( I MISS YOU, I'M SORRY )
"OOO, LOOK AT THAT." Corbyn cheered as he snapped pictures. Rylan laughed, as she playfully posed, making silly faces. "that's my girlfriend, oh my what a score." He hyped her up as he took pictures for her Instagram.
"Listen, whoever I end up dating, if they don't hype me up the way Corbyn hypes up Rylan, then I don't want it." Katie shook her head as her and gabbie watched the two.
"Rylan and Corbyn are just that couple that makes everyone around them feel lonely." Gabbie shook her head, Jack walking up to the two and handing them both a water before sitting next to his girlfriend.
"What are we talking about?"
"That." Katie pointed over to the other couple, who were now taking silly selfies on Corbyn's phone.
"That's a universal topic." Jack raised his eyebrows and Gabbie nodded.
"most definitely."
"Hey, there's a party tonight that the boys and I want to go to, you know before interviews and concerts start." Jack told the two girls. "you guys should come with us."
"I have a child to watch Jack, I'm not going to a party." Gabbie shook her head, taking a sip of her water.
"We could leave her with my parents, I don't want to leave you home alone." He frowned.
"Rylan doesn't even like parties, Gabbie can stay with her." Katie suggested.
"See Katie this is why I love you." Gabbie pointed at her.
"Gabbie pleasseeeeeee." Jack pouted as he whined.
"Jack, noooooo." Gabbie mocked, causing him to laugh.
"Fine, I'll convince you eventually. But for now, Katie you got the baby?" Jack asked and Katie nodded in response. Jack grinned before grabbing his girlfriend and carrying her to the ocean before throwing her in. Rylan and Corbyn walked back to Katie, who they noticed was now alone. Rylan plopped down next to her, and Corbyn followed her action, but instead he laid his head in her lap so she can block the sum from getting in her face.
"So, rye, party?" Katie asked, just in case. Rylan scrunched up her face, giving Katie the answer she knew.
"No, who's going to a party?" Rylan asked and Katie looked down at Corbyn.
"Your boyfriend with the rest of us." Katie told her.
"You should come with us. you never go to parties with me." Corbyn told her and Rylan looked down at him.
"Corbyn you know I don't like parties." Rylan told him, slightly whining. "they're just a recipe for a disaster that's waiting to happen." She explained and Corbyn sighed.
"You just don't like L.A. parties."
"L.A. parties, Minnesota parties, New York parties. You name it. Any party that mixes teenagers with alcohol is just not my scene." She told him and he raised his eyebrow.
"Fine then we won't drink alcohol."
"You know I wasn't really planning on it anyway; you know with the being underage and everything." Rylan pointed out and Corbyn sighed.
"There's no changing your mind is there?" Corbyn questioned, causing Rylan to laugh before looking down at him.
"it would be naïve of you to think there is."
"Okay ignoring that." Katie shook her head in amusement.
"You guys up for a surf? It's the middle of the day so the waves are getting better." Katie pointed out and Rylan shook her head.
"Nope, last time I went surfing with you two, you," she pointed at Katie, "pushed me off the surfboard, and you," She pointed at Corbyn.
"me?" Corbyn furrowed his eyebrows.
"Threw sand in my hair." She reminded him, which caused him to let out a giggle.
"Oh yeah, that day was really funny." Corbyn spoke as he remembered.
"Actually, that day was really annoying." Rylan corrected.
"Well it's not our fault you have balance whatsoever. It was more fun making fun of you than actually teaching you." Katie told her.
"hey!"
"she's right, rye. You're just the clumsiest person I've ever met." Corbyn agreed.
"You know what, get someone else to play with your hair." Rylan pushed Corbyn's head off of her lap, which caused him to laugh again.
"Don't get mad, we're only kidding." He told her, "about the making fun of you part, not about the clumsiness, there's no help for you in that department." He told her, as he wrapped his arm around her waist. Rylan rolled her eyes before going nodding her head towards the ocean.
"Just go surf, I'll stay here with the Lav." She told them.
"You sure?" Katie asked and Rylan nodded.
"well we can't just leave the baby her on her own." Rylan told them.
"Good point." Corbyn spoke before giving her a quick kiss. He then got up at the same time katie did, before moving behind the little beach tent, and grabbed his surfboard.
"I guess it's just me and you now Lav." Rylan looked down at the baby. She decided to lay down next to the baby and look up at the sky, just admiring the beauty of the state they were in. Soon enough, not Rylan and Lavender were knocked out on the beach blanket Gabbie brought. After the group had enough with surfing, they deciding they were going to go to their rented houses to get ready for the party.
Walking back to their area at the beach, they noticed both Lavender and Rylan completely knocked out. Gabbie and Jack both shook their heads, knowing that Lavender had already taken her nap, so she most definitely not going to sleep that night. Corbyn laughed lightly at his girlfriend, but also 'awed' out loud. He had been dating her for almost a year and he still couldn't get over how adorable she was.
