had it been a few days? or had it been a week? dongkyung had lost count. she didn't know anymore how many days she tried to reach him. but it was no use.

she visited his house every day. and there was still no sign of his presence. don't even talk about how many times she had been calling him. his missed calls had probably reached more than 100.

she was getting anxious every minute. once, she cried like she had lost everything when she still couldn't reach him. she was desperate.

he meant literally everything to her. so you could say she definitely lost everything.

today, she visited his house again. and she left his house in disappointment again. she sat there on the bench of the bus stop, staring blankly on the road.

she had no idea where and how to find him anymore.

that jerk. i'm going to kill him once i found him.

the sound of the bus coming snapped her from her thoughts. she looked to the bus, but it wasn't the bus that will lead her to her house area. it lead to the hospital.

hospital.

she blinked, realizing something. she hadn't visited the hospital yet. yes, she remembered it now. how he said the hospital was his safe place. he'd probably be there.

she quickly stood up and entered the bus. it took 15 minutes to the hospital from there.

but because of the bad traffic, it was dragged for about 7 minutes.

once they arrived at the destination, dongkyung got off the bus in rush. but right when her feet reached the entrance, she stopped.

where should i find him?

it's not like she could search for him at each corners of the hospital. the hospital was big and wide, she probably wouldn't be able to find him everywhere.

and so she just followed where her feet took her. she searched for him everywhere around the hospital.

but still, no sign of him anywhere.

she nearly gave up when she remembered that she hadn't go to the rooftop yet. that was the last place where she could go.

she prayed so hard that she will find him there before she swung the door to the rooftop open. her eyes were running wildly, hoping that they would catch his figure. yet, to her disappointment, he was still nowhere to be found.

she was about to turn around to leave the rooftop when her eyes caught the glimpse of someone familiar. it wasn't him, but she still felt flustered when she saw her.

yes, her. the female deity.

she wasted no time and approached the short-haired girl. she was sitting on one of the wooden benches, facing the view of the city.

she stood behind her, and she stretched her hand out to tap the deity's shoulder to alert her that she was there. but before she could do so, the deity opened her mouth.

"i know you'll eventually come to me"

astonished, she couldn't even utter a word. the deity turned her head to look at dongkyung, and there was that usual smile that she always give. "come here, sit with me. i believe you have thousands of questions to ask me" she said, patting the empty space besides her.

dongkyung just nodded and took a seat. she didn't even know her feelings at that time. flustered, mesmerized, surprised, agitated and what-so-on, all mixed in one. she would also admit, she felt a bit relief as she finally found a hint to find him, the biggest hint even.

for a minute, both of them didn't say anything. they just gazed at the city's view. it was nearly 5 pm, so the sun already went down a bit making the blue sky looked just as calm as the deity's face.

"beautiful, isn't it?" the deity suddenly spoke, making dongkyung to turn her head. "pardon?" she asked as she was completely out of her consciousness.

the deity also turned to face her, still with that smile. "the sky. it's beautiful , right?" she repeated.

"ahhh..." dongkyung nodded. she averted her eyes back to the sky. "yes, it really is beautiful" she agreed.

there were millions questions she had constructed in her head about him, but she still didn't know where to start. and she didn't know if she was ready to hear the answers.

"should i start?" again, before dongkyung could do or ask anything, the deity made her move first. her eyes that held the untold truth went straight into dongkyung's.

"yes, tell me everything" dongkyung finally was able to muster up her courage. her gaze was also as sharp, staring at the deity.

"tell me everything so that i could find him".
