seungmin stirred in his bed bored out of his mind as he waited for other members to come home. they were given a week off and everyone decided to go home and visit family. seungmin was the first one to get home and kept stirring in his bed, going on and off his phone to distract himself from the piercing silence. it was weird, he wasn't used to the dorm being quiet, usually, there was always someone making some type of noise - whether it be jisung, jeongin and felix gaming, the tv blasting from the dramas hyunjin was watching, or banging in the kitchen whenever minho was cooking his fancy meals, it was just never quiet until it was way past midnight and it was weird.

he was so lost in thought that he didn't even realize people were home until he heard laughing coming from another room. he quickly perked up and dashed out, a huge grin finding its way on his lips when he saw jeongin and minho slumped on the couch with their bags tossed on the floor.

"you're home!" seungmin exclaimed as he lunged on the youngest, completely ignoring minho and the fact that he disturbed their conversation.

they were somewhat in the midst of a mini argument and seungmin was upset with the other since he didn't pick up his phone whenever he called over the break. it was annoying and he hated it whenever minho didn't give him attention. and so, he devised a little plan so he could get payback - or in other words, annoy the older until he finally got the attention he deserved.

"ack-hyung!" jeongin yelped as he slapped seungmin's back.

seungmin was now sprawled on both boys and flashed them a toothy grin. "took you guys long enough... it was so weird having the dorm quiet"

minho smirked and ran his hands through the boy's hair, "why you missed us?"

seungmin clicked his tongue and slapped his hand away, "as if! I only missed my cute little baby jeongin, isn't that right aggibang??" he said sweetly as he pulled back and straddled the younger, pinching his cheeks.

"ahhh! hyung help me!" jeongin cried out.

minho scoffed and grabbed seungmin by his hair and pried him off the poor maknae. 

"ahh! ahh! hyung it hurts!" he pouted.

his hands then shifted downwards and took hold of his waist, bringing him close so the younger was now sat on his lap.

"behave"

both seungmin and jeongin's eyes widened as they rubbed their head and cheeks from being pulled. seungmin was pouty and was about to lunge back at jeongin but minho kept a firm grip on him. he yelped when he was pulled back and placed on the other side of the couch, his legs on top of minho's lap and jeongin just laughed and stuck his tongue out.

"hah! loser"

seungmin crossed his arms and let out a small huff, annoyed that he couldn't hug his baby. the two then continued on when their conversation. talking about what they did over break as minho drew small soothing circles on seungmin's calves.

"and then we went on a small picnic too!" exclaimed jeongin.

"ooh?"

"We packed a bunch of fruits and I even helped mom make sandwiches too! she said she was so proud of me but like who doesn't know how to make a sandwich?"

"changbin?" said seungmin.

"ah, good point... but yeah my break was nice how bout you hyung?" jeongin perked up.

"hmm...it was pretty boring to be honest just the usual staying at home and spending time with family"

"you guys didn't do anything?"

"hmm we couldn't really do much cause my parents had work and we were all exhausted... I guess I mostly spent it with my grandma..." 

 minho leaned back, as he thought of more things to say, "hmm I went out and played bingo with her friends which was really fun" minho said lazily.

"aww..that's nice hyung," jeongin said cheerfully as he laid on the sofa arm.

"hmm, how about your cats?"

minho perked up, a cute smile found its way on his face as he was more excited with this topic, "ahh! soonie, doongie, and dori were all so cute! we went toy shopping and I got a bit carried away and ended up buying them a new cat tower..." he laughed awkwardly.

"again??" jeongin exclaimed.

"I couldn't help myself! my babies are just so cute! they were so excited when we brought it home and started jumping all over"

"but didn't you already buy them a tower when you last went home?"

seungmin smiled to himself as he watched the older go on and on about his cats. he was adorable whenever he talked about his little fluff babies and you could see the excitement in his eyes whenever he talked about them. he really loved them and it was just so endearing how he could go on and on about them...it was adorable it made his heart ache.

"yeah I did but this time it was a bigger one and dori really liked it! he would climb up all the time and would sleep on the top... ahh he's just so cute and-"

"you're cute too" seungmin interrupted.

"huh?" minho was caught off guard, his thoughts just filled with the cute little cats that he didn't even hear what the younger said.

"say meow"

minho flushed a bit and let out a breath, his tongue in his cheek, as he looked the other way. meanwhile, jeongin's eyes were wide and he felt his cheeks dust a soft pink, embarrassed from the way his hyungs were acting.

"say meow"

minho chuckled and turned back, grabbing seungmin's collar to bring him close, their faces now inches apart.

"Sure I'll meow for you but only if I have you barking in return"

seungmin was unfazed, his eyes narrow, and a cocky smirk on his lips, "say meow"

"brat" minho mumbled and pulled him into a quick kiss. the younger smiled into the kiss and gladly reciprocated until he was pulled back with his hair.

"ahh! it hurts!" seungmin whined.

minho just rolled his eyes and let go of the boy, grabbing his stuff and leaving the two as he made his way to his room. seungmin smirked victoriously, content that he was able to steal the older's attention with ease. he sat back on the couch satisfied and was interrupted with jeongin's whining. his hands covering his flushed cheeks as he tried to get the image out of his head.

"ahhh hyung! you guy's didn't have to do it in front of me right?!"

"cute" seungmin smirked and lunged towards the youngest yet again.

"ahhh get away!"

"why do you want a kiss too?"

"noooo! get away!"
