( I MISS YOU, I'M SORRY )

"RYLAN WAKE UP." Corbyn shook his girlfriend, being as she had fallen asleep in the studio as they waited for the tour bus to arrive.

"I don't want to," She said, twisting on the couch and moving so she wasn't facing him anymore. She wants back to sleep peacefully making Corbyn sigh, knowing she wasn't going to get up.

"Come on." He told her, lifting her up and wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around her waist. They were the last ones still inside the building while everyone was waiting outside. Corbyn almost 'awed' out loud when she got comfortable and nuzzled her head in his neck and continued to sleep. He carried her as they went down the elevator and walked out the building to where the tour bus was parked.

"She didn't want to wake up?" Jack asked.

"Nope." Corbyn answered, "But I don't blame her she's barley got any sleep the past few days."

"Why not?" Quinn asked popping up.

"Well we barely slept when we were in San Francisco, and when we came back all she had were meetings while we had rehearsals." Jonah answered, subtly glaring at Maeve who stood there with an innocent smile on her face.

"Rye didn't wake up?" Daniel asked, coming to the group with Jon and Eben.

"Nope."

"Alright get in the bus, and absolutely no stops until we get to Arizona, you're first show is tomorrow night we have to be there before ten o'clock so you guys can shower and get ready." Jon told the group and they made their way in.

"How'd the music video filming go?" Quinn asked the boys as they piled onto the bus.

"It was actually really fun we got to meet m—" Zach started before Jack slapped a hand over his mouth to stop him from speaking.

"We haven't released the song yet Zach." Jack gave him a pointed look, but Zach just sat there confused.

"But Rye heard the song already." He argued, and Jack gave him an 'are you stupid look' as he gestured to Corbyn laying Rylan on the couch because she was asleep before walking over to set up her bunk.

"Yeah but Rylan is asleep, and they don't know anything about the song yet."

"Oh okay." Zach shrugged before going to pick his bunk.

"Corbyn and Jack give Maeve a tour of the bus." Jon ordered before leaving the bus to get on the one behind. The two boys had no time to argue as he left and so Corbyn just sighed before bringing Maeve to the back of the bus to start there.

"Over here is where the closet is, most of our clothes goes in there except pajamas and stuff like that." Corbyn started.

"There's only one closet?"

"Don't complain you chose to come with us." Jack said rudely cause Maeve to roll her eyes and Corbyn to stifle his laughter. "Anyways we hang out here or we're here to make some music." Jack continued.

"That's obviously the bunks, pretty self-explanatory. Over there is the bathroom the kitchen and then what Rylan calls her YouTube space, which is basically what she uses to film, edit's pictures and video's while we're on the road." Corbyn explained and pointed to the little table on the side. "that's also where we eat, in the morning if we're not in the hotel yet or stopping at a diner." He than told her as the bus made it onto the highway. The bus ran over a rock, causing it to jump a bit, and because Rylan was on one of the couches she fell off and onto the floor.

"Ow! Wow that hurt." She said, Corbyn laughing as he walked over to her and helped her up, Maeve started laughing and that cause Jack to stop laughing and glare at her.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because that was funny?" Maeve spoke as if it was obvious. "You and Corbyn were literally laughing too."

"That's different."

"Really because it seems the same to me." Jack was about to retort but Zach cut him off before he could.

"Will you two shut the fuck up? It's almost one in the morning and I'm trying to fucking SLEEP!" He spoke out making Jack roll his eyes before walking over to his bunk, everyone else following after.

"Hey, can you stop by the nearest target?" Rylan asked the driver and he nodded, "alright thank you." She smiled, walking back to the Corbyn sat watching a movie.

"You asked him?" Rylan nodded, sitting next to the older boy.

"Yeah I'm going to meet you guys at the venue while you're in sound check."

"Got it." Eventually, the bus stopped near a target and Rylan grabbed her purse, ready to leave the bus, but Quinn stopped her.

"hey, can we come with you?" She asked, Maeve standing next to here and Rylan's eyes widened.

