( I MISS YOU, I'M SORRY )

"HEY RYE, WAKE UP WE STOPPED AT A REST STOP," Tate shook the girl and she groaned but got out the car none the less.

"How far are we?" She asked, walking into the store with the girls as they went to go get breakfast, seeing as it was almost four thirty AM and they hadn't eaten anything since lunch from the day before (the interview kind of ruined everyone's appetite.)

"Just about two hours, Jack needed gas." Gabbie spoke as the walked into the gas station. They walked up to order food for them and the boys, and once the order was place, they waited at the side for it to be ready.

"How's being in the car?" Katie asked and Rylan just shrugged.

"I've been asleep the entire time, practically forgot he was there." She responded nonchalantly, but the girls saw straight through her lies. Gabbie raised her eyebrow expectantly, making Rylan sigh.

"Really?" Christina asked and Rylan slumped her shoulders.

"No, the silence is suffocating me." She spoke truthfully, "even in my sleep."

"Rye talk to him about it." Gabbie spoke and Rylan just shook her head.

"I can't! it's just weird now!" She said as the person at the counter called her name for her to pick up the food. "I'll see you guys later." She mumbled, before going back into the car.

"We need to figure some thing out now, because I can not take any more of 'it's weird now'" Tate mocked, and Katie nodded in agreement.

"those two are the most awkward people I have ever met." She spoke and Christina laughed.

"That's true."

They all eventually received their breakfast and made it back into the car, the trip starting back up again. Rylan found it hard to fall back asleep in the car because now Jonah and Tate deemed it early enough to be blasting music. So, her one escape from being next to Corbyn was now gone, so she resulted into staring out the window as the sun started to rise.

"Hey siri," Jonah spoke to his phone as he drove. "Play my jam out with rylan in the car playlist." He said and Rylan grinned as she heard 2009 Justin Bieber blast to the car making Tate laugh.

"Why the fuck is that the name of your playlist?"

"Because, me and Rylan only ever listen to the same music when it's the music that she forced me to listen to as a kid."

"Oh, shut up, I didn't force you! It's not my fault we shared a room for the first ten years of my life!" She defended and Jonah shook his head.

The Frantzich siblings yelled the lyrics to One Time by Justin Bieber as Tate recorded them. Taylor swift's You Belong with Me started to ring through the car, making everyone sing along. They continued to listen to countless of songs they all grew up with, blasting it through the car, not caring how early in the morning it was. The group was in the middle of Toxic by Britney spears when the GPS told them that they were close to their destination.

They checked in with the owner of the Airbnb, deciding that they were all going to go to sleep for a bit before doing any sight-seeing. They were going to be there for three days being as the boys had to go back to film music videos and finish getting ready for tour. Rylan was asleep in Tate and Jonah's room as everyone regrouped in that room. Rylan being the last one awake was attacked by Jack and Zach who whacked her with Pillows until she agreed to get out of the bed.

"Gosh I'm up!" She said, walking out of the bed and into the bathroom.

"Alright I'm thinking we should go to Alcatraz first." Jack said, making Katie's eyebrows shoot up.

"You want to go see where America's most prolific serial killers were held?" She asked and he nodded.

"it's not like they're  still there." He responded and Jonah raised his eyebrow.

"Why do you want to go to a prison?"

"You guys can't tell me that you're not the least bit curious of what it's like in there." He spoke and Rylan walked back into the room, hearing the conversation.

"He's got a point."

"You two watch way too much crime shows." Ronnie spoke and Rylan rolled her eyes.

"Shut up Ronnie, it's not like the prison is even active holding the prisoners. They closed down in 1963 before making it a tourist spot." She said, making Ronnie look at her weirdly.

"Why do you know that?"

"Crime shows." She shrugged, smirking as she used his insult against him.

"You're just proving my point."

"wellโ€”" She started but Daniel interrupted her.

"Okay I'm not going to sit here and listen to you guys argue." He said, chuckling, "Are we going with Jack's insane idea or are we going to do something else?"

"My idea is not insane, just creative."

"Your definition of creative is insane." Corbyn spoke making everyone laugh, while Jack rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." He said walking out the door as he twirled his keys in his hand.

"Where're you going?" Gabbie yelled and he walked back into the room.

"I already booked the tickets for 5:30 PM. If we leave now, we can get something to eat before." He informed them, walking back out of the room.

"Of course he already booked the tickets." Katie laughed and Jonah closed his eyes while sighing.

"sometimes I seriously question why I'm friends with you guys." He said walking out of the room after Jack.

