It's day two of All-Stars and earlier Jack left with Quinn and Jesper to go do some interviews before the skills competition later. Since the guys are busy for most of the day, Nicole and I decided to explore Toronto until the skills competition later. I only met Nicole yesterday but she is one of the sweetest and nicest souls I've ever met. I'm very thankful to have met her and Gabi because it's comforting to know other girls who go through almost the same experiences dating professional athletes.

After finally deciding to get out of bed, I get ready for the day and get dressed. Before leaving earlier, Jack told me we'd be heading out to dinner later to talk about what he said before he was escorted away for interviews yesterday. There hasn't been a time to talk about what he said since once we came back to the room last night we went straight to bed out of pure exhaustion.

Before stepping out of the room, I put on a black jacket I was borrowing from Jack picked up my tote bag, which held my camera and a few other things I might need to film, and headed out of the door. Nicole was meeting me down in the lobby so once I made it down there, I spotted her sitting on a chair by the window looking out to a little park. "Hey Nicole!" Hearing me getting closer, she gets up and envelops me in a hug. "Hey girl, ready to go?" Nodding my head, we headed out of the building in the direction of a few shops we'd seen walking back to the hotel last night.

Turning on my camera a block away from the hotel, I hold it up to face Nicole and me. "Hey everybody, welcome back to day two of my Toronto vlog! I am here with Nicole again." Nicole waves at the camera and greets my viewers. "Jack, Jesper, and Quinn are currently busy with interviews before the skills competition later, so we decided to explore a little bit of Toronto and then get some lunch." We go into a few shops and vlog for a while before heading over to a little restaurant to have lunch.

Jacky boy🏒❤️ Hey Lotte, everything's going well. I'm getting lunch with the guys right now before they have to get ready for the skills competition. What are you up to?

Lotte💫💗 I'm heading to lunch with Nicole now. Are you staying for the skills comp?

Jacky boy🏒❤️ Oh that's great! Tell Nicole I say hi. Yeah, I'm staying, but once I get back we'll head to dinner if that's okay with you. Are you coming with Nicole later?

Lotte💫💗  Yeah that sounds good and nope I'm gonna Facetime Em back at the hotel since I haven't talked to her since we came here.

Jacky boy🏒❤️  Alright say hi to Em for me. I'll see you later babe 😘

Right as the conversation ends, Nicole and I arrive at a cute little restaurant and sit at a table near the window. Yesterday you mentioned that you and Jesper have been together for like three years right?" Nicole looks up from her menu, "Yeah, why?" We both pause the conversation and take a glance down at our menus as our waitress comes and takes our orders.

"Well, yesterday right before Jack and Quinn had to do some interviews after the draft, Jack said that he loved me and we haven't had a chance to talk about it yet. How did you know you loved Jesper? When did you figure it out?" Usually, I would ask Gabi for advice, but I don't want to disturb her fun down in Mexico. Nicole seemed to be deep in thought, collecting and thinking of how she was going to reply.

She takes hold of my hand over the table, "I knew I loved him because of the immense love and care he has for me. Every day I've spent with him in the last three years has been amazing and he will always go out of his way to do little things to make me smile or feel special. I knew I loved him when he took me out on this nice thought-out date. He pulled out all of the stops and put together the dream date I had always talked to him about," Looking up at Nicole I could already see in her eyes that she was reliving the moment, a smile was written all over her face, "Every time I talked about the things I loved, he paid close attention and stored it in his mind for the date. That night he even got me a promise ring, that was about six months after we started dating." There was something so heartwarming about hearing exactly what Nicole says made her fall in love with Jesper.

I started thinking about Jack and all of the things he's done for me in the relatively short time we've been together. He always went out of his way, whether he was here in Jersey or at a game across the country, to send me something to remind me that he missed me just as much as I missed him. The sweet messages attached to what he'd send would be full of thought and make me like my stomach was doing a million cartwheels. "Char, what I'm trying to say is that sometimes it's the little things a person does for you that make you love them. If you love someone it's because they bring out an indescribable feeling within you that you can never get enough of. That's not to say that there might be rough patches here and there, but if you love each other, you'll both communicate and put in the work to come out of the other side stronger." Sending me an encouraging smile, Nicole squeezes my hand. Taking a few seconds to soak in her words I know she's right and store that thought in my mind for later.