"uh," Rylan looked up to the boys for help. Jack shook his head telling her not to do it while Corbyn just shrugged, "Yeah sure." She spoke hesitantly, and then glared at the boys. When the other two girls stepped off the bus, they looked at Rylan expectantly. "You two are absolutely no help." Jack and Corbyn just shrugged simultaneously and Rylan walked up to Corbyn and he kissed her quickly.

"good luck." He said and she hugged Jack.

"I'll see you guys later."

"Ooh don't forget chocolate." Corbyn reminded as she walked off the bus.

"I won't." She yelled back walking towards the two girls who were waiting for her.

"Hey Rylan, I actually wanted to apologize. We kind of started off on the wrong foot." Maeve spoke and Rylan furrowed her eyebrows together, really not expecting that to happen.

"What?"

"I mean I crossed boundaries that I shouldn't have crossed, and I was hoping that we could be friends." Maeve apologized, causing Rylan's eyes widen before she smiled genuinely.

"I'd actually really like that." Quinn grinned at the answer happy that there was no longer going to be hostility between the group.

"Ooh this is great." Quinn grinned as they began walking through target.

"What is taking the girls so long? I want chocolate." Corbyn whined causing Jonah to shove him, tired of hearing Corbyn complain.

"We know, you've only said it 10 TIMES IN THE LAST 3 MINUTES!" Jack exclaimed in annoyance causing Corbyn to laugh.

"No, but seriously, what is taking them so long? it's been over two hours." Daniel spoke walking into the green room with a water in his hand.

"Rye texted me twenty minutes ago that they're on their way back like twenty minutes ago, so they should be getting here any minute now." Zach spoke and Jonah cringed a bit.

"I feel bad for her she was stuck with Maeve the entire time." Jonah spoke and Corbyn laughed.

"What's Maeve gonna do? Kidnap her?"

"No but that has to be psychological torture for Rylan." Jack spoke and they all laugh.

"ye—" Daniel was cute off by the sound of laughter getting close to the green room. They all looked between each other wondering who was laughing.

"He did not say that." Maeve laughed, which prompted Rylan and Quinn to laugh harder.

"He did I swear." Rylan responded as the boys looked at the three girls surprised.

"What are you guys laughing about?" Daniel asked skeptically, having a feeling that it was something relating the boys. The three girls looked at each other before bursting into another fit of giggles.

"Nothing," Rylan managed to choke out, before calming themselves down. The five boys looked at them with a mix of surprised and skepticism, before deciding to drop the subject for now. "Here's your chocolate." Rylan spoke, throwing a bag of mini kit kat's to her boyfriend. It hit him in the face as she sat down next to him.

"I don't want it anymore; you want it Mars?" Corbyn said making the other four boys glare at him as he handed her the bag.

"Are you fucking serious?" Zach spoke making Corbyn look at him confused.

"You have been complaining about the fucking chocolate for hours, and we had to sit through it all. And now you don't have the fucking decency to eat it?!" Jack continued angrily, making the girls stifle their as Corbyn shrugged.

"sorry." He grumbled, not really apologizing.

"How was soundcheck?" Quinn asked and Daniel shrugged.

"Same old same old."

"Zach almost fell off the stage." Jonah pointed out.

"Yeah and he tried to pull me down with him." Corbyn accused.

"I WAS TRYING TO NOT DIE GOSH!" Zach yelled.

"How did you almost fall?" Maeve asked.

"Me and Jack were trying to see how far we could lean at the edge of the stage without falling." He shrugged nonchalantly.

"Don't you think that would probably cause you to fall?" Rylan asked he younger boy and Zach just shrugged.

"No I didn't." Zach responded, completely serious making Rylan sigh.

"Sometimes I seriously pray for your mental health, and then right after I wonder why I'm friends with you." She spoke as Corbyn wrapped an arm around her.

"I hate you." Zach playfully glared at her and she just grinned.

"Aww Zach I love you too."