"Yeah I'm not dealing with this." Zach shook his head. He grabbed a cold-water bottle from their cooler, before throwing the water at Rylan. The girl jolted awake, shooting a glare at the boy when she noticed he was the one holding the bottle in his hands.
"I hate you."
"Nothing new." Zach shrugged.
Rylan walked into the room to see Corbyn looking for a shirt to wear. He had just gotten out of the shower, so he just threw on the first pair of jeans he saw after doing his hair. Rylan greeted him with a kiss on the cheek before looking down at the three shirts he had laid down at the bed.
"What are we looking at?" She questioned and Corbyn furrowed his eyebrows in concentration.
"I don't know which one to wear." He told her and Rylan pointed to one of the shirts.
"You look good in both, but I like this one better." She told him, grabbing one of the shirts and unbottnign the buttons so he could put it on.
"Are you sure? I feel like this one looks worst." Corbyn frowned.
"Dude you literally look good in everything, shush." She put her finger up to push his face backwards, which caused him to laugh slightly, before raising his eyebrow.
"did you just dude me?" he asked, and she pursed her lips.
"Maybe."
"Don't do that again." He frowned, and Rylan laughed.
"Corbyn we're already dating, I can't friendzone you." Rylan reminded him and he just shrugged, before grabbing the shirt and pulling his arms through it. Rylan buttoned it up as the two spoke, before Daniel walked in.
"I don't think I'm going to the party tonight." Daniel said and Rylan raised her eyebrow.
"Why not?" Corbyn asked.
"I really don't want to talk about it now, so I'll tell you guys later. But right now, I'm not in a partying mood." Daniel spoke and Rylan raised her eyebrow.
"Does this have to do with Quinn?" She asked and Daniel bit his lip, before deciding not to respond. "Well than." She pursed her lips before looking back at Corbyn.
"Anyways, I came in for shoes." He told Corbyn.
"I thought you said you weren't going to the party?" Corbyn asked, watching as Daniel went through corbyn's shoes.
"I'm not going to the party, but I'm going out still, you know re new my mental health, maybe watch the sunset." He told Corbyn, who just raised his eyebrow.
"You want to go out alone?" Rylan asked, "I can go with you if you want, I'm not going to the party." She suggested. Corbyn fought back the urge to roll his eyes, knowing that Rylan was only trying to be a good friend.
"yeah I'd like that better." Daniel nodded, smiling softly at the girl.
"Of course." Corbyn huffed, letting the jealousy take over him, before storming out of the room. Rylan furrowed her eyebrows together, wondering what had suddenly gotten him so mad.
"What's up with him?" Daniel asked and Rylan shrugged.
"I don't know let's go find out." She spoke, walking out of the room and towards the kitchen, where she could hear Corbyn getting a glass of water.
"What happened? You just stormed out of the room." She spoke, moving over to grab his hand. He snatched his hand away, causing her to raise her eyebrows.
"Wow okay, want to tell me why you're being so distant?" She asked and Corbyn raised his eyebrow.
"I don't know let's start with the fact that you'd rather spend more time with Daniel than with me." Corbyn told her.
"What are you talking about?"
"You're literally always with him and Venus." Corbyn accused.
"What are you talking about?! I'm literally always with you! I blow them off just so I can be with you!" Rylan defended.
"Doesn't change the fact that you'd rather spend time with him than with me." Corbyn narrowed his eyes.
"Then come with us, you know I don't like parties, Corbyn!" She spat his name out, which gave Corbyn the signal that she was getting mad.
"I want to go to a party, they're fun for me! I'm sorry that you have trouble making friends, but that's not going to stop me from making any." His voice raised as he spoke, causing Rylan's anger level's to rise.
"You did not just use that against me!"
"Actually, I think I did." Corbyn quirked his eyebrow.
"You of all people know that I hate being that confined! So why are you pushing this?!"
"I never said you have to go to the party! I just said not to go out with Daniel!" Corbyn crossed his arms.
"Daniel is my friend. So, if I want to hang out with him, I can." Rylan crossed her arms as well, showing Corbyn that she wasn't backing down.
"Yeah, when I'm around to know what's happening." Corbyn told her.
"Since when did you become so overprotective?"
"Ever since he had a crush on you and try to break us up!" Corbyn reminded her of the events of the year before.
"Corbyn he apologized! It was last year! Just get over it, we all are over it!" Rylan exclaimed and Corbyn rolled his eyes.
"it's easy for you, you're just little miss forgiveness. You forgive way too easily, which is why so many people walk over you." Corbyn told her.
"Maybe if you weren't so insecure you wouldn't be so jealous." She shot back, which caused Corbyn to just laugh bitterly.
"I'm the insecure one?"
"That's what I just said no?" She raised her eyebrow.
"You know what, I don't want to go to this stupid party with you anyway." Corbyn rolled his eyes.
"I guess we can agree on something." Rylan told him before turning around and grabbing her phone. "let's go." She told Daniel, before storming out of the house.