We spend the rest of the early afternoon hanging out before we part ways, her going to the arena, while I head back to Jack and I's room. Once I make it back to the room, I pick up my laptop and put my SD card in, uploading all the footage I got today. I was excited to Facetime Em because I hadn't seen her face since Jack and I left for Toronto. When I told her I was coming with Jack she was super excited for me and although I felt bad leaving her at home alone for a while, she told me not to worry and that she'd take the time to go visit her parents.

Sitting down on the bed after taking off my jacket, I place my laptop on my lap and start a Facetime call with Em. It takes her a while to pick up which isn't too strange. Her mom is the ultimate baker and usually, she uses Emilie as her little helper.

Charlotte Hi Emi! I missed you

Emilie I missed you too Charlotte! How are you? How's Toronto been?

Charlotte I've been great, Jack introduced me to one of his teammates who's here named Jepser and to his girlfriend Nicole. She is so sweet, I'd think you guys would get along! Toronto has been amazing, it's been chilly, but nothing too crazy thankfully. How about you? How are Jackie and Paul?

Emilie I'm so happy you're having a great time and you're gonna have to introduce me to Nicole soon. I'm doing great, my parents are doing great too! They miss you.

Since I was so excited to see Em's face, I failed to notice how the wall behind her didn't look like any of the ones I'd seen the last time I visited her parents. The wall behind her had a few pictures hanging, but none of them looked familiar.

Charlotte Em quick question

Emilie Yeah, what's up?

Charlotte Are you sure you're at your parent's house? I've never seen those pictures behind you before.

Looking at Emilie, I see that her eyes are almost wide, almost like she's just now realizing something she was too busy to notice before.

Emilie Oh... uh... you know Aunt Stacy loves to send my parents pictures and... stuff.

In the time I've known Emilie, I had only ever seen her like this a few times, but every time was because she was hiding something. I tried to think of what she could be hiding but only could draw up blanks.

Charlotte Emi I know something is up. What are you not telling me?

Before she could even answer, a familiar tall figure passed behind her. The familiar figure had a backward cap, but I could see curls sticking out from the bottom and a few from the sides and they wore a t-shirt with a yellow "M" on the sleeve. Slowly, I realized who Emilie was with.

Charlotte Oh my god, Emilie Gavin... are you with Luke?!?

Her eyes go wide like a deer caught in headlights. A pink blush makes its way to her face, telling me what I already know.

Emilie Umm... yes...

She scratches the back of her neck before covering her face with her hands in defeat. I knew that she and Luke had been talking a lot since Jack and I connected, but I didn't know it was to the point where they would spend a week together in a completely different state.

Charlotte How did this even happen? Why didn't you tell me you'd be spending the week with Luke?

Emilie Well you know how Luke and I have been talking for a while and we have always mentioned wanting to hang out, and I mean we have a few times, but our schedules kind of aligned perfectly for this week. I didn't have any meetings in the city and I already had a few videos pre-filmed so I could take a break. Luke wanted to know if I was free to come to Michigan and hang out with him and a few of his friends and I just thought why not? I didn't tell you because I didn't know if you'd freak out or not.

Charlotte Em you know you could've told me and I mean you're a grown woman, I can't tell you what you can or can't do. I'm glad you got out of the house and I know Luke is a great guy and I know he's probably taking care of you. Can you tell him to come over here?

Emilie nods before calling out to Luke to come to the living room from wherever he just was in the house. I hear footsteps approaching before Em slides over a little to give Luke space on the couch to come into view of the camera.

Charlotte Hey Luke, nice to see you. Taking care of Em?

Luke is now the one to look at the camera like a deer in headlights. He simply just nods his head, clearly he hadn't noticed Em was talking to me when he passed, probably off in his little world.

Luke Is Jack there? Please tell me he isn't.

Luke looks at me with pleading eyes, hoping his brother isn't here, but before I can tell him that he isn't here, the knob on the door turns and in comes Jack. He notices that I'm still on my laptop, he knows that I'm probably still talking to Em, so he comes over to say hi, but sees Luke and Em.

Jack Luke? What are you and Em doing together? I thought Char told me Em was at her parent's house.

I take a moment to fill Jack in as Luke and Em look like two little kids caught misbehaving by their parents. They let me tell Jack about what they'd told me and Jack looked like he wasn't too surprised.

Jack I had a feeling something was up. Any time I called Luke he'd act weirder and not as annoying as he usually is.

We spend the next thirty minutes catching up with Luke and Em. We even tease them and tell them that they're probably dating and just don't want to tell us, but they swear up and down that they're just friends. Jack and I don't believe that, but we don't tell them that. They make it look obvious since when we mention them dating, their faces turn a bright shade of pink, which they don't seem to realize.