The group of eight hung out in the green room as they waited for limelight and VIP to come. They all kind of separated and stayed on their phones for a while, (talk about our generation 🤠👍), occasionally showing each other tik toks or Instagram posts. Rylan ended up snacking on the bag of kit kats that she bought for Corbyn. The older boy noticed the chocolate that was on her lips as she scrolled through Instagram, so he decided to catch her off guard by kissing her to get the chocolate off of her. Corbyn tried to stifle his laughter when he pulled away to see her stunned expression.

"Okay then." Was all she said, looking back down on her phone and eating more kit kats. He kissed her again, which just caused Jack to fake gag in front of them and Rylan to roll her eyes. "Corbyn do you want chocolate?" She asked him, offering the back with an eyebrow raised.

"No, it tastes better this way," he shrugged, which caused her to laugh as she popped another one in her mouth.

"Your so weird."

"You love me." He responded innocently.

"You guys are disgusting." Jonah told them, rolling his eyes at the pair, which cause Rylan to playfully glare at him.

"Where's tate when you need her?" Was all the younger girl said, causing Jonah to look at her confused.

"What are you talking about?"

"Where's tate when you need her to slap you o—wait what am I talk about? I'm your sister," She spoke, walking over to her brother and slapping the back of his head.

"OW RYLAN!"

"What? I said I was going to do it." She shrugged, sitting back down.

"You guys are so dysfunctional." Daniel told them.

"Alright go kill it boys." Rylan told the five boys, after they finished their pre-show ritual. They five boys started walking up the stairs to get on the stage but Corbyn turned around and ran back to her to kiss her.

"I love you." He told her as her ran back to the stage. Rylan stood there with the other two girls, grinning from ear.

"You guys are so cute." Maeve told her and Rylan blushed, grinning shyly.

"Thank you." She said as they walked around to the back of the building. "There's an entrance to where we can watch in a more private area." She told Quinn and Maeve and led them there. Her phone began ringing as they made it to the door. "I'll be there in a couple minutes, Gabbie's calling me."

"Alright we'll see you later." Rylan walked to the nearest bathroom before picking up the face time call from Gabbie. She put her airpods on before they started speaking.

"Rye I miss you. The house is so empty." Gabbie spoke, pouting through the screen.

"I miss you too Gabs, I can't wait until this part of the tour is over so I can come back." She spoke.

"Have fun though rye, don't hold up because I'm not there." Rylan nodded at the girl and Gabbie raised her eyebrows, "Well how is it with Maeve there?"

"Oh, you will not believe what happened today." Rylan spoke and Gabbie furrowed her eyebrows, kind of scared.

"What?"

"We went to target, and she apologized, she said that she was out of line and she wants to be friends." Rylan explained and Gabbie was quiet for a moment before speaking.

"And you forgave her?"

"Well yeah, I can't just not forgive her that would just be messed up. And she's actually really cool, I spent the entire day with her and Quinn." Rylan continued and Gabbie looked at her skeptically.

"Rye, I don't know if you should've forgiven her."

"What do you mean Gabs?"

"I mean she just gives off bad vibes, I don't really trust her."

"Well right now she seems pretty cool, so I'm not really worried." Rylan shrugged and Gabbie sighed.

"Just please be careful. I don't want you getting hurt. Especially by her." Gabbie spoke and Rylan just nodded.

"Okay, I promise I'll drop her the moment she does something wrong."

"Good."

"Anyways, how are you feeling? How's the baby?"

"we're good, Jack and I spoke and we're going to announce the entire pregnancy and birth on Mother's Day, not when the baby is born. Well hopefully if the baby is born by then."

"She's due soon, so I'm pretty sure she'll be born."

"mhm, anyways, I'm going out with Anna, I'll talk to you later, Love you." Gabbie told the girl and Rylan blew a kiss to the camera.

"Love you too." She said before hanging up.

The one thing that Rylan didn't know is that she should've never trusted Maeve. But of course she didn't know that yet.