"You guys! What do we have to do with this?!" Zach asked walking out of the room after the eldest boy Why don't we boy.

"You encouraged it!" Daniel yelled after as everyone walked out after him.

They continued bickering as they made it outside. Everyone was standing outside of the cars as they waited for Gabbie and Katie, who were inside using the bathrooms before they left. Jack and Jonah stood next to each other, watching Corbyn and Rylan as they stood far apart from the other. They secretly were stealing glances of the other, too scared to talk to each other.

"It's been over a week this isn't good." Jonah spoke, eyeing the separated pair.

"What can we do about it?" Jack exasperated, knowing nothing that they can do will fix the fear settled into the hearts of Corbyn and Rylan.

"I don't think there's anything we can do." Jonah responded, and a devilish smirk made its way onto Jack's face.

"I might have a way we can fix it."

"Jack I swear if you say what I think you're gonna sayโ€”"

"We could alwaysโ€”"

"Don't say it. We're not doing thโ€”"

"lock them in a closet." Jack suggested and suddenly the two felt a way fo dรฉjร  vu hit them.

"We are not locking my sister in a closet with her boyfriend." Jonah thought, shivering in disgust as he thought of that possibility of that ending.

"It worked last time." Jack shrugged and Jonah rolled his eyes.

"Last time they weren't dating yet! Now they can figure it out on their own."

"You're just scared that Rye might fuck Corbyn in a closet." Jack rolled his eyes while Jonah's eyes widened.

"Jack!"

"What? Tell me that's not what you're thinking." He laughed and Jonah shoved the shorter boy.

"I'm not scared of that, I'm scared of Corbyn fucking Rylan not Rylan fucking Corbyn." He spoke and Jack raised his eyebrow.

"How's that any different?"

"Rylan's a virgin, she wouldn't fuck Corbyn." Jonah stated and Jack's eyebrows drew together.

"Rye hasn't lost her v-card?"

"Oh, come on, don't act like it isn't obvious." Jonah said and Jack nodded.

"Fair point."

Rylan sat on a hill, admiring the lights that shined on the Golden Gate Bridge. It was almost one in the morning as she looked out at the bridge. After eating and visiting a prison, which she had to admit was pretty cool, the group returned home and watched a movie before they all went to their designated room. Jack tried to be nonchalant as he made Corbyn and Rylan share a room, but the two knew better after getting locked in a closet for almost two hours the year before. When she was sure that everyone was asleep, she snuck out of the house with Jack's car keys and went to go see the golden gate bridge at night.

"I thought we were making this a cute date." A voice spoke behind her, making Rylan jump up and shriek in surprise, not expecting anyone here this late at night. She turned around to see Corbyn standing there, his hands in the pocket of his sweatpants, and his hair all messy from sleep. Rylan had to admit, he looked adorable because she always said that her favorite type of Corbyn was when he was sleepy. She absolutely adored sleepy Corbyn.

"Gosh Corbyn you scared me." She said and he chuckled before slowly walking a little closer to her.

"Sorry."

"How did you know I was here?"

"Cute date." Was how he responded, and she nodded as she sat back down, him sitting down right next to her. They sat in a silence that wasn't comfortable nor uncomfortable as they both looked at the mesmerizing lights.

"Hey Corbyn?" Corbyn just hummed, not taking his gaze away from the bridge. "I'm sorry. When I texted you that, it slipped out. And I totally get it if you don't say it back because it'd be perfectly fine. Everyone moves at their own pace and you don't have to say it back I just said because I said it. Wait that sounded wrong. Of course, I meant it it's not like I didn't, because I totally did! I just didn't want to say it the waโ€”" Corbyn shut up the girl by grabbing her face and pulling her into a kiss. He pulled away after a few moments so he could finally speak.

"I can't say anything if you keep on rambling." He said and she laughed nervously.

"Sorry."

"Don't be it's cute." He reassured and she blushed. He pulled her into another sweet kiss, making her smile as she felt a sense of dรฉjร  vu, as if they were back to when they had admitted their feelings July of the year before. "I love you too." He spoke softly, his voice barely above a whisper, after he pulled away again and she looked at him, shocked.

"what?"

"I love you too." Corbyn said more firmly this time and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Corbyn you don't have to feel rushed to say it just because I did." She told him and he shook his head at her insecurities because he knew deep down, she was scared of him not loving her.

"I'm not rushing anything. I'm telling you I love you because I do." He said and she grinned, quickly kissing him again, before cuddling into his side so they could see the view again. Well more like she was admiring the bridge while his view was the beautiful girl that was curled up right next to him that he knew he was in love with.
