fake dust and germs you pretended to be left on the shoulder he placed his hand on.

"Yeah... Sorry y/n." he apologized rubbing the back of his neck, his apology however seemed sincere, as if he really understood and respected your words.

You released the tension you had felt and decided that you should at least be a little nicer after the understanding of your words as well as the acceptance and apologetic tone of his.

"So..." you elongated the word waiting to know what Oikawa wanted from you.

"Right! Um..." he started.

The truth was, Oikawa didn't actually need to talk to you, he just wanted to see you, to hear your voice, but he did it unknowingly. Oikawa didn't recognize the fact that he missed you, he was unaware of his actions, let alone how they made his girlfriend feel.

"Um... I forgot-" he completed.

"You...forgot...?" you said. You weren't sure if you were annoyed at the fact he forgot or not, after all you willingly decided to be nice to him and this is what you receive? What a waste.

"Um... Yeah..." Oikawa responded.

"Jesus I knew you were an idiot but I didn't know you were THAT big of an idiot... actually no I lied, yes I did." you told Oikawa with a smile on your face.

"Ouch" Oikawa said as he put his hand over his chest as if your words had actually hurt him,

"That's not very nice y/n" Oikawa whined while slinging his arm over your shoulder.

"What did I say Oikawa." you stated firmly.

"What do you mean y/n?" Oikawa asked.

You sighed, and as much as you didn't even want to breathe the same air as Oikawa, you knew it would've been pointless to keep telling Oikawa to stop touching you since he probably would've forgotten within the next minute anyway.

"Sigh... you really are a forgetful idiot." you said giving Oikawa an annoyed look.

Instead, you scoffed at him an pushed his arm off and you continued walking forward suddenly seeing Iwaizumi. Your eyes lit up and you shouted,

"IWAIZUMI!" while running towards him.

Iwaizumi turned around and was surprised when you suddenly hugged him, he didn't mind it so he returned the favor.

"Y/N WAIT UP! IWA!" Oikawa shouted running to you and Iwaizumi, he saw the way you hugged Iwaizumi and his stomach dropped, but somehow that went away when someone called his name.

Oikawa's POV

"OIKAWA!" shouted a familiar voice.

Oikawa turned around and said,

"R/n?"

"Can we talk..." r/n stated.

"Yeah later I-" Oikawa started until he was cut off.

"Now. Oikawa... It's important." r/n first said firmly then calming her town down to a slight yet upsetting sounded whisper.

"Yeah um..." Oikawa started turning his head to look at you and Iwaizumi, then back to r/n,

"Yeah of course baby." Oikawa finished.

Your POV

You let go of Iwaizumi when he then asked

"Wasn't Oikawa coming?"

"Hm?" you hummed, you then turned your head and realized that Oikawa wasn't next to you which he would've been by now, nor was he behind you trying to catch up to you. Instead, you saw him walking in the opposite direction with a girl next to him.

"Oh? Guess not... He's with r/n." you said turning to Iwaizumi.

"He listened..." you then whispered.

"Guess so." Iwaizumi said.

"You ready to walk home?" Iwaizumi asked.

"Yeah!" you answered, you guys started walking when you then turned your head to see where Oikawa and r/n were but they were suddenly out of your vision. You had a strange feeling but you shook off and figured that Oikawa just wanted to hang out with his girlfriend.

Oikawa's POV

"R/n seemed nervous and upset." Oikawa thought.

"Hey, is everything ok?" I asked r/n.

She ignored my so I knew something was wrong, we turned a corner and we were now by a staircase, not just a stair case, but the stair case. I had a sudden uneasy and queasy feeling when all the memories of this spot came flooding back, those moments were replaying in my head until r/n caught my attention.

"Oikawa."

"Yeah whats up? Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine... but I need to talk to you."

"Yeah of couse, whats up baby?"

"Oikawa... I think we need to break up."

My eyes grew wide. I knew something was wrong but I didn't know that this is what would happen.

"Wait- Wait- What?"

"We need to break up Oikawa. I'm sorry."

"Wait- Why?!?!"

"You're not in love with me the way you're in love with her Oikawa."

I stared at r/n who was now crying, I didn't understand what she was trying to say. No, I did understand but I didn't understand why.

"What are you talking about r/n, of course I love you!"

"THATS THE THING OIKAWA. YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME BUT YOURE NOT. IN. LOVE WITH ME. YOU STILL LOVE HER. YOU'RE STILL. IN. LOVE. WITH Y/N!!"

I was stunned at the words that were coming out of r/n's mouth, although, I wasn't shocked. She wasn't wrong. I did like r/n but I never actually loved her the way I loved and still love y/n. In fact, I never did fall in love with her, sure I liked her but it was temporary, it was until that moment when I realized I lost the one person I truly loved.

"R/n..."

"I see the way you look at her Oikawa... The way you still chase after her... I was hoping that some how you would fall in love with me but apparently I'm not and will never be that person..."

"R/n... I'm sorry..."

"Don't apologize Oikawa. It's okay. I should've expected it anyway. This is the best for the both of us."

"I'm sorry."

"It's ok Oikawa! As much as this pains me I know it'll all work out. Now go after her, before shes really gone for good."

I looked at r/n and gave her one last hug, I let go and wiped the tears off her face so that way she still knew that I cared for her; I gave her a smile and then left.

No POV

"You know I'm actually kinda glad that we decided to
get some food and snacks and come to your place instead! I was getting bored of my house." you told Iwaizumi while placing everything on the coffee table and sitting down on the floor.

Iwaizumi laughed and then sat down to eat the things he bought with you, once he sat down and got comfortable there was a sudden knock on his door.

"Uuuuugh. Just as I saw down and got comfortable too." Iwaizumi groaned.

You laughed as Iwaizumi got up to open the door when you both were now looking at Oikawa.

"Oikawa?" Iwaizumi said.

Oikawa immediately noticed you when he said,

"Y/n... Iwaizumi... Can I come in?"

Iwaizumi turned to look back at you and you nodded in agreement since it took him a while to get here and was already here anyways, you didn't want to be mean.

Oikawa walked in and Iwaizumi asked him,

"So what's up? Why are you here?"

"R/n broke up with me." Oikawa said.
